Caffeine Shot was cristal clear!

Caffeine Shot has really done it this time! They really managed to overcome their soundproblems! Jarco’s voice was just as loud as the rest of their music. Caffeine Shot was (performing) Cristal clear in Manifesto Hoorn. More clear than ever before!

Jarco, the singer, said that the sound on stage was terrible. They could only hear the bassplayer, nicknamed ‘Basjebart’. They didn’t had a clue that the sound for the public was better than ever.It became a nice surprise when the stepped off stage. I think this also was the most important conclusion of this night. A band is dependent on their soundgear.

A band that really likes to amaze people

The die-hard Caffeine Shot fan was amazed. Aswell the people who didn’t knew Caffeine Shot before this gig, maybe for different reasons like the hairstyles or the lyrics. Cause again Caffeine Shot is a band who likes to amaze people. Not necessarly with their music, but with apparences and statements.

Caffeine Shot is a band of friends. A band were ‘just having fun’ is the key factor. Jarco is always interacting with the crowd as much as possible. A little skank dance, sweeping sounds with his voice, or just saying that he pisses on everybody who believes.

Busy men

Rob, the drummer is the best musician in the band. He is really devoted and spends a lot of time rehearsing. He also plays in the band Radiac and he is always busy with music.

Jarco is the main lyrics writer and Spike is not only the guitar player in Caffeine Shot but also the bassplayer in the later in the evening performing gothic band 2Die4. 2Die4 is a band who likes to shock people. Sex, violence and a lot of Marlyn Manson scenes. If you like this music you have to see these guys. If you don’t like guitar players in a mini-scirt you don’t.

Basjebart is completly available for Caffeine Shot. I never saw a more relaxed bassplayer than Bart. He stands on stage with his pointy hair and smiles to the crowd. Just another gig says his body language. I think it would be better if he gives a little bit more.

Media

The article in the local paper (Noordhollands Dagblad of Monday the 23th) about the Manifesto gigs in Hoorn, were also about Caffeine Shot. They wrote about the ‘fight’ and personal problems of Caffeine Shot with the Blink 182 look-a-like band Punica. This shows Caffeine Shot is getting more famous by the minute. Unfortunaly the press likes problems and makes hypes out of nothing. I can say that it was about a drumset. Punica said Caffeine Shot couldn’t play on there set. But there were never real problems between the bands. Everybody knows Punica is the best punkband in Hoorn, don’t we now?

Finally thought

Caffeine Shot was in my opinion the best band of the night. During there gig most people were present and were dancing. At the end of the night there were almost no people left. Beavershot had to play for a sleepy Manifesto. Beavershot was presented as the main act. But the organisation of Manifesto had a better main act in Caffeine Shot.
