As we travel along, quilting the fabric of each other's thoughts and theories
with each stitch of our own creativity
we create a collage that will be displayed in memory
on the wall, entitled FRIEND
DRP 3/3/98

This trip begins in Marion, VA. Where the Nomad (aka Damon) and Knock Knock (aka Ken Hoffman) journey to the airport in St. Louis, MO, where they meet up with Tag Along (aka Darla) and our three travelers venture west.

After crossing The Great Plains, they find themselves, two lone trucks and three jabbering travelers, on what almost appears to be a snow covered MOON~~but alas, it is only Wyoming!

Knock Knock does his infamous half-assed Hamlet while pointing out a site to Nomad. Behind our truckers, awaits their precious cargo...not so top secret military trailers....enroute to California.

TagAlong & Nomad stand before the "Devil's Slide" in Utah. It's a mere 26 degrees March 1, 1998. Notice their lack of cold weather apparel? All one can say is, "Just look at what they dont have!" (DeShawn)

A little farther down the road, our travelers come upon some pretty cool tunnels. With the tunnels being pointed in the same direction as their destination, they voted, and ventured on through! Just a few hours later, they found themselves in Sparks, Nevada, where Knock Knock, feeling sorry for the casino, left a good sum of his advance money!! (He's funny that way!)

After successfully entering and exiting a high-security military base in California...minus 2 trailers and one Knock Knock, Nomad & Tag Along head for Reno, Nevada. Then, with Tag safely back on a plane to Hot Springs, AR, her circle near complete, our wandering Nomad, alone, searches for a trailer in need of a competent yeoman.......

And so, this is the tale of just one journey....an adventure on the road, through the windshield of his Marmon, lovingly called the Marmon Naberclacle Twior!
