All About Kurtz

I was born Brian Scott Kurtz. Through out the years with the many Brians runnning around, the name Kurtz was used. I have grown up and lived in the same town of Mahopac NY. Where the hell is that?? Its about 50 miles north of New York City. I am the middle of three kids. My sister who is 2 years older lives in Rocherster and my brother who is 2 years younger lives at home with the parents. I am smack in the middle. My b-day is June 13, 1981. Which means I am currently 21 years of age. I attend SUNY Albany studying European History and Geography. My love is music though. I live for it and live through it and live with it. I am a metal head. My favorite bands include Megadeth, Metallica and  Black Sabbath. Though I have a love for Opeth that can not really be explained. It just gets to me...ya know. I also consider myself one of the dying breeds of the grunge people. Mother Love Bone RULES!!!! haha. I am not totally but I tend to dress as if and early Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and others.

I have the coolest friends ever. The kick ass. I would do anything for my friends cuz i know they would do anything for me...as long as the can make fun of me.

I currently play in two bands. One, which I have been in since high school and which means a lot to me is Suspended in Kaos. I origanlly joined this band when they were called Pea Shooter. Then the name got changed to Indigo Silence and then to Negative Feedback. The drummer(ricky) and I did this little thing we called Last Generation but the band is now Supspended in Kaos. We play a grunge metal style, maybe about to get heavier, maybe not.

The second band I am in is a band put together my my brother who plays bass. This band is called Misaligned. I joined when my roommate(the rhythm guitarist) and I were talking about finding other guitarists. I have a wonderfully amazing girlfriend. She and I compliment each other extremely well and I am head over heals in love with her as well as married.
