Last year I decided to make a big Career Change , I went from being a nurse to driving a school bus, what I was Looking for was, to have more Quality time with my own Children. Being a nurse ment working alot of Christmas's and mostly all other holidays , and being without them all summer, well all but my 2 days off, So I went out Looking for the perfect job, and I found it ! At first I was worried if I was doing the right thing , but it didnt take me long to find out.. I was !! I had to go through Alot of training, but by the end of the summer I was already to go .. I think my biggest fear was ... were the kids gonna like me..... was I going to be able to control them , if they got out of hand ..... and how my co-workers and I would get along, starting all over again at a new job can put a big stress on your nerves, and with all the worries I had, it was doing just that!
But I was very pleasently surprised that everything went great , My kids and I have a very good relationship, they know they can come to me , if they have any problems and we can work through things together and My co-workers are wonderful, I have one particular person I work with , who has become my best friend, I can talk to him about anything, so I not only found "The Perfect Job" but a very good friend as well ! I have changed my life around , I not only get to spend the time with my family , But I have a rewarding career as well , If you are ever looking for Job that can change your life around, try driving a school bus It worked for me !! :)

nature and Mother Nature.
...has an up to date vocabulary.
...is immune to noise.
...gives reassuring nods to anxious moms
standing at the bus stops.

A BUS DRIVER'S PRAYER
Please Lord, watch over me this day.
Please help me remember to watch all
eight mirrors, two dozen windows,
eight guages, six warning lights,
six dozen faces, three lanes of
traffic and to keep a third eye
open for wobbling bicycles and
day-dreaming pedestrians, especially
teenagers wearing headsets who are
in another world.
Please Lord, help me hear all train
whistles, truck and car horns,
police sirens and the 2-way radio.
Please Lord, give me a hand for the
gear lever, the steering wheel, the
route book, the radio microphone and
the turn signal lever.
And Lord, please grant me the self-control
to keep my hands away from Johnny's neck.
And one more thing, dear Lord, please don't
let Mary be sick all over the bus.
And finally Lord, please watch over
us all so we can do it again.
