Crewkerne is the place where my girlfriend resides. It`s a small town set in the beautiful hilly somerset countryside and hosts many wonderful and scenic views which are quite outstanding.
Time after time the picturesque settings overwhelm myself with being at ease there and the town of Crewkerne is, in itself, a quite uniqe place.
Crewkerne`s origins go back to Saxon times and is hardly surprising when you feel the calmness that surrounds you as you walk through the town itself.
One place that centre`s Crewkerne and gives it the compliment it deserves is "St. Bartholomew`s Church" which, even to this day, holds magnificent stained glass windows, a must for any visitor.
One other interesting point to add about Crewkerne is the "Bincombe Beeches" Nature Trail which, for any hiker, is a breathtaking experience I shall never forget.

Warriorsoul?....why Warriorsoul might you ask?...well, lets think about music for a moment. Everybody likes music don`t they. I like music, but i like music with a difference. Let`s just say that guitar orientated music is my ideal cup of tea. I like many forms of guitar orientated music...Rock; Heavy Metal; Punk; Pop Rock; Indie; Alternative; Retro; Industrial; celtic; new romantic even, but Warriorsoul is one of my many favourite groups. They were around for many years but they called it a day a few years back but oh what a band they were...it`s a shame but who knows...they might return.
So....here i am! My name is Alan Walker and I live in the United Kingdom. Basingstoke to be precise. Basingstoke is way down south(about 60 miles west of London, just below Oxford) and I have resided here all my life but my roots stem from good `ol London itself which is why I have this annoying cockney accent. I suppose I grew up with it...My grandfather liked wrestling and my mother likes it too but British wrestling was a class all on it`s own. I remember watching Saturday Prime Time on ITV`s World of sport but today wrestling is more of an american tradition but is enjoyed world wide.
I suppose the three main American wrestling organizations would have to be ECW(Extreme Championship Wrestling); WCW(World Championship Wrestling and the WWF(World Wrestling Federation) which is the one I most prefer.
Many superstars have come and gone from the WWF and many have been champions worthy of their game. Hulk Hogan for one, this man made wrestling what it is today. who could ever forget the 500 pounds Japaneese Yokozuna and Bret `Hitman` Hart. What about Shawn Michaels and `Ravishing` Rick Rude. Who could ever forget the power of The Ultimate Warrior and Diesel. The phenom of the Undertaker and proberbly the biggest wrestler to date...`Stone Cold` Steve Austin but the man at the top of the ladder right now is `The Rock` Rocky Miavia. Many fans have their favourites, I have a few. But one sticks out of the crowd. He`s a newcomer to the federation but has marked his territory and stands out in the crowd. He is `EDGE`, a dark, strange character who stands alone. Maybe his turn will befall him one day.

This five piece band from Crewkerne are British Heavy Metal at it`s best and from the very first time I saw them play in Bournemouth I was amazed at the output and energy that they threw at the crowded gig. They are deffinately a band that need recognition and a future. I wish them the very best of luck!!!

I have been an avid fan for 14 years and throughout those years they have infrilled me with their music throughout the generatiuons. Even when their music changed with the times, some said that they wouldn`t last, others said they had sold out, not me. U2 have always and will always be U2, not the same as, not related to any other bands...they are themselves and their music will always be unique. I hope they bring me many more happy hours of listening time in the future...
Would you believe that we actually meet online. It happened one evening when i was using my online service provider and I was trying to access one of their own chat forums but, instead of clicking on theirs, I clicked on another forum of the same name but was being run by different people. I decided to have a look round and see who was in there. I don`t like talking to people unless I have seen their info and when i got down to "C" I noticed a nickname titled "Cher"...I looked at the info and was surprised to see many interests and similarites between us that I paged her and we spoke. Before I new it she was inviting me to a gig to watch this band that she knows and from that weekend on the love has just grown and grown and we cannot get enough of each other.
So...there you have it, you can find love on the internet as I have just proved it, I would never have realized that technology of today could bring such happiness in people`s lives...especially our`s. Chrissy and her three children mean the world to me and I love them all and to Mr. Gates from Microsoft..."Thank you", for without Windows we would never have meet.
One way of creating music could be by using samples and uploading them to a computer and then creating you`re very own songs.
My Friend did this. He has been creating songs using the "Amiga" and has written a 5 track E.P. I have created a C.D. cover for him and...well...for beginners it`s pretty damn good. Deiter(my friend) is currently creating an album and hopefully will be available in the new year.
Basingstoke is a very old town and was a very agricultural place many years before but over the past 30 years it has risen into a more commercial town with buildings looking more like the Canary Wharf than it`s own uniqe touch of class.
Mind you, we do have a lot of industrial estates also and as far as I can remember...Jobs haven`t been much of a problem here.
We have many, many pubs in Basingstoke and a few nightclubs for those who like rave; dance and techo beats but unfortunatly these places are not for me.
We have a very large leisure complex too for all ages. On this site there is an Ice Rink; A Swimming Baths; A Bowling Alley; A Ten Screen Cinema and a Resturant/Motel, can`t be bad huh!!
but I think that the most important thing about Basingstoke is that it is MY town, the place of my birth and my home. People may laugh; people may make fun of Basingstoke but what it boils down to is that this is where my life began and i`m proud of where I came from.
The photo below is of "EASTROP PARK" which is centered in the town center, right next to Basing View where all those Buildings are situated(the ones that look like Canary Wharf).
This picture is supposed to be the spot where the very first settlers settled down. These settlers were called the Basinga tribe(hence...Basingstoke) and maybe we will never know, but you could be looking at history here....
Everybody needs friends don`t they, but can you really say that they are true friends. In my life so far I have made many, many friends but that doesn`t make me popular...oh no!!! in fact you should think to yourself the reason`s why you have made so many friends.
It might be that you are popular (genuine friends) but could it be that they are screwing you because you are rich and they want to take you`re money or could it be that they are just using you as a whipping boy. I have learn`t that over the years you get to know who you`re true friends are. Dieter is one of them...we have been through hell and back together; failed relationships; a few scraps along the way but we are always there for one another(he`s on the right). Jimmy(on the left) is another true friend. We are both on the same wave length and we listen to each others problems and do what real friends do...talk to each other. So my advice to all of you....listen and choose wisely.
That`s Jimmy on the right. Scary bloke isn`t he!!! Not really, he`s one of the nicest guys you`ll ever meet. He`s actually my boss at work would you believe. Anyway, you see his hat, yes it`s a Chelsea Football hat. Typical...trust me to find a friend who supports a rival team to my own. If you haven`t figured it out yet then I`ll tell you:- I`m a life time West Ham Football Club supporter. It`s a shame I was too young to remmeber the last time they won a cup but who knows what the future may bring. Well done Harry Redknapp.
