Only low point: Finding out on the web that Gong was touring with Pierre, and heading to San Juan Capistrano last year...only to find a replacement drummer. :( Still a good concert, though. :) One of the most amazing musical moments on PMG albums: Compare "Exotic" on Second Wind, and on Full Circle Live 1988. The former relies heavily on a conga contribution (presumably by Simon Pomara). How can you do the tune without the congas? Pierre do s an amazing job of keeping the basic beat with the high hat, while beating out a continuously inventive and precise rhythm on the toms. Wonderful creativity. Tom

Only two of the drummers I've played with over the years are familiar with your work, but all of them have heard of you by the time i've finished with 'em!
