TEMTRIS – THRESHOLD



This was a refreshing CD to listen to. Difficult to compare it to anything in particular, but to my ears traditional thrash style music with some absolutely stunning vocals. Most notable about this band is that it features the drumming of Wayne Campbell who has featured in many Aussie bands Mortal Sin and Grungeon etc… The lady singing on this CD is amazing and instead of those cheesy “operatic” vocals that many euro bands tend to go for, Genevieve’s vocals are closer to power metal. This works really well in my opinion. There are years and years of song writing on this CD and it shows. The tasty leads, crushing riffs and very well structured songs make this a very classy release. These guys will go very far if they push this CD hard enough.
