"It's so good to be home. I'm really tired so I think I'll lay down for a while." Alicia shared as they returned from the hospital. "That's probably for the best. Any pain sweetie?" Grampa Lawyer asked. "A little but not like I thought I would be so I'm okay. I'll just lay down instead of taking anything else okay?" she answered. "Okay. I'll see you later then." he replied and said his goodbyes. Jessy saw her to bed, then called to let them know they were home. "Yeah she's doing pretty good, really glad to be home. Your Dad sure is the greatest." Jessy shared. "Yeah I think so too." Diana replied, adding, "So I take it she's decided not to come here and let me helpl her?" "Don't take it personally Mrs Hanson, it's just, well you see.. I don't know how else to put this but it's Isaac." Jessy answered. "Isaac? But he adores her." Diana replied. "You and I know that but for some reason Alicia thinks it's only because she's hurt. Can you imagine thinking Isaac only cares for her because she's hurt?" Jessy asked, adding, "I never." as she heaved a big sigh. "Well Jessy you know you and I can see it in his face but Alicia can't. She can't see the love in his eyes just at the mention of her name. You know I can understand why she feels this way. I can see why she thinks it's just compassion he's feeling because she can't see the love in his eyes when he looks at her." Diana explained. "I never thought of that. I tried everything to get her to understand, to see the love in his eyes but she can't see." Jessy replied as she understood for the first time. They chatted for awhile unknowing that Isaac had overheard them and was on his way to Alicia. "Hmm I gotta go now because someone is at the door. Isaac!" Jessy exclaimed. "Isaac? No he's in the family rooo.. Oh no he's not. He must have figured out you were home. Well I'll talk to you later. Take good care of them both for me Jessy." Diana asked as she said goodbye. "Isaac come in. She's in taking a nap." Jessy greeted. "I hope you understand I have to see her. I have to know she's okay. I know you and Grampa told me she's fine but I have to see for myself." Isaac insisted. "Yeah I can imagine. Go on in. She misses you. Hasn't slept soundly since she left your arms. Nothing but nightmares." Jessy shared shaking her head no. Isaac made his way to Alicia's side, first just watching her sleep. "I love you Alicia. Don't you know that. When I first laid eyes on you at the party I was a goner. I just about died when Ash introduced us and I realized you were the girl he'd been talking about, the one he said he loved. I told Tay right then if he messed up I didn't care if they were best friends I was going to call you. Well he messed up all right, big time. But Alicia I'm not here because you're hurt and need me. You know, so I can take care of you. I'm here because I'll do anthing to make you love me the way I love you. That's why I'm here helping you get better, because I want to make you love me too." Isaac explained gently stroking her hand. "Really Isaac?" Alicia whispered. "Really Alicia. I thought you were asleep baby?" Isaac replied leaning down and kissing her cheek as she turned towards him. "I was until you came in. I sensed you were here before you said a word. I, I.." Alicia shared with the biggest smile. "You got braces babe. You what?" Isaac asked. "it's only on the top to protect my loose front teeth. They didn't think the nerves were damaged so it should be okay. If it's only one is it still braces or do I wear a brace?" Alicia answered. "Funny babe but you didn't answer my question? You what?" Isaac asked again. "I, oh Isaac I woke up because I suddenly felt safe and I haven't felt that way since I left home. Since I left you." Alicia said moving closer, hugging him, pulling him into her. "I make you feel safe?" Isaac asked. "Yeah you do. Don't know why you just do." Alicia answered kissing his cheek. "You didn't cry." Isaac gasped. "Hey I didn't. Maybe we can..." Alicia tried to answer as Isaac pressed his lips gently and carefully to hers. "Ohhh." Alicia moaned as he wrapped her in his arms pulling her into him. "Isaac." she moaned as his hand caressed her butt pulling her into the hardening bulge in his jeans. "I want you babe, not just to take care of you because you need me. I want you to want me too." Isaac explained as he slowly rubbed up and down against her. "Oh Isaac." she moaned again, whispering, "I do want you. When I first saw you at the party, you know I thought Wow Taylor Hanson, Cool Zac Hanson but when I looked at you, my heart stopped. I swear Isaac I thought I was going to faint right there in the middle of that crowded room. But when I looked into your eyes, I knew why I felt that way. When I saw you, I thought Wow he's so hot. I'd love him to be the father of my children. I was so sure any minute some girl was going to come drape herself all over you and crush my heart. You remember, I just stood there going uh, uh. Thanks for not laughing at me." Alicia shared kissing him sweetly.. "You what? You wanted me?" Isaac gasped. "Duh! You know that because you rejected me. I thought I'd just die when you looked at me like, how dare I. Why Isaac? I about died when you showed up here after he, he..." Alicia stopped in mid sentence as she began to tremble. "Don't do this baby. Please Alicia I love you don't let this happen. Stay with me. Don't let it take you away from me." Isaac said over and over. "He hurt me Isaac. Why did he hurt me?" she cried clinging to him. "I don't know babe. I'll never undertand. You know when you wouldn't let me come to the hospital, I thought about him. I just can't imagine anyone doing such a thing Alicia. I mean the more I thought about it, I mean, man I barfed just thinking about him lifting a hand to you. I'll never understand." he replied kissing the top of her head and stroking her long brown hair. "I really don't believe this. You know when I decided I didn't want to die, I worried how I would ever trust again. I didn't figure on God sending me you." Alicia confessed. "Hey that my line. You know, I didn't figure on God sending me you. I'm so glad he did." Isaac replied kissing her deeply and passionately. "Wow after all the years of braces I now know what it's like kissing someone with braces. It's a god thing I got mine off or we could be having some definite problems." Isaac shared. "So being stuck to me is a definite problem huh?" Alicia teased. "I'll stick to you." Isaac declared climbing on top of her, pinning her to the bed and kissing her passionately. "Oh no." Alicia blurted out pushing him away. "What babe? Alicia what is it?" Isaac asked again and again. "Oh my God Isaac." Alicia said shaking her head no. "Baby come on this is killing me. Tell me what you're feeling or thinking. Please babe." Isaac begged. The concern in his voice sent her mind reeling. As Isaac pleaded again, "Isaac I passed out from the pain and I don't know. I mean I would know right? DId he say anything? I don't know Isaac. Please God I couldn't handle this." Alicia pleaded. "You'd know what babe? DId he say what?" Isaac asked, adding, "Alicia you can tell me anything babe. I love you, it will be all right." "Oh Isaac. I believe you. Isaac I don't know if he, you know, if why I was passed out, if he, God I pray not. He definitely isn't the one. Nope. Not him. I haven't saved myself for the likes of him. Never. Not him." Alicia mumbled noticeably agitated. "Babe I'm still in the dark here." Isaac pleaded to know. "Did Ash say anything about raping me that night? I would know wouldn't I. I don't remember it and I woke with all my clothes on. I don't know. Please no." Alicia pleaded, adding, "Nah can't be. It's impossible. I would know. Right?" The silence was deafening. All she could think was that he was repulsed at the thought of her not being a virgin anymore and wanted nothing to do with her. "I don't know. I would know. I'd have to know. I'd know. I don't remember." Alicia mumbled as she began to panic, adding in a whisper, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." With that she rose quickly and made her way out of the room, down the hall. At the front door she slipped on a pair of running shoes and she was out the door before anyone realized what she was doing. Isaac and Zac took out after her and Jessy hopped in her truck and headed after them. When she caught up with the guys, they hopped in and were soon chasing after her. "Sis can run. That's why I didn't bother to take chase on foot." Jessy said, adding, "She can't see good out of the one eye, why is she doing this?" Both Zac and Jessy stared at Isaac waiting for an answer and finally, "She's worried Ash may have raped her that night. I mean one minute we were celebrating the fact she could kiss me without crying out in pain and I guess I got a little carried away. When she wondered about us, it dawned on her that maybe Ash had while she was unconscious." Isaac confessed. "No." Jessy screamed. "That's sick. Beat her senseless then hop her dying bones. Noone's that sick." Zac insisted, adding, "Baby you okay. Jessy he couldn't have. He's not that sick." "But Zac you told me at first you didn't think he beat her. You said he couldn't be that sick. Remember?" Jessy asked finding it hard to drive, her concentration shot. "There she is." Isaac shouted out finally spying Alicia. "Man she's gone four miles already." Zac said as Jessy slowed for the the light, watching Alicia change her direction to avoide the light. "Man it's a one way street." Jessy complained. "Baby let me drive. I know where I am at least." Zac asked. "Please Zac, I can't do this." Jessy said throwing the truck into park at the red light and quickly slipping onto Zac's lap then lifting up as Zac slid into the driver's seat. "Buckle up babe." Zac said as the light changed and he raced ahead and was soon headed to find Alicia. "There she goes." Jessy said pointing in her direction as Zac got over and turned to follow her. "What is she the Energizer Bunny?" Zac asked looking at the odometer, adding, "She's run eight miles now and she's not tiring. Hey we can cut her off on the other side of the park." Zac suggested as Alicia headed into a park and Zac raced ahead quickly pulling into the other end of the park. "Well she's got to come out on one of these three trails. Let's each take one." Isaac said and they split up. "Here she comes." Jessy hollered taking off, catching up with her. As she neared, Alicia recognized her and changed directions soon running into Zac with Jessy closing in on her. "Please stop Alicia." Zac asked and she changed directions yet again, running right into Isaac. "Babe please stop. Alicia you're right, something like that you'd know and you don't so he couldn't have." Isaac said as she neared. "Promise Isaac." Alicia pleaded as she finally stopped, gazing at him waiting for his answer. "Yeah babe. I promise everything will be okay. Somehow I'll make it all okay." Isaac answered wrapping her in his arms, adding, "Walk with me before your muscle get even with you for that eight mile run you just gave them." The two headed off arm in arm as Jessy headed for a swingset in the distance. "You okay Jessy?" Zac asked taking the swing next to hers. "I guess. What's next? Zac will this ever stop. It seems like one thing after another, you know. First she didn't die, next she might not be blind, and she might not lose her front teeth. Now this." Jessy answered. "Jessy do you think she'd know. I mean she was unconscious." Zac asked. "I don't know. I guess you would. I mean he could have put her clothes back but they'd be other signs and if he as drunk enough to beat the crap out of her, there's no way in hell he'd bother to put her clothes back on. I mean Zac do you think you'd get turned on by a lifeless body. Could anyone be that hard up that they'd screw a lifeless body." Jessy asked jumping from her swing, heading towards a merry-go-round. She sat and started walking in circles soon joined by Zac, who started pushing her. As she passed him, "Nah Jessy I can't imagine anyone getting turned on by a lifeless body but I couldn't imagine Ash beating her the way he did." Zac admitted. "Yeah me neither." Jessy said laying back looking at the sky. "Look Zac that cloud is shapped like a rabbit." Jessy exclaimed. "Where? I don't see it Jessy." Zac declared looking upward. As she circled back around to him, she scooted forward and wrapped her legs around him, stopping the merry-go-round. "There Zac." Jessy said pointing up. "Still don't see it." Zac admitted. "And the say I'm blonde." Jessy teased scooting closer to him, "Right there Zac." Jessy insisted wrapping her ams around him, placing a hand on each side of his head and guiding him. "Now I see it. Pretty demented looking rabbit Jessy." Zac teased. "Well if you'd seen it before the cloud shifted, you would have seen a cute little bunny instead of a bunny on steroids." Jessy answered and they both laughed as Zac lightly caressed her hand. "See that one, it looks like a dinosaur." Zac shared. "Yeah Zac. Cool." Jessy said laying back down and she smiled as Zac did the same and they continued cloud watching. "How you feeling babe?" Isaac asked as they made their way around the park. "I'm better. Isaac I'm sorry I ran. I just couldn't handle it." Alicia admitted. "Handle what? The thought of Ash raping you?" Isaac asked. "Yeah. No. I mean if he did it would be terrible but I couldn't handle the thought of you thinking, I mean what if you.. God I still can't handle this." Alicia said stopping and changing directions, walking away looking at the ground. "Don't do this to us. Please Alicia stop. Tell me what if I what? Id' think of you how?" Isaac pleaded for her to stop, adding a final, "Please Alicia. Stop and talk to me." The desperation in his voice stopped her in her tracks and she made her way back to him. "I'm sorry. For us, okay?" she agreed hugging him. "Babe you know I wouldn't think less of you if he did. God how could you think I'd blame you. And don't you dare think of blaming yourself. You've done nothing wrong Alicia. I guess if it did happen, we'll deal with it when we know. I'm here for you babe." Isaac said holding her close to him, kissing the top of her head. "Isaac I love you so much for helping me through all this. I couldn't make it without you." Alicia confessed kissing him deeply, her hands caressing his body, first his butt then his chest. "Yep I was waiting for you to realize you love me too." Isaac answered kissing her back then holding her close. They made their way back and joined Jessy and Zac, "Alicia is hungry. Let's head for ice cream and get her a shake." Isaac suggested. "Mmm. Hey why don't we call Chele and Tay." Jessy suggested and Zac produce a cell phone and dialed the house, making plans for them to meet.
