                                         "My 2 Hour Night With The Backstreet Boys"

  The day came..it was December 6, 1999. This awaited day was finally here. I knew that night was going to be special and it certainly was. It was the best experience ever and the best night of my life. And now I can say "i can die happy now.

Well, I was on my way to the national car rental center in Florida.(bsb hometown). We finally got there. It was only me and my friend called Rachel and her Mom (the devoted fan of Kevin Richardson) . We got out of the car in the parking lot holding up the signs that took us 3 hours just to make! We ran around outside screaming "BACKSTREET #1. Everyone was like "Yea!!" We were phyched! We just couldn't believe we were going to see The Backstreet Boys. RaChel's mom searched for tickets in the purse but she just could not find them. I got nervous and prayed that she would find them. Finally I spotted them and screamed! "Phew" Thank God I spotted that tick! We got our ticks checked in and by the time we were inside i was just so happy! I could not express how happy and overwhelmed to see the one and only BSB! We ran around the place screaming! We went to see our seat and it was just perfect. It was on the balcony right in the middle where the stage was set up. Well we got hungry so we ate something.

We rushed to our seats and all the lights went out, everyone was screaming, people were thinking that BSB were going to come out but it really wasn't it was Mandy Moore. She did ok,,but I thought in my opinion she didn't sing too good. Well, a new group called EYC came out. I can just tell you straight out that they are just a regular boy band but nothing compared to Backstreet. They did take off their shirts. The worst part is that they sang "Where My Girls At?" I was thinking..."whatever".

Well, I felt so nauseous and I felt like vomiting. It wasn't because I saw EYC! It was because I was going to see Backstreet for the first time ever. I had to go to the bathroom....when we came back we took our seats and I was just so overwhelmed knowing the fact I was going to see Howie,Brian,Nick,Aj, and Kevin! It was like a dream come true! There was a long 15 minute wait, and I mean a long one. All of a sudden I look at the screens and they put that Backstreet Commercial sponsored by Sears, You know,,the one where they are getting chased by fans.

Anyways..the song Larger Then Life went on and everybody started to stand up and sing. Well the lights go off and that's where I unexpectedly started feeling better. I was screaming I was like "yes! backstreet's here!" Fog was coming out everywhere and I see this black box from the side of the stage and and red smoke comes out. I see these bright lights and there they were! Floating in the air with surfboards...that's the first time I saw them in real life and I thought this wasn't reality! I thought this was a dream. My friend goes to me "smack me! i think i'm dreaming" i punch her and she starts to scream..LOL. They flew over the crowd and landed safely towards the stage. They went to each side of the stage to salute. (I don't really know what they did, I was dazed out) They bursted out singing Larger Then Life! I started to cry! If you think I'm crazy I don't care...this is how much I love those boys. They sang Get Down and Aj rapped and booty danced on the floor..he looked so good. Then say sang "The One" it was so good and their dance moves are so good and Brian sounded like an angel! They sang As Long as You Love Me...I gotta say but this is my favorite song and I was so happy they sang it so good. They did a chair dance. They did awesome. Then they sang "Don't Wanna Loose You Now" it's a good song. And aj got really into it. They sang Quit Playing Games" They sat down and I see Howie,he looks like he's praying and all of a sudden they are flying and floating in the air, they did flips and AJ was right in front of my section and then I see Howie just a couple of feet away doing flips and throwing red roses to the fans. I swear he flipped 10 times in a row and I do not know how that boy did not fall, especially when he was hanging upside down just like Aj.

I don't know the order of the songs. They had a costume change and they bursted out with Everybody, they even mixed it in with Backstreet's Got It. They were dressed in white and I could just see Howie and Kevins muscles from far away. Then they sang "Don't want you Back." they put some ladders on the stage and did some stunts with them,,and they danced so good...let's just say they were shaking it really good. They sang "That's the way I like It. I love it because they booty danced and they just got everybody dancing!

Kevin did a little solo piano with the only girl in the band that plays the saxophone (however you spell it) that led to the song "Back To Your Heart" they sang it so pretty. They sang "The Perfect Fan" oh my gosh i envied the girls they picked up on the stage. It was 5 girls and 5 mothers. They walked the little girls around the stage hand in hand. Ugh! I wish that was me.

They changed costumes and sang Spanish Eyes...I got really emotional because it's my favorite song and Howie starts off..and I guess you must know by now I love Howie. Well, he started to sing and I screamed....but I ended up crying because I couldn't believe I would hear him singing that live right in front of me. They went on to sing Show Me The Meaning and they really got into it because they dedicated it to Dennis Pop (who made the backstreet boys) which died recently. Then they sang I'll Never Break Your Heart...they started out in the Spanish version and then in the next verse after the chorus they did it in the English version. They did it so good. Then they sang All I have to Give,,they did that hat dance and Howie dropped his hat! Poor thing but he tried to act like he didn't drop it but I noticed right away! He's such a cutie!

They sang No One Else Comes Close and Aj sounded so good. Then they came out and Nick started with "baby it's the way ya make me, kinda get me go crazy,neva wanna stop!...OH MY GOSH! people were screaming! Wow it was so good! The song is, of course, "It's Gotta Be you" ,,in the middle they paused and they introduced their band members and their dancers and the dancers had a competition....it was really good and Brian started to dance with them too. Then Nick introduced Howie...howie was wearing a hooded black sweat shirt...I could tell right away it was him....he had it over his head...he looked so cutie! Nick said he doesn't have a record deal but he can rap real good... he called Howie "MC'D! Nick goes 1,2,3....and Howie started to rap so cuterz! Oh my gosh he sounded so good and it was so funny! then Brian goes "and you know, i cant see the world im walking through, cuz of you,,,yeeaaaaaa!!!" everyone started to scream...and they kept on singing the rest of It's Gotta Be You. They put fireworks and confetti. They said good-bye, but i knew it wasn't goodbye yet. I knew they had to sing I want it that way! all of a sudden the guitar rhythm went on and I heard Brian singing "you are my fire..... aaaaaaahhh!! I screamed so much! and everyone sang! at the end they had us sing the last part....they said their Thank you's and said good-bye and sank their way down under the stage. I said good-bye and a big scream saying "i love you" that was the end of the show.

But i knew something was missing...we had to go towards the tour buses just to catch them leave. We went and people were running to the fences some of them said they touched Kevin! Some girl went over the fence..and I was climbing but I said..."i'm not leaving my friend here so I'll stay here"..I was in pure darkness in a big old bush that was full of pricks....i didn't care! ALL OF A SUDDEN I see AJ'S expedition coming towards us...I run to the car but when he saw us (fans) running he turned around and went the other way we chased the car but it went way to fast! we were so mad....the security guards told us to leave but we said "hell no, we won't go!" we told them off! we we're like "we're staying until bsb come and leave"...well to make a long story short...bsb left too soon...or i think they stayed there until the fans left....but at least i got to see AJ ,up close ya know!

**Special Note**
I truly recommend for all bsb fans that didn't go to this tour,,,make sure you get your tickets...this is one of the best concerts I have seen and it beats out almost any....it was the best experience of my life and I will never forget it! I gotta say it was 2 hours but felt like a half hour..I had so much fun and I didn't even notice how time past by. So if you ever go in February or in March make sure you enjoy every minute of it because it's all really worth it!
