My Closest Friends That Are Too Far Away

This is Mike Benas and his lovely wife, Laura Benas.(left) He is stationed in Yuma with the Marine Corps. She works at Big 5 and attends college. Laura runs more than anybody I know. She participated in a half-marathon in San Diego this January. I miss you guys.

Did I mention that Mike is a goofball? These are actually the glasses issued to him at Marine boot camp.The nightmarish stories are true!!! Bootcamp really does suck.

Daniel Benas's Wedding Day:

    This was the day that I first realized that I was growing up and that things were rapidly going to change. Close to a year after this picture was taken, his brother, Mike, (left of the groom) also got married. These guys were two of my closest friends so after they were married, I was left with a lot of time to myself. I miss these guys alot but wish them only the best in thier lives ahead.
