Part Nineteen

"Here they come, Hanson." Carson announced as the audience began screaming and clapping. "Alexandra. Alexandra." the audience chanted. "Isaac where is your lovely wife?" carson asked. "She's backstage visiting with friends." Isaac explained. "Yeah we got here just in time. Do you have any idea how many pitstops you make between Tulsa and here if you bring along a very pregnant woman?" Zac teased. "No Zac. How man pitstops do you make between Tulsa and New York with a very pregnant lady?" Carson asked playing along. "Duck!" Taylor screamed then started laughing. "What you laughing about? Do you have any idea what out of control horomones can do?" Isaac asked moving away from Zac and Carson. "You're safe man. She's in the Ladies Room and didn't hear it." Brad shouted sticking his head around the corner. "Brad Pitt. Was that Brad Pitt?" Carson asked totally shocked. "Yeah that's him. You know, the father of Alexandra's Baby." Zac teased with a laugh. "You laugh about it?" Carson asked. "Why not? It's totally ridiculous." Brad answered heading their way. "Brad Pitt everyone." Carson announced as he walked onto the set. "You are cruising for a bruising. You're just lucky she didn't hear you." Brad said putting a headlock on Zac then reaching for Isaac, adding, "Hey man. She's looking good." "Yeah she is, isn't she. Did Jennifer come too?" Isaac asked. "Yeah. You know women, can't go to the bathroom alone." Brad answered and they all chuckled. "So you laugh about the negative press?" Carson asked again. "What else can you do? I what, subject Lexy to more by dignifying their ridiculous accusations?" Isaac answered. "Wow deep subject matter. Gees hun you said you were coming to promote the new release not defend my honor again." Alexandra squealed making her way onto the set, stopping and turning around, adding, "Come on Jenn. I found your hubby." "Hey babe." Brad said hugging Alexandra. "Wrong wife." Isaac teased hugging Jennifer. "Wrong husband." Brad teased. "Oops." the girls squealed making their way to the right spouse. "He's right you are looking good. What is it two months to go?" Carson asked. "Four weeks, five days to be exact." Alexandra answered, adding, "But who's counting? Not me." With that she reached for Isaac's arm turning his watch to her, "Six hours and..." she teased. "So Jennifer how do you feel about the negative press?" Carson asked. "I love it." Jennifer squealed. "You love it?" Carson asked confused. "Yeah. Poor Bradley." Jennifer caressing his, "He is like so worried about how I'd take it. He goes and buys all the roses in town and fills my room. On the mirror he pasted rose petals, spelling out 'I love my wife.'" Jennifer explained. "Oh what a romantic." Alexandra squealed. "Hey I'm romantic too." Isaac pouted. "You most definitely are my Knight in Shining Armor." Alexandra whispered caressing his face before kissing him passionately. "Knight in Shining Armor?" Carson asked. "Oh yes, most definitely and I work him overtime." Alexandra shared turning in Isaac's arm to face him before adding with a chuckle, "He has to defend my honor a lot." "I don't think he minds." Carson replied. "It's what I was meant to do." Isaac added kissing the top of her head, stroking her belly. "So Lex will you make the Oscars?" Carson asked. "Depends on Daddy's baby. Yes we plan on attending but plans may change." Alexandra answered. "What do you think of the new song?" Carson asked. "I'm prejudiced. I think they rock when the sing lulabyes to the baby." Alexandra teased with a giggle, adding, "Seriously the band has evolved. They're so good and I love the new song." "Well you heard it here." Carson exclaimed heading to break. After the show the eight headed out to dinner before the six made the trip back to Tulsa to await the birth of Isaac and Alexandra's child. With the Oscars fast approaching, Alexandra and Isaac made an extra visit to the doctor to make sure everything was still fine before the entire family packed and headed to LA for the big event. "Isaac. Honey I need help." Alexandra called out slipping on her gown. "Man you look fantastic. You look..." Isaac gasped walking into their room stopping dead in his tracks. "What hun? Isaac what's wrong?" Alexandra asked of his staring. "Babe you look hot. How do you do that? Eight months pregnant and you look.." Isaac said making his way to her, taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately as his hands caressed her body. "I love you." Alexandra gasped. "I want you." Isaac moaned kissing her over and over slowly undressing her. "Hey it just took me twenty minutes to get that on and you have it off in two seconds." Alexandra squealed, moaning, "You are good." "I get to love you, it's easy." Isaac whispered kissing her deeply then lifting her and carrying her to the bed. Isaac sat and lowered Alexandra to his lap, continuing to kiss her over and over. They were still making out when the phone rang, "Hello?" Alexandra answered causing Isaac to moan. "Hey Sis. You two ready yet?" Taylor asked. "Ready? Are you kidding. I'm working at it and your brother comes in and takes off everything I managed to get on so now I have to start all over." Alexandra pouted. "Poor.... Hey why you complaining. So the old man has got the hots for you huh?" Taylor asked relaying the information and she heard all the squeals. "Yeah why am I complaining. I can't believe he still wants me. I mean I'm a whale and he.." Alexandra shared as Isaac interrupted. "Lex stop it. You are not a whale, you're not." The disappointment in his voice turned her attention to him. The concern in his eyes touched her, "I just feel... I'm so lucky I found you. I can't imagine how I survived without you. Even though I feel like a whale, when I look at you, I see how much you love me and I feel loved. I'm a loved whale." Alexandra sighed before kissing him devotedly. "Lex you really are beautiful. I wish I could make you feel that way." Isaac argued. "Isaac, Isaac, Isaac. How many times do I have to tell you." Diana moaned taking the phone from Taylor. "Oh no your mother. Sweetie it's for you." Alexandra squealed hearing Diana. "What? No not the mother." Isaac pouted. "Yes the mother. Clarke Isaac Hanson what am I going to do with you?" Diana asked. "Mom. Mom. Just listen. I didn't do anything. I promise." Isaac replied being ignored as, "Isaac how many times do I have to tell you, Alexandra needs her rest." Diana continued. "I know Mom. Please I didn't do that. I promised you I wouldn't and I didn't." Isaac pleaded. "You what?" Alexandra squealed. "What babe?" Isaac asked hoping she'd drop it. "What did you promise your mother?" Alexandra asked. "Lexy, sweetie, it's not like that." Isaac mumbled searching for the right words. "Not like what? Isaac did you promise your mother you wouldn't make love to me or not?" Alexandra asked glaring at him. "Yes. But I didn't mean it Lex." Isaac replied. "What? So you're saying you lied to your own mother? Isaac I don't believe you. Why?" Alexandra gasped. "I don't know what I did." Isaac whispered shaking his head no. "Isaac. Alexandra." Diana called out. "Mom do you have any idea what you've done?" Alexandra asked picking up the phone. "Sweetie I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I just wanted him to understand why you might not want him right now." Diana offered. "What? I might not want him? Now I'm totally confused." Alexandra moaned. "Sweetie you're just getting so uncomfortable is all." Diana replied. "What? How am I suppose to know? You're not even letting me find that out. You've made him afraid to love me Mom. I can't count the number of times we've gotten close and he suddenly remembers a meeting or appointment and just up and leaves. I was so sure he.." Alexandra shared drifting off in thought. "Oh sweetie I'm so sorry." Diana pleaded as Alexandra let the phone drop from her hand. "Mom I gotta go." Isaac said picking up the phone. "Son I'm sorry. Just love her." Diana pleaded. "Lex Mom says I should love you. Can you imagine her telling me to do something I already do. This is about the easiest thing she's ever told me to do." Isaac teased kissing her cheek. "Isaac?" Alexandra asked looking up at him with so many questions in her eyes. "Alexandra Hanson how dare you doubt my love." Isaac gasped. "What? I don't." Alexandra declared, adding, "Isaac I know you love me almost as much as I love you. Almost as much and you love me so much you did this." Alexandra picked up his hand and placed it on their baby. "Alexandra I do love you this much and more." Isaac replied then looking at her puzzled. "What?" Alexandra asked caressing his face, gazing into his warm brown eyes. "Well before babe, what was the question in your eyes?" Isaac asked. "I was just wondering if it was possible or if Mom was right?" Alexandra wondered, looking at him again with all the questions. "Possible? Oh. Ohhhh!" Isaac gasped finally understanding, adding, "Save that wonder. We'll work on an answer later but right now I need you to get dressed." "I guess. Promise?" Alexandra asked. "Promise." Isaac replied helping her back into her dress.
