"You two look fantastic." Chele squealed as they stepped from the limo. "Thanks. I feel great." Alexandra shared hugging her. "You are magic. I see it. You said you'd put it back and you did Sis, he definitely loves you. It's written all over his face." Taylor whispered as he hugged her tight. "Thanks for helping me figure it out. It was touch and go there for awhile but love triumphs in the end." Alexandra whispered back kissing his cheek before hugging him back. "Dad." Isaac called out and headed after him. "Well you guys can show me to the rest of the family. It seems hubby is preoccupied. I sure hope this doesn't mean Jean is still around." Alexandra shared. "You know about her?" Taylor asked unable to hide his surprise. "Oh yeah. Hey it's kind of hard not to deal with when you get up out of bed to go to the bathroom and he calls you by someone else's name." Alexandra added. "Oh my God he didn't." Chele gasped. "Oh yes he did. We've worked through it all though and we are better than ever." Alexandra declared looking to see Isaac still huddled with his father and now joined by Chris. "Hey Chris. Did you get that script from Brad?" Alexandra asked, intrigued by the sudden hush in their conversation. "Babe we really need to get dressed now." Isaac interrupted. "Yeah we were cutting it a little close. I'll catch up with you later Chris." Alexandra said as Isaac lead her by the hand to the dressing room to shower and dress for the concert. "Whoa. I am a very lucky man. You look fantastic babe." Isaac shared looking at Alexandra dressed in leather to match him, adding, "You are definitely hot." "Yeah I am kind of warm in this." Alexandra teased fanning herself. Walker gathered them all together to pray before the went their separate ways, the guys heading to the stage. "It's great to be in Myrtle Beach. I'd like to introduce you all to the love of my life, my lovely wife, Alexandra." Isaac announced. "What did he say? I'm not going out there. Daddy what's going on?" Alexandra asked. "Don't look at me. Go see your husband and ask him." Walker suggested, escorting her onto the stage. "Everyone my lovely wife Alexandra." Isaac introduced as they all applauded. The two became more dedicated to each other as the tour continued up the East Coast and then circled around heading back to Tulsa. Against the wishes of his parents, Isaac leased an apartment for he and Alexandra instead of moving in with the family. If not for the extreme security measures at the Apartment Complex, they would still be arguing. "So you like Mrs Hanson?" Isaac asked carrying her over the threshold. "Oh Isaac our first home. It's great hun." Alexandra replied kissing him deeply as he showed her around. "It's only temporary. We'll build on the property by the folks' but for right now I thought this would do." Isaac shared. "Isaac honest I was okay with living with your folks." Alexandra replied. "You may have been but not me. I like having you to myself. I just couldn't see you wearing your birthday suit for me if we lived with the family." Isaac explained. "You mean this suit?" Alexandra asked stripping suggestively for him. "Yeah that's it." Isaac moaned taking her in his arms, christening their first home together by making love to each other in every room. Tulsa welcomed the newlyweds with open arms beginning with the last concert of the Tour where Taylor and Zac introduced Chele and Jessy to their fans. Over the next few weeks the couple settled into their marriage and their first home. Even though she was feeling much better Alexandra was still plagued with a queasy stomach often followed by periods of extreme eating. So extreme that the waist of her jeans were way too snug for comfort. "That does it. I've got to do something about this up and down eating." Alexandra grumbled one morning unable to button the jeans she had selected to wear finally pulling on a dress with no waistline. 'Isaac. Morning love. When she arrived, she found Walker busy in his office and Diana visiting with someone, so Alexandra found Zoe in the family room and soon the two were playing, having a blast. "I want you to do something about this. This is not right Diana. You know Isaac is meant for Jean. They've known each other all their lives. We were pregnant together. We decided this long ago, your Isaac would marry my Jean and give us grandchildren to share." an angry voice became louder and more clear. "Linda it wasn't ours to decide. I've accepted that and I'm sorry but I have never seen Isaac happier than he is with his wife. They're a match made in heaven if you ask me." Diana replied. Alexandra strained to hear her mother-in-law before, "What is wrong with you? Has she made you crazy too. I can understand Isaac. She is a beautiful woman and she probably seduced him, but you." Linda argued, adding, "I remember when you told me about her. You said don't worry Linda, he's only infatuated with the fact a beautiful woman gave him the time of day. What happened? You promised me. Don't worry you said, you'd take care of her. So do it. Get her out of his life so he can marry Jean." Suddenly everything made sense and the thought that everyone but her knew about it hurt like a slap in the face. "No cry Lessy me wuv you." Zoe comforted a crying Alexandra. "Oh lil sis I love you so much for this. I have to go home now. I'll come back and play again real soon." Alexandra said hugging and kissing her littlest sister before sneaking out of the house undetected by adults. "Hello." Diana answered the ringing phone. "Hey Mom. Let me talk to Lexy?" Isaac asked. "Lexy. She's not here son." Diana answered. "Huh her note says she was headed your way, wow, over an hour ago. You sure she isn't there?" Isaac asked. "Please no. Oh Isaac what have I done?" Diana gasped at the possibility that Alexandra had been there and overheard her conversation. She was about to confess what had happened as Zoe entered the room wearing Alexandra's favorite watch that Isaac had given her. "Zoe dear where did you get Lexy's watch?" Diana asked. "Lessy me play." Zoe answered showing off the watch. "Sweetie when did you play with Lexy?" Diana asked. "Me play more?" Zoe asked looking around as Diana searched the house for Alexandra. "She's not here Isaac but Zoe has her watch, you know her favorite one that you gave her. Isaac I'm so sorry but if she was here it's, it's, oh I'll never forgive myself if she overheard us." Diana shared then explained what had happened throwing the entire family into a panic at the thought that Alexandra was most likely hurt and upset. They soon split up and headed out to find her. On her way home, Alexandra finally decided to stop at a park she had passed numerous times but never bothered to take the time and check it out. As she walked through, enjoying its beauty, she thought over what she had heard finally decided that it was good to know. It only made her relationship with her mother-in-law a more precious thing for now the two were quite good friends. Alexandra frantically looked for a bathroom as her stomach began to churn. "Are you okay lady?" a little girl asked. Alexandra explained being sick to her stomach and asked for a bathroom. "It's over here. You look like Mommy does, she's having a baby and pukes all the time too. I'm Bethany." the little girl answered leading Alexandra to the bathrooms. "Well Bethany, your Mom sure is lucky to have you. You're going to be a great big sister. Thanks for helping me." Alexandra said so excited by the possibility. She was headed up the stairs to the parking lot to go home and tell Isaac. "Isaac's car." Jean squealed and quickly turned around and headed back to the park and began searching for him. "Not you." Jean mumbled finding Alexandra instead. "Yep it's me not my husband. Sorry to disappoint you." Alexandra replied. "He should be my husband." Jean argued. "I heard that from your mother earlier. Jean I'm sorry but Isaac and I were meant to be together and nothing or noone is going to come between us." Alexandra shared. "Bitch." Jean screamed, adding, "I'll just remove you from the picture and he'll be all mine again." With that declaration Jean pushed with all her might sending Alexandra tumbling backwards down the stairs. Alexandra landed hard and her head took the majority of the force. Jean raced to her, first shocked at what she had done but as Alexandra moaned and began to move, "Die bitch. He's mine and always will be." Jean screamed and began kicking her, first in the back, then the stomach. "Stop. Stop that you're killing her. Help. Help. Murder. No I remember now, Fire. Fire. Fire." Bethany screamed over and over as people began to arrive. "Stop. You'll kill her." a man called out realizing there was no fire but something worse. He rushed towards Alexandra causing Jean to flee the scene. A call to 911 had already been made reporting a fire and sirens were heard in the distance. "Ma'am are you allright?" the man asked kneeling at Alexandra's side to check to see if she was alive, adding, "Hang on. Help is coming." when he found she was. "Look Jessy. Wonder what happened?" Zac asked pointing towards the park with a fire truck, ambulance and three or four police cars. "Can't see Zac the fire truck is in the way. I don't see any smoke though." Jessy said staring out the window as she had been since the left the house searching for Alexandra. "Zac stop." Jessy screamed excitedly. "What Jessy?" Zac asked. "Zac we have to go back to that park. Zac in the parking lot, I think I saw Isaac's car." Jessy gasped as Zac made a few turns and headed back, unable to turn into the park because the police were closing it done to protect the crime scene. "There Zac. It is isn't it?" Jessy asked pointing."You're right." Zac answered looking for a way in. "Zac I'm getting out and going in to see what's up. God let her be watching what is going on too." Jessy said slipping from the car and heading into the park. "Hansons." Diana said answering the phone. "Mom it's Zac. Jessy and I found Isaac's car it's in the parking lot of the park but something has happened and we can't get in." Zac explained. "What do you mean something happened?" Diana asked picking up another line and dialing Isaac's cell number. She listened as Zac explained what they had found. "Wait Mom a policeman is waving me over." Zac said pulling into the park, rolling down his window, "Yes officer." he acknowledged. "Are you a Hanson son?" the officer asked. "Yes sir, Zac Hanson. Why?" Zac asked pulling out his drivers license. "A pretty little blonde told me you would be looking for her. Son are you related to Alexandra Hanson?" the officer asked. "Yes sir. She is my sister-in-law. Married to my oldest brother Isaac why?" Zac asked impatiently. "I hate to inform you but Mrs Hanson was attacked a little while ago here in the park." the office explained. "No. Is she okay?" Zac asked with such desperation picking up the phone. "Mom the officer said Lexy has been attacked." "God no. I can't reach Isaac on his cell. Wait someone's answering." Diana explained. "Hello." a male answered. "Daddy? Daddy is that you. I'm looking for Isaac." Diana replied. "Yes dear it's me. I'm at Isaac and Alexandra's apartment in case she comes home." he explained. "Daddy she's been hurt. I have to reach Isaac." Diana explained and then shared everything Zac had told her. "Dear he's with Walker. Isaac was so upset, he just wouldn't let him go out by himself so they're together. Call Walker's cell." her father suggested, adding, "I'm heading to the hospital. Meet you there." Diana frantically dialed her husband, "Hello." Isaac answered. "Son. I'm so sorry. Isaac she's been hurt. Zac and Jessy found her." Diana choked out then explained what she knew, sending Isaac and Walker on their way to her. Diana then called the rest of the family, calling off the search and they all headed to the hospital. "Here's my grandson now. Isaac. Isaac over here." Grampa Lawyer called out as Isaac entered the emergency room door. "Is she okay?" Isaac asked heading his way. "Mr Hanson I'm Steve Miller, Public Relations. Your Mr Sabec contacted me. Sir this is Dr. Mark Green, head of surgery here at St John's." Isaac heard listening for the words, "She's okay." only. "I asked if she's okay?" Isaac repeated. "Sir she's sustained massive head injuries. Her brain is swelling and we need to alleviate the pressure but she refuses any treatment until she talks to you." Dr Green answered. "Then take me to her." Isaac insisted. "This way. So you are ready for what you will see. Your wife was first pushed backwards causing the head injury but after that she was kicked repeatedly. There is quite a bit of swelling sir." Dr Green said as he ushered him to Alexandra. "Isaac. Thank God you're here. She's in so much pain but won't let them treat her." Jessy gasped racing to him, hugging him tight, adding, "Isaac Lex said she thinks she could be pregnant. That's why she won't let them treat her. She has to know before they do something that hurts the baby." "What? A baby?" Isaac asked totally shocked. "Did you say a baby? Is your wife pregnant Mr Hanson?" Dr Green asked. "I don't know. She doesn't know but it's a possibility." Isaac explained. "That changes everything. Let's find out. Nurse." Dr Green called out as Isaac slowly opened the door, taking in the sight. "Lexy. Oh dear God please let her live. I beg of you, don't take her from me." Isaac prayed making his way to her side. "Lex I'm here. I'm so sorry you got hurt. Lex do you hear me? I love you baby. Lex please don't leave me." Isaac pleaded first taking her hand, pressing his lips to it, before kissing her gently. "Isaac. My head hurts so. Isaac I'm scared. Promise me you won't let them hurt the baby. I mean if I am pregnant. Isaac all the times I've been sick to my stomach, what if it's because I'm pregnant. I don't remember having a period but my head hurts so bad I can't think straight. Promise me you won't let them do anything that will hurt the baby." Alexandra insisted. "I promise Lex but you have to promise me you'll get better. Lex promise you won't leave me." Isaac pleaded leaning down and kissing her belly, "Hey anybody in there?" Isaac teased causing her to laugh. "Owww Isaac it hurts to laugh." Alexandra shared before she gasped, "Maybe that's why my pants don't fit, I'm pregnant not fat." "Could be babe. Wow Lex, a baby." Isaac gasped kissing her belly again before laying his head there. "Could be hun." Alexandra whispered as she gently stroked his head. "Not could be, is. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hanson, you're having a baby. That changes everything. We have to stop the swelling to the brain. We'd like to induce a coma at this time to see if the swelling stops." Dr Green said explaining the medicine used would not hurt the baby and the expected outcome. "Before you do, Isaac I need to see your folks." Alexandra asked. "Sure babe. They're right outside." Isaac answered and stepped to the hall calling his parents. "Sweetie are you okay?" Walker asked. "I will be Daddy. I need you to do something for me?" Alexandra asked. "Anything sweetie, just ask." Walker answered. "I want you to handle the police for Isaac. Isaac I want you to let Daddy decide how to handle things." Alexandra asked. "Why babe?" Isaac asked. "Isaac just do it for me." Alexandra asked. "I guess. Okay Dad will deal with the police so I can take care of you and the baby." Isaac agreed. "Mom. I heard you and your friend this morning. You know, I've decided that it just makes our relationship even more special. You had every reason not to accept me or to believe in us but you did. I heard you say we were a match made in heaven. You're right Mom." Alexandra explained. "Oh Lexy I love you so much for making him happy. A baby. Oh Lexy how wonderful. You and Isaac having a baby. You get better, we need you." Diana said through her tears, as she gently touched her belly. "I will Mom. Promise." Alexandra replied before motioning Walker closer. "Daddy I know the person who hurt me." Alexandra whispered. "What? Who? Lexy who did this to you?" Isaac blurted out. "Isaac ssshhh. My head hurts, whisper." Alexandra scolded. "Sorry babe. Tell me who did this to you?" Isaac asked in a whisper. "Isaac the picture of the girl in your wallet, Jean, she's the one who pushed me. She said she'd take me out of the picture so she could have you back. Isaac she said die bitch right before she started kicking me. She.. she kicked me in the stomach Isaac. If she did anything to the baby, I'll..." Alexandra got out before overcome by tears. "Lex I'm so sorry." Isaac said taking her in his arms. "We'll pray for the baby. You'll see everything will be okay." Diana shared taking Alexandra's hand in hers as she began to pray for the safety of the baby. The nurse entered with the medication to induce the coma. "I love you Lex. Get better. We need you." Isaac insisted watching Alexandra fight the urge to sleep. "I love.." Alexandra said as the drugs took hold and she slipped into a deep sleep.
