DEHUMAN Dehuman were known as one of the most technical bands to come out of canberra and along with PSYCHRIST raised the bar for technical death metal bands as far as speed, precision and timing went. Dehuman started life in the Boardroom and Zorro's scenes of the late 90's, heavily influenced by Slayer and as they became even more proficient at their instruments adopted a style that only death metal gods Suffocation could compare to. After the demise of these venues around 2000, Dehuman later planted themsevles at the Ape for some truely classic gigs. They managed to release one CD in 2000 and played a few gigs across Canberra and Sydney. At this point main songwriter Geoff is working on a solo project called Symphonic Chaos |
