MODERN INVASION MUSIC
Melbourne's Elegeion are a slow mixture of doom and goth, very melancholic and depressing. Featuring pianos, acoustic and electric guitars and both male and female vocals and a hope heap of other stuff to create some truely epic songs. This release will tie in well with the Chalice CD reveiwed earlier, and would appeal to many of the same fans. Perhaps this could be the next wave of metal to become popular? I would not be complaining though, it beats the crap out of this so called 'nu-metal' stuff that became popular of the last few years ... This release is easy to listen to and the depth of the melodies and textures will make it interesting for many more listens to come. I am not sure if this band plays live or not, but if they do ill try to get them up here! A joint gig with Chalice would be the go!
Oh yeah, I have to say thanks to Modern Invasion for the way cool CDs!
