Hey welcome to my Rammstein page. Here you will find links, pics, and lyrics. You could have bought some cd's from them, but Geocities said that was commercial, so rather then pay for a Geoshops website, a just took that link off. Here's some background: Rammstein first appeared in 1995. Their debut disk is Herzeleid, which translates into "Heartache". Throughout Europe, word of their blend of horror movies and metal music spread like wildfire (an element they love to show off during concerts), and they immediately became popular throughout the continent. Two songs appeared on the Lost Highway soundtrack: Rammstein; "Ramming Stone", and Heirate Mich; "Marry Me". Lost Highway was produced by Rammstein fan David Lynch. The soundtrack stayed in the German Top Ten for two years up until the release of Sehnsucht; "Hunger". Sehnsucht went double platinum, debuting at No. 1 in Germany. For a large part of their career, the sextet comprised of Till Lindeman; vocals, Flake (pronounced Flah-kuh) Lorenz; keyboards, guitarists Richard Kruspe and Paul Landers, Oliver Reidel; bass, and drummer Christoph Schneider have been rejected in America as being dated and too diverse. But that changed with the introduction of their single, Du Hast, "You Hate". American music shows (such as Mtv) have featured Rammstein and their music repeatedly, along with the slight revival of metal (ex. Fear Factory, Kid Rock, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine). The song you're listening to is Engel; "Angel".
