The Bangles Return
July 18th, 2000-Bangles members Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson and Michael Steele announced today that they would reunite for a new album and a tour, next year. Meanwhile, the Bangles are also embarking on a mini-tour of the States starting in San Diego, CA- September 13th.
Other Tour Dates are scheduled for Nevada, West Hollywood and Chicago. New York and Toronto have also been mentioned as possible Bangle stops. All very exciting news for fans of the Bangles as they broke up 11 Years ago. VH1 will also premiere the Bangles' Behind The Music on July 30th.
The year 2000 is clearly shaping up as the year of the Bangles, lets hope we get more stuff from the talented Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson and Michael Steele.

The Bangles have ended their mini-tour with a sold-out date at Irving Plaza in New York City on October 2nd.They should be in the studio recording at this time.The tour was very well-received and those who went to see the Bangles got to hear six songs that may potentially be on the new album. These include:
"Ride The Ride," "I Will Take Care Of You," "Stealing Rosemary," "Here Right Now," "Between The Two" and "The Rain Song"(previously recorded by Vicki's other band:The Continental Drifters.) The Bangles all sing lead on "Ride The Ride." while the other songs are sung by Susanna Hoffs,Vicki Peterson,Debbi Peterson,Michael Steele and Vicki Peterson respectively.
