"Isaac?" Madeline called to him from the bathroom wondering why he hadn't joined her. "Yeah babe?" Isaac called back. "Aren't you coming?" she asked. "Wouldn't miss it." Isaac answered rushing to her. "Babe I wasn't sure you wanted me sharing your shower." he explained. "Umm you make love to me but don't think I want you showering with me. Isaac Hanson what am I going to do with you. I love you and want to share everything with you." Madeline explained slowly unbuttoning her blouse as he watched it gliding off her shoulders and she placed it on the vanity. She turned back to him and unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans and slipped them down over her hips, lifting one leg then the other before shaking them out, folding them and placing them on the vanity. "Do you need help?" she asked him walking closer and unbuttoning his shirt, caressing his chest before slipping his shirt off his shoulders and tossing it on top of her clothes. "Man have you changed since you've been in LA. You been working out with Tay?" Madeline asked as she caressed his chest again smilinng as he flexed his pecs for her. "Tease." she called him. "It's nice to know you appreciate my efforts." Isaac shared kissing her passionately before adding, "Baby I wasn't out on the town all the time. Maddy I went maybe once a month and only to scheduled events and I didn't go with anybody. Yeah I know the mags have pictures of us with girls all around us, but it was all staged. Maddy I love you, I have for years baby and I don't look at anyone the way I look at you. Maddy you're all I need or want." "Isaac I really knew but when we were apart for so long....." Maddy was overcome, giving into the tears. "Oh baby, I'm sorry. Honest Maddy, I thought we'd be done recording by now and I would be home to you. You never would have doubted my love for you if we'd gotten back on time." Isaac apologized holding her close, kissing the top of her head. "I don't mean to behave like a baby. Isaac I don't know why I freaked the way I did, I know you love me almost as much as I love you but somehow my mind wouldn't listen to my heart. I just kept looking at the pics in the mags and the innuendos from the press and freaked. I know you told me not to read them." Madeline sniffled explaining. "Maddy you're no baby. I guess I didn't think of it from your view is all. When we made love the night before I left, it made everything so much easier for me baby. I was never so sure of your love for me, I mean you had chosen me to give yourself to. Baby I never thought how my leaving you the next day would feed your insecurities. I've loved you forever baby and I knew how insecure you can get. Maddy forgive me." Isaac pleaded lifting her face to his searching her eyes for forgiveness. "I can't believe you. We've decided that I knew better than to freak, that I know how much you truly love me and have loved me for years but you still apologize and want my forgiveness. Isaac I've never felt so loved." Madeline gasped, kissing him longer and deeper than ever before, stirring such passions in them. Madeline hands quickly searched out the waistband of his jeans, unbuttoning and unzipping them and pushing them down over his hips as she felt him lift one leg then the other. Isaac's hands fumbled with the clasps on her bra, finally sending it tumbling towards the floor as his hands searched out her breasts, squeezing lightly as the passion of their kiss grew. "Maddy" Isaac moaned as her hand slipped inside his boxers, caressing him and as he enlarged, she made quick work of slipping his boxers down over his hips to the floor, "Isaac make love to me again." she begged as his hands quickly slipped her panties off and he lifted her carrying her to his parents bed, laying her down gently, making passionate love to her. "Oh God thank you for letting him come into my life." Madeline gasped after they collapsed together, so satisfied. "Maddy I want us to start a family right away, okay?" Isaac asked. "Yeah it's okay for you to want it but are you sure about it babe?" Maddy answered. "Yeah I'm sure and no I don't care what the fans think." Isaac answered annoyed she would question the fans reaction. "Don't get upset hun, it's just I've stayed out of the picture all this time so they don't know how right we are for each other Isaac." Madeline pleaded. "Then they'll just have to learn. Maddy I'm serious about starting a family right away though. You know we'll be great parents and the world so needs more totally wanted and loved children to lead this world some day." Isaac explained, concerned over the questions he saw in her eyes, asking, "What is it Maddy?" "Isaac Hanson, you didn't use a condom again did you and you did it on purpose, didn't you?" Madeline asked a puzzled look on her face. "Maddy don't get mad okay? At least try not to for my sake." Isaac pleaded. "Show me your wallet, do you even have any with you? You Mom and Dad probably have some around here somewhere. Isaac, what am I going to do with you?" Madeline asked, rolling over onto him, pinning his arms to the bed, scowling at him. "So how am I suppose to show you?" he asked wriggling his hands. "I have ways to make you tell me the truth, you cannot resist me and will tell me everything you are asked." Maddy teased, placing her forehead to his, gazing into his eyes then asking, "You want me pregnant don't you?" she asked. "I can't lie Maddy, yeah I want you pregnant so you'll marry me." Isaac answered. "Oh Isaac, what have I done?" Maddy gasped then asked, "What will your folks say? Your fans? Your siblings? Hanson? Your Grampa? Oh Isaac, I wish I'd never given in to my doubts, insecurities but I don't regret giving myself to your one bit. I am so meant to be with you and I guess if I'm pregnant we'll deal with that but until we both agree, we use protection or we can practice abstinence again." Madeline suggested. "No way. I'll use condoms again, anything, just don't turn away from me, I couldn't handle not being able to make love to you, please Maddy." Isaac panicked, pleading. "You have to leave me anyway don't you." Madeline suddenly remembered he wasn't home for good. "Oh Isaac what will I do without you?" she questioned all the fears and insecurities returning as she changed right before his eyes from a confident young woman to a terrified child as she rolled off of him, moving farther and farther away, finally rising and heading to the bathroom, starting the shower. "Maddy don't do this." Isaac insisted hot on her heels. "Don't do what, take a shower?" Maddy asked sarcastically. "No. Turn away from me and hide your true feelings from me." Isaac insisted. "Why not, I've done it all our lives. You picked on me and made me cry and I told people I tripped. Your life is too busy to take me to a dance, I tell you it's just a stupid dance and doesn't matter. We make plans to do something and your family suddenly wants to do something else and we change our plans because I say fine. But now you tell me no, don't behave that way. Make up your mind." Maddy said throwing up her hands totally frustrated, shaking her head while making her wa into the shower as Isaac just stood there, going over and over what she had just said. "Get real Isaac." Madeline called opening the curtain and grabbing his hand, pulling him to her. "Maddy it's true." Isaac shared thrown by the discovery. "Yeah Isaac, it's true. We started really young, it was a gradual process. I look at it as we've been training me to be your partner in life all our lives. Isaac it's not as bad as I made it sound. I love you and I'd do anything to make you happy, even ignore what I think, want and sometimes need. Hun when you're happy my life is so amazing because you love me so much more than I ever imagined." she explained caressing his face, gazing deep into his eyes. "But Maddy, it's, I didn't mean..." Isaac tried to say. "Oh why don't I learn to keep my mouth shut." Madeline said thoroughly frustrated, pulling away. "You aren't going to clam up on me now. Madeline what do you mean about me being happy makes your life amazing. I don't understand babe." Isaac asked pulling her back to him. "Oh Isaac ever since I came back to town, remember you and the guys were into your music and it was the most important thing to all of us, me, the family. We all made allowances, your folks more than me but you didn't question them. But now you question me for doing the same thing." she replied. "I guess so but Maddy are you really happy, really not pretending because you want me to be happy." Isaac asked gazing at her trying to read her reaction. "Here, give me your hand. I'll give it back" she teased taking his hand, first kissing the back of it then lifting it and placing on the side of her face and she sighed at it's touch, then her eyes grew as he instinctively began caressing her face bringing a smile to her face. "Maddy I love you." Isaac blurted out and the smile grew. "I know you do. See Isaac?" she asked. "Yeah babe I see, you sparkle, you shine, you are happy." Isaac answered kissing her deeply his hand leaving the side of her face making its way to her breast, then her belly caressing her body. As his hands caressed lower she moaned deeply as he stroked her, exciting her as he began rubbing up against her slowly, suggestively. "Isaac make love to me again." Madeline pleaded as he turned off the water, lifting her and returning to his parents bed, laying her down gently then grabbing for his wallet, taking out a condom. "Let me?" Madeline asked, adding, "I should share in the birth control." "You amaze me." Isaac replied as she slipped the condom on and they made love to each other, their sharing helping them reach heights of passion they'd never known as they collapsed into each other's arms. The rap at the door awoke them, "Coming." she called out, rolling Isaac off of her, covering him with the comforter before slipping on his shirt and making her way to the door. "Hey Jessy, what's up?" she answered and the two talked about lunch, "Let me get dressed and I'll meet you in the kitchen." Madeline suggested and she dressed, wrote a note for Isaac, "Jessy couldn't sleep, so we're in the kitchen making lunch. I love you. Extremely happy, Madeline." and made her way downstairs. "Sorry to wake you but I was going crazy and Sis is dead to the world." Jessy explained as Madeline joined her in the kitchen. "So what you cooking?" she asked and the two got busy making lunch with Hanson playing in the background and the real thing sleeping upstairs. "You know Maddy, you wear Isaac very well. You're glowing. I've never seen you happier." Jessy commented. "Give me a break sis, you came at one of the worst times in my life and thank God you did. I never would have made it without you two." Madeline answered. "I can't believe as much as you love him, you keep so much to yourself." Jessy replied. "Funny I just let that tidbit slip and boy was he shocked. It happened gradually Jessy, you know when we were little it was lying to our folks when they made me cry and I'd say I tripped. Then their music was more important and you'll find if you're brave enough to take the step, that family is number one and you aren't even a distant second because the family is so large." Madeline explained and the girls started laughing. "All kidding aside, Isaac is the most devoted lover. He makes me so happy, I can't explain it. All I know is all that I bite my toungue at, concede to, or ignore doesn't really matter Jessy all that matters is Isaac. Who would believe the little six year old dancing for joy because the Hansons were transferred and those Hanson boys couldn't pick on her anymore would end up totally gaga over one of them. As it turns out I missed being picked on as much as they missed picking on me. I just plain missed them, especially Isaac. We became so close thanks to the mail. Jessy I confided things to him on paper that I never would have discussed with him in person and by the time I returned to Tulsa, I was already madly in love with him and played any girlie trick I could to capture his heart, he didn't have a chance. I still am. The night before they headed to LA I seduced him because I was scared about him going alone, without me. Well it worked wonders for Isaac and you saw what it did to me, I turned into a quivering mass of jello who couldn't eat, sleeep or think straight. You know I convinced myself that all Isaac wanted was to sleep with me and now that we had, he was looking for the next conquest. God how could I have thought that of him." Madeline explained. "Isn't it amazing what the mind can do? Like Isaac even notices anyone but you. Silly girl he's as whooped over you as you are over him." Jessy responded. The house was filling with the glorious smells of lucnch and as it reached the second floor, one by one it brought them all downstairs. The group sat overlooking the lake, eating lunch, "I could use you guys' help. You see, umm, well, I need to plan a wedding and I need to do it as fast as I can." Madeline announcd. "Who's wedding?" Ash asked without thinking. "Ours." Isaac answered taking them by surprise as Ash swallowed hard almost choking, Zac spit out the soda he had just sipped and Taylor droppe his glass of water he was getting ready to sip, sending it all over the table. "That's wonderful." Chele said. "About time." Jessy teased rising to get a couple of rags to clean up the guys' reaction. When Jessy started to wipe up his mess, she stared at him thinking, 'You jerk how can you no be happy for them." and as if he'd read her mind, he rose and made his way to Madeline, knelt beside her, hugged her tight, "I'm so happy for you. He loves you so much Maddy. He has for years now, I'm glad he finally got smart and talked you into marrying him. Welcome officially to the family but you know you've been my favorite big sister like all my life. I love you too Maddy." "Oh Zac how sweet. I love you too, even when you pick on me and make me cry." Maddy replied tears filling her eyes and as she began to cry on his shoulder, "Honest I didn't pick on her this time." Zac exclaimed patting her back as she began to laugh with the rest of them. "God Isaac is he going to do this at our Wedding?" she asked laughing even harder. "Most likely dear, just expect the unexpected and we'll do just fine." Isaac answered. "Don't worry Maddy, I'll behave until after you've married him. Isaac would never forgive me if I did something and you changed your mind. I really think he loves you best." Zac teased as they all laughed again. "What's so funny, he's my big brother and best friend and she's come between us." Zac said rising and pointing a finger at her. "So! Face it he'd rather sleep with me than you. Give it a few years and you'll understand or ask Jessy." Madeline teased. "Isaac, she's picking on me." Zac whined. "Yes and very nicely if I may say so dear. Proud of you Maddy, you go girl." Isaac replied. Zac returned to his seat next to Jessy, "She picked on me." he pouted. "I heard Zac. I'm so sorry, but he does love her best but it's a different kind of love that the love he has for you so he still loves you hun, don't be sad, be happy!" Jessy replied smiling at him and kissing his cheek. "Ohhh that made me feel better, can I have another one?" Zac asked. "Sure Zac. I'm glad you're feeling better, I think it's great." Jessy answered leaning over to kiss his cheek but Zac stole his first kiss by turning his head and pressing his lips to hers. "Hey you stole that kiss. Maybe I was saving that for someone else." Jessy teased. "Then here." Zac said kissing her deeply. "Whoa. That's not my kiss, here you take it back. Jessy replied kissing him longer and harder. "Jessy" Zac moaned as he wrapped his arms around her pulling her to him, placing her on his lap as one of his hands caressed her butt. "Ahemm, Zac. Hun. We're not alone." Jessy mumbled into their kiss as his hand was become more familiar with her butt. "Ooops. Too bad. Man Jessy, you sure are a great kisser." Zac declared. "Now that's a miracle because I've never kissed anybody that way except you." Jessy shared. "Really. Me, I'm it? Cool Jessy." Zac replied smiling big, then mumbled, "If she's this good at kissing without experience, hmmmm." "Zac Hanson. I don't believe you. God Zac." Jessy squealed grabbing the cushion from her chair and smacking him with it as they both turned red. "I mean, Jessy, not now, I mean years from now, you know when we're Ike and Maddy's age and when I marry you. I can't believe I said that outloud." Zac apologized turn redder and redder. "Oh babe it's okay. I guess I should be happy you think of me that way. Zac I know you didn't mean now, you're not that crass, you just couldn't be." Jessy insisted. "Then why'd you smack me?" Zac asked grabbing the cushion from a nearby chair and smacked her back. "Now what's that for?" Jessy pouted smacking him back before racing away and soon they had involved all the others and they were chasing each other throughout the house, "Timeout. Stop the phone. Oh I'll get it. Hansons may I help you?" Jessy answered the ringing phone. "Jessy? Is this you dear?" Diana asked. "Yeah Mrs. Hanson, you'll have to forgive us we have a small war going on here sorry." Jessy answered trying to get everyone to quiet down, adding, "Who did you want to talk to?" "You'll do just fine dear." Diana answered then explained what she needed done. "Got it. I'll make sure it gets done and the bring the mail back with them Mrs Hanson. You sure you don't want to talk to Isaac or Maddy hint, hint." Jessy asked. "Oh dear I forgot I wanted to ask Isaac how Maddy was doing." Diana asked. "Good question. Good question." Jessy replied. getting Isaac to the phone. "Jessy who is it?" Madeline asked. "The guys' mother." Jessy answer, suggesting, "You ought to go standby him, maybe he'll decide to share your good news." "Nah, I mean we just started talking about it. We haven't set a date yet." Madeline explained. "Yeah you did, as soon as possible you said." Jessy teased. "Oh my god he can't tell her that, she might figure out why." she replied, turning red when she'd realized what she'd said. "Oh Maddy I wouldn't judge you. God Maddy I don't think I've ever met two people so right for each other, so meant for each other as you and Isaac." Jessy shared, shaking her head no, her eyes filling with tears as she choked out, "Sad isn't it." "Yeah Jessy it is sad, so sad. Wonder why they settle for less?" Madeline asked. "Not me. I'd rather be alone than with the wrong man, I've seen first hand what happens living with the wrong man." Jessy answered before walking away. "Sis wait." Chele called out racing after her, catching up with her at the lake where they talked things through while skipping stones on the water. When they finally returned to the house, they were laughing and joking around. "Hey you asked me out and we haven't. Did you change your mind?" Jessy teased. "No babe. What you want to do?" Zac asked. "Hmm let's see, you might as well make it easy on me and tell me where you can go without starting a riot." Jessy answered. "That is the hard part babe, I'm sorry." Zac responded. "Don't apologize Zac. I've chatted with a lot of your psycho fans, you should be careful. Man there are some real sickos out there." Jessy shared wrapping her arms around him, hugging him. "Well there's safety in numbers and like I said I need help getting a wedding put together. Isaac who's your best man going to be hun?" Madeline asked. "Tay and Zac of course." Isaac answered. "Of course. Chele, Jessy would you be my Maids of Honor?" Madeline asked. "Oh yes." Jessy squealed. "I'd love to." Chele answered. "Jessie and Avie as Bridesmaids and Mackie as Ring Bearer and Zoe as Flower Girl, that's a wedding party. Hun we should have at least two ushers." Madeline suggested. "When are we doing this Maddy?" Isaac asked. "This?" Madeline questioned. "When are you going to marry me?" Isaac asked again. "Not soon enough." Madeline answered. "What you doing the last day of the year?" Isaac asked taking her hands in his, "Babe wait right here, okay? Don't move all right? I'll be right back Maddy." Isaac called out to her as he raced up the stairs and returned just as quick, taking her hands in his again, "Madeline Jane Cartwright I've loved you all my life, you're my best friend, the joy in my life. Everything good in my life is because of you and the way you love me. I can't imagine my life being any better than it is but I know it can and will be, Maddy will you marry me on the last day of the year, say yes and be my wife." Isaac asked kneeling before her s he produced a ring box from his pocket, opening it, revealing the most exquisite diamond engagement ring. "Oh my God Isaac, when did you buy this? You just proposed last night." Madeline asked puzzled. "Babe are you going to marry me? I bought the ring way back in 97 when we first made it. I knew then someday I'd ask you and I did." Isaac answered pulling the ring from the box. "Of course I will marry you on te last day of the year." Madeline answered. They all cheered as he slipped the ring on her finger then they discussed what they could accomplish and put together a plan for the day: Chele would design the announcement and invitation, Isaac called and reserved the church, Taylor called and reserved the Country Club for the afternoon reception, Zac called and made reservations for the rehersal dinner and Ash called and found a caterer for the reception. The group then loaded up and headed out to find dresses and tuxedoes.
