Yu Long Mountain Steep, Loose Hill
After living through a winter in Xuzhou, China, spring comes early here, it hit the mid 60s in the last week of Feb and it's been spring-like weather here ever since. Now the trees are green and I've had some time to sniff out the good trails on Yu Long Mountain which has become my new stomping ground. After discovering this awesome, short, steep downhill covered with loose rocks and gravel I had to document it on video. I brought some of the Yu Long Bike Gang here to check it out, but they were all to scared to ride it. Bringing my Mantra here with me on the airplane was a very smart idea.

Zhuhai Hot Pot
Many people at home ask me "what do they eat over there?" or "don't they eat dog over there?". Well, I haven't eaten any dog since I've been here, in fact the diet here in China is much more healthy than the crap most Americans eat. To give you an idea of the healthy food that I've been eating lately WATCH THIS VIDEO that shows me preparing, cooking and enjoying a meal outside on the streets of Zhuhai.

Xuzhou BBQ
Everybody loves to BBQ, we all do it in our backyards, out on the deck on the 23rd floor of our innercity apartments, in the middle of the mountains at our campsite and especially at stadiums before a big concert or sports game is a unique American tradition. They love BBQ here in China also, however they do it much differantly than how we do it in America. This video shows just how the Chinese like to BBQ and the stuff they will eat may suprise you. Notice that we are INSIDE a small resturante & burning hot coals to cook and keep warm. The BBQ is built into the table, this would be illegal and considered dirty in many Western countries. I look at it as camping out.

Chinese New Year 4706
After living and working in China for 6 months, I had the unique opportunity to experiance the Chinese New Year in Changzhou, China with my good friend Jimmy and his family, a real Chinese family. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL, and the way they celebrate this holiday is a BLAST!! Kinda like Christmas with fireworks. In this video you will see some of the bizzare foods that they eat, how to make won tons, and of course FIREWORKS! This might be the best video I've made yet.

Free Ride XuZhou

There aren't many places in
XuZhou, China to ride mountain bikes off road, but after living here for a year I've been able to sniff out the best spots. Here's a video of our favorite places we've discovered so far which ironically was filmed on Oct. 18, 2008, my one year anniversary of living here! Some of you might think this is boring, but I think this is the best video I've made to date. This is what I do for relaxation.
