1st Event, Pulaski
mike wins with an impressive net of 1 steelhead and another missed due to gar error.
water was high, 4 gates, and it was cold of course.
everybody else was shut out, except shane.
toph takes it with 9 trout, and not surprisingly, through any means possible.
beautiful day on the little pine, about 80 degrees and sunny.
mike gets 7, gar 5.
shane and tim not on top of their respective games.
mike wins again, with 3.
a perfect day at historic bellefonte.
no other fisherman worthy of 2nd place.
some even got a chance to catch opening night at brownies.
4th Event, Fishing, Spring Creeks
tim takes 1st by netting 15 and 2nd with an 18" brown.
a glorious memorial day weekend for the 2 day event.
a late charge by gar came up just short, a tactical error cost him a 1st place tie.
gar ends up with 13, shane a memorable 5, tow 4 + the all important 1 that got away, mike a disappointing no show.
the shane rule was well received but mired this event in controversy.
