The year for this edition of Phil's Yearly Quiz is 1985. Mikhail Gorbachev assumed leadership of the Soviet Union, the U.S. Congress called for sanctions against South Africa, Coca-Cola introduced "New Coke", the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics for the NBA Championship, "Rambo: First Blood Part II" and "The Cosby Show" were hits, and this is what we listened to... (25 Hot 100 singles, 0 album tracks)
