George's Statistics Card!

George was probably the least well-know Beatle.  He had a lot of talent, playing lead guitar, playing the sitar and writing songs.  But his song-writing skills did not always match up to those of Lennon and McCartney.  Towards the end of the Beatles he was writing as many songs as them, he had just started to bloom.
He was very quiet, even as a child. His Father descirbed him as
"quiet, he never caused trouble as a baby, he was just quiet."
In school, he didn't do a lot of work, and the teachers let him sleep at the back of the class room, as long as he didn't cause any trouble.  George and Paul were child-hood friends, and it was George that introduced Paul to the guitar.  George played the guitar since he was 8!
When the Beatles first started off, George was only about 16, being the youngest in the group. He was not as charming as Paul, but not as menacing as John, and not as funny as Ringo.  He just stuck to playing his lead guitar.

It was on the set of Help! that George first picked up a sitar.  He had a little fiddle about with it and decided to do some songs with it.  After that, George's image was that he was the guru on the hill.  He would meet up with many guru's and learn to meditate.  For the cover of Sgt Pepper, all the lads chose their favourite people to be in the background.  Undoubtedly, George chose some Guru's.  The two famous Gurus that he met were Ravi Shanker and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.  Maharishi is the star of the song, Sexy Sadie, and the lyrics originally were: "Maharihi, what have you done?" etc etc.  But they had to change them.

George Harrison's Love Life.

George Harrison!  AHHH!

During the filming of a Hard Days Night, George met Pattie.  When she asked for his autograph, Pattie sensed that he liked her because he gave put one kiss on the autograph for Patti's sister, but 10 on Patti's!
So, on January 21, 1966, George and Pattie were wed.  He also met Eric Clapton, and the two became best friends.
But friends can be deceiving.  Eric was very close to Pattie, and it was obvious he liked her. In 1977, George and Pattie filed a divorce, but Pattie married Eric.  Could they have been having an affair?
But in the same year, George met Olivia Arrias. They fell in love and had a son, Dhani, born on August 1st.  A month later they married, and lived happily ever after!
