Six am the alarm went off. "Oh I don't want to get up." Ken complained. "You have to dear. You have to get back into the city. You have to work. You have to check on the children. You have to make love to your wife one more time before you leave her." Barbie said pulling him onto her. "If I have to." Ken said kissing her deeply, making love to his wife. "Wonder why Diana got your bug and I didn't?" Ken said holding her. "Weird isn't?" Barbie said. "You're looking lovlier than usual. You sparkle." Ken said. "Sparkle. You have such a way with words." Barbie teased rolling from his arms. "I'm taking a shower, join me and save water?" she asked. "Don't have to ask me twice." Ken said scrambling after her as they streaked across the hall. They had no more than gotten in the shower, "Let's us in Diana is sick." Walker said knocking on the door. Barbie grabbed a towel and raced to unlock the door, wrapping a towel around her. "Sorry one minute she was fine the next, you see. Excuse me I'll help her. Sorry to interrupt Ken." Walker said. "No problem." Ken answered as Barbie slipped back into the shower. "I'm not letting this stop us. We're going up in the woods today, puke or no puke." Diana said. "Walker hand me my towel back and one for Ken." Barbie asked sticking her hand out of the curtain. "Thanks." she said handing one towel to Ken and wrapping the other around herself. "Sorry I passed the Yucks on to you, strange I didn't give it to Ken. We're much closer." Barbie teased as Ken wrapped his arms around him. "If you want to shower, you can borrow some of Ken's clothes." Barbie said. "Yeah that would be nice. Who talked to the kids?" Walker said. "I talked to Kristina, explained you two would be out here for the night and would be back in the morning. She seemed fine with it." Barbie said. "I wonder how Jessy and Zac feel about it." Ken wondered. "I'm going to make breakfast, I'll grab you those clothes first. Boxers or briefs?" Barbie asked, adding, "Another Hanson bites the dust." she laughed. "Either. Prefer boxers." Walker said and Barbie headed across the hall, dressed, and returned with clothes for Walker. The four ate on the porch, enjoying the fresh air and after breakfast the men made their way back to town. "Well woman. You going to throw up breakfast?" Barbie asked. "I'm not sure. Fresh air sure helps." Diana said. "Did I tell you what Kristina said about the wedding. They've decided to wed from the youngest to the oldest, each couple attended by the other two, with their own separate vows. Should be interesting seeing the differences in my girls." Barbie said pointing at the hawk in the distance. "Your girls, I can't wait to hear the words from my boys. We ought to get some number ones out of this wedding." Diana laughed. "The boys will need them, poor Zac, so worried about supporting her already, when he said he could always park cars, I didn't know whether to laugh or scream." Barbie said. "Walker thought he was hilarious, me I was dying my baby parking cars." Diana sighed. "They'll do okay, my Jessy looks high maintainance, but she's a simple girl at heart and she's a hard worker." Barbie said. "Morning Miss Zoe." Diana said. "Do you see the hawk looking for breakfast out there Zoe?" Barbie asked pointing and sharing what hawks eat, how the catch their food, why the other little birds are always near by. "They battle them off because they don't want their babies to be breakfast. There he goes, wonder who isn't moving fast enough this morning. Baby bunny must have gone to far from mommy bunny." Barbie said. "Mr. Hawk and his family will survive because of baby bunny. That's good hawks don't have a lot of babies like bunnies do. Are you ready for breakfast? Mrs. Smith made us pancakes." Barbie said. "Mumum Smith. Pancakes?" Zoe squealed racing to the kitchen. "You really enjoy this place don't you." Diana asked. "Yeah this is home to me. The country, animals, fresh air, hard work, soil, life and death. It's all right here. It's just to far for the kids, they were raised on a farm, but the bitter divorce ruined it for them, they can't see the beauty anymore. I think Ken would be happy here but he is so dedicated to the kids and they aren't even his, except in his heart. They have no idea how luck they are to have him." Barbie said eyes filling with tears. "Man I am falling apart. I never cry, at least not in public. Morning boys, Mrs. Smith is fixing breakfast, Zoe is in there now, go join her." Barbie said. "Wonder where Jessie and Josh are? Not up yet?" Diana said. "Joshua, Miss Jessie, I'm not running a restaurant. It's breakfast time." Mrs. Smith hollered up the stairs at them causing Diana and Barbie to laugh. "Man my boobs hurt." Barbie said adjusting her bra. "Ken get carried away huh?" Diana asked. "No, he got off on climbing through the window." Barbie laughed. "Walker was like a kid in a candy store. He kept saying that when we were younger that was his fantasy, climbing in my window and taking me." Diana shared. "Frisky devil." Barbie laughed. "I just love it when they're whipped." Diana laughed. "Ask for the moon and they'd reach for it. Poor Ken had trouble with his own name there for a while." Barbie laughed. "Love is just so wonderful." Diana said. "True love is just that so wonderful." Barbie said. When the kids finished breakfast they packed a picinic lunch and headed to the woods, to the cabin for and a day of hiking, fresh air, swimming in the stream, fishing, and enjoying. They came back down about 6pm, barely made it through dinner before Zoe and Mackie crashed, the others were in bed by 8pm. "Good old country living. They don't have time to watch TV, too tired." Barbie laughed. "Mrs. Kendall the mister called about five and said not to lock your window, I didn't want to say something in front of the children." Mrs. Smith said. "Thank you Mary, it's a good thing to keep that to us adults." Barbie said. "Well, Mrs. Diana we have hot dates again. This absence makes the heart grow fonder is wrong, it makes the heart grow horny." Barbie laughed. "They're whipped. They have no choice but to adore us and drive thirty miles to steal a moment with us." Diana said smugly. "So true." Barbie sighed. "I'm going to take a nice long soak." Diana said. "Make sure you unlock your window first. Maybe in the morning we ought to make them go out the same way they come in." Barbie laughed. "You are bad. If only a little wear off on me." Diana laughed. "Forget that soak, someone is anxious." Barbie said pointing at the lights coming up the driveway. Barbie ran inside grabbing two flashlights and returned handing one to Diana. "Evening ma'am. Lovely evening." Ken said. "Certainly is stranger. Never seen you in these here parts before. Lost?" Barbie asked. "Yes ma'am lost the love of my life, one minute she was there, next time I looked she was missing. I was hoping you could help me find her." Ken said. "Well I happen to have a flashlight right here, why don't we go look. Out there a piece and see if we can find her for you. I would have looked in the barn, up in the hayloft, but I think that man with you might have lost something there." Barbie said grabbing her flashlight and making her way to Ken keeping her proper distance from a stranger. "Is that true, did you lose something too?" Diana asked. "Yes ma'am, my partner in life is missing. Sure do miss her ma'am she's everything to me. I can't live a minute without her. Sure could use your help finding her." Walker said as Diana made her way to him and led him to the barn.
