B.J. Armstrong was born in Detriot, Michigan on September 9th, 1967. B.J. Armstrong for some odd reason decided to go to the University of Iowa, where he had an excellent career. In 1987 B.J. had 148 Assists In 1988 B.J. had 592 points, that is an average of 17.4 per game. Also nailed 62 3-pointers, attempting 137, and ended up with 61 steals. He wound up with 155 assists. In 1989 B.J. had 596 points, which is an average of 18.6 per game. B.J. also sank 160 Free Throws. As a senior B.J led the Big Ten in assists with 173, averaging 5.4 per game. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1989. He was the 18th overall draft pick. He earned three chapionship rings with the Chicago Bulls. He played for the Bulls for 7 years. He played with one of the greatest players in history, Micheal Jordan. B.J. was the first player pick in the Expansion Draft in 1995. He went to the Toronto Raptors. On 9/18/95 he was traded to Golden State and played for them for two seasons. B.J. was then traded to the Charlotte Hornets on 11/7/97. He played there for one full season before getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He was waived by the Lakers on 3/10/99 and Orlando Magic signed him as a free agent on 3/14/99. He finally ended up in Chicago, where he first started his NBA career, and retired after 11 seasons. Career Records (College)

When I was a little kid, my sister and I got a picture taken with B.J. when he was playing for the Hawkeyes. He wasn't playing at the time because he had a broken arm. If I find the picture I will put it on the site.
