Reading the occassional poetic ramble seems to bring a strange sense of calm to my wandering soul. There is nothing as expressive as a poem - nothing which can bring about the range of emotions that a beautifully written poem can. Except music, of course! But then, there is poetry in music and there is music in poetry. Inextricably entwined.
