Ventrilo Setup for the Grim Guard

 

 

Step 1.

Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php and download the Clients Windows i386 – 32bit platform application (version 2.3.0 as of 9/6/05).

 

 

Step 2.

Installing the program is pretty self-explanatory. Start the program after installation and configure it as follows…

 

 

Step 2a.

First create a user name by clicking the ‘Add or Edit user accounts’ button

 

 

 

Step 2b.

Click the ‘New’ button and input a user name in the ‘Setup new user’ box

 

 

Click OK

 

Click OK

 

Step 2c.

Next, setup the server information by clicking the ‘Add or Edit server connections’ button

 

 

Step 2d.

Click the ‘New’ button and enter “GuildChat” in to the ‘Setup new server’ box

 

 

Click OK

 

Step 2e.

Configure the ‘Hostname or IP’, ‘Port number’, ‘Password’ and ‘Default Channel’ fields as shown

 

 

Hostname or IP: nissan3.nrgservers.net

Port number: 3504

Password: <<login to WoW and look at the Guild Message of the Day for password>>

Default Channel: General

 

Click OK

 

Step 2f.

After User Name and Server configuration have been set you can now connect to the server

 

 

Step 3.

Talk some shit, kill some horde and have some fun!
