The fringe festival has been getting bigger and bigger since its debut in 1959. The first performance in the festival was called White Horse Inn, performed by Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen, a Welsh musical society

Since then many society's have come to perform here from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland , the United States , Canada and Switzerland
