Las Vegas---the city on the glow!! We moved to this desert oasis in April of 1999... Some pics of "The Strip" starting with the dancing waters in front of the Bellagio Hotel: Seigfried and Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage Hotel. Cheryl playing catch with the dolphins: Now that you are all relaxed from viewing these serene pictures, LET'S HIT THE THRILL RIDES!!!!! The Big Shot, on top of the Stratosphere Tower, shoots you at 45 m.p.h. from a platform at 921 feet to a height of 1081 feet in 2.5 seconds. You hit 4 G's on the way up!!! A better rush than hitting a ROYAL FLUSH!!! Is this a look of fear or what???? Lance and Scott taking off!!! Lance and Darrell 11/6/99 Our Good friend Rich from Reno, and web page mentor, finally made his way to Las Vegas and of cource we had to show him the town. What better place then from the "BIG SHOT" This roller coaster weaves around the New York New York Hotel. It has 4777 feet of track, is 203 feet high and goes 67 m.p.h.!!! Lance and Scott seem to be maintaining.... This photo shows the roller coaster and how it is positioned around the casino: Located in Primm, Nevada, 35 miles from Vegas, this is the western hemisphere's tallest and fastest roller coaster.
