August 13th, 14th & 15th was The 30th Annual Woodstock Nation Reunion in Woodstock,Monticello, Bethel, New York . Woodstock 99 at Bethel was not a concert,though Woodstock's 30 year veteran, Joe Anderson,who worked on the stage of the 69 festival and many Reunion stages since, lined up 46 bands to play at several locations during the Reunion dates. Lex and The Pioneers agreed to play, as they have for the last several years. Fri. Aug. 13 The Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue invited the band back, to pay their bar tab (only kidding). more details on future gigs here later

Sat June 5, Lex & the band opened for the LEGENDARY Annie Golden and THE SHIRTS at CBGB's in Manhatten. CBGB's had been celebrating their 25th Anniversary since April 11, the last time that Lex and the band played their. CBGB's is located at 315 Bowery St.

Sat. March 27, we traveled back into Patchogue to see who we left at The Brick House Brewery. The weather could have been better, but as usual, Lex "rocked" the house.The band debuted a few new songs which will be on their forth coming CD. Nobody left disappointed. See you guys in August!!.
Wed. March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) The band brought a bit of Irish luck to CBGB's in NYC. A few green beers, a few shots of Jameson's, a few leprechauns and a LONG night of Excellent Music. CBGB's is on the corner of the Bowery and Bleeker Sts. North of Delancy St. right off the Williamsburg Bridge.
Sat. February 27, The Pioneers did a benefit for the Massapequa Fire Dept. to help a local volunteer who has come down with Cancer.
Later that evening, Lex went back to NYC and played for another benefit, SHE.

Saturday Jan. 23 the band went back to Baldwin and played @ Clarksdale Blues. The last time the band played here, a few "guests" showed up and helped the band out.
