Where's the Love
Part 3
"You'll never guess who called me." Liv teased. "You know I hate guessing games." Chele replied. "Oh come on. Guess." Liv pleaded. "Let's see..." Chele pondered before guessing, "Isaac Hanson." "How'd you know that? I thought you said you hated guessing games. Why? You're good." Liv shared. "No Way." Chele gasped. "Yes Way. Called all the Green's and finally tried the ones ending in e and found me." Liv replied. "What did he want? Oh God tell me he asked you out." Chele squealed. "Okay I'm God now because Isaac Hanson asked me to go to lunch. In about three hours, I'll be eating lunch with him. Guess what elese?" Liv shared. "What there's more? How can there be more?" Chele asked. "How about Taylor Hanson wanting to double date. Isaac and me, Taylor and you." Liv answered. "Nah." Chele moaned shaking her head. "Guess what else?" Liv asked. "Please don't tell me Zac wants Jessy to come. She hasn't stopped grumbling yet. She's either calling him a JackAss or Asshole every other second then after she does she cries, "How could Zac Hanson be a JackAss." Chele shared. "Oh oh. I thought she said it was an accident her getting hit in the face like that?" Liv asked. "Oh she does. She doesn't blame him at all for the smack in the face. It's what he said. She just can't get over that." Chele answered in a whisper as Jessy entered the room. "Why you whispering? Oh, did someone enter the room?" Liv asked. "Got it. I better go. I'll call you about this latter." Chele replied. "Wait. Taylor wanted to ask you himself but I said I didn't know if I should give out your number, even to Taylor Hanson. I said I like her and I don't want her mad at me. Taylor asked that I give you his number and ask you to call him." Liv explained giving her the number. "Got it. Okay I'll call him soon." Chele said hanging up and turning to her sister, asking, "Any better spirits this morning?" "I'm doing fine until I realize Zac Hanson is a jerk and then no I'm not fine." Jessy grumbled making her way to the kitchen opening the refrigerator, mumbling, "Nothing to eat." "Yeah we still need to go to the store. Ummm maybe this is a good time to ask, how about lunch with Hanson?" Chele asked then ducked behind the couch. "What?" Jessy squealed turning back and not seeing her, adding, "Where'd you go chicken?" She burst out laughing as the little flag waved from behind the couch. "It's suppose to be a white flag, not an American flag." Jessy choked out. "I couldn't find anything white. I'm wearing blue underwear and bra." Chele squealed. "So they call or something?" Jessy said grabbing the orange juice and pouring hersef and her sister a glass before popping bread into the toaster. Over toast and juice Chele explained the call to Liv and the lunch invitation. "You go. I'm still angry and I don't want to hate Zac Hanson. I may just say something I'll regret latter." Jessy shared. "Oh Jessy you said you knew he didn't mean it." Chele argued. "Yeah he didn't mean to hit me but I'm not sure about the rude comment. I mean it is so totally against everything I ever thought Hanson was. I still can't believe he said it much less meant it." Jessy sighed as Chele picked up the phone and dialed Taylor's number. "Hello." Taylor answered. "Taylor?" Chele asked. "Yeah." Taylor replied. "Tay this is Chele. Liv gave me your number and asked that I call you." Chele said. "You called. Man I was worried you wouldn't." Taylor replied. "And have a gazillion Taylor Hanson fans hunt me down for not doing what you asked. Do I look crazy to you?" Chele teased. "Oh they wouldn't hurt you too bad." Taylor teased back. "Yeah only make my life miserable." Chele replied with a chuckle. "How's Jessy this morning? Is her nose okay? Zac sure is beating himself up over this. You know..." Taylor said pausing. "Know what Taylor?" Chele asked. "I was just thinking that I don't remember anything that's bothered Zac like Jessy not liking him. I mean he's a real basket case. Goes around moaning "She hates me. I know she hates me" until you want to smack him up side the head." Taylor shared. "That bad huh? Well you have a moaner and I have a grumbler. "I can't believe he said that" she grumbles and then pisses herself off all over again." Chele shared. "That bad huh?" Taylor teased before seriously asking, "Do you think she'll ever forgive him?" "She hasn't grumbled in a couple of minutes so why don't I ask her. Better yet you ask her." Chele said handing the phone to her sister explaining, "Taylor wants to ask you something." "Yes Taylor." Jessy reluctantly said. "Hey Jessy. I hope today is going better than last night. Jessy you have to know I honestly believe that Zac is so sorry. You know you opened all of our eyes last night. We weren't raised that way Jessy. I guess we just got lazy. We know better than to talk about someone that way. Jessy even Zac knows there is more to a person than looks." Taylor explained. "Why does he have to know the right thing to say? How can I be angry when he admits they were wrong?" Jessy thought to herself trying so hard to remain angry. "Jessy are you still there?" Taylor asked the silence. "Uhhh yeah Taylor I'm here. I was just grumbling to myself over what you said. You know it's like totally impossible to be angry now." Jessy replied. "Good that's what I was trying for." Taylor said proud of himself, adding, "So do you think you'll ever be able to forgive Zac? He really is sorry Jessy. You know I think for the first time it really matters to him that someone doesn't like him." "Forgive him? For what? He didn't mean to hit me Taylor, I'm not mad about that. Well maybe that I got blood on my new outfit but not at Zac. Now his rude comment...." Jessy said pausing trying to figure out if she should share. "Jessy what about his rude comment that he shouldn't have made?"" Taylor asked. "Tay swear you won't tell Zac?" Jessy asked. "I swear Jessy. You know I was as guilty as Zac. You just don't care about what I said as much as what Zac said." Taylor answered. "Tay." Jessy said then took a big breath before finishing, "It's wasn't what he said so much as the fact that it was him. I mean I've heard that one so many times. Even had guys pretend, you knowing holding their breath and all. Man some of them have even collapsed to the floor." Jessy shared with a chuckle. "You're kidding me?" Taylor asked with a chuckle. "No I'm serious." Jessy choked out before she remembered they were talking about Zac Hanson, someone she admired for years, asking in such a serious tone, "Tay?" "What is it Jessy?" Taylor asked concerned over the change in her tone. "Tay it doesn't matter right? You know that I have or don't have.." Jessy tried to ask but suddenly became reluctant. "God no Jessy. Don't feel that way. This is what we've done isn't it? We didn't mean to honest. I'm so sorry." Taylor apologized after realizing the extent of what they'd done. "Yeah." Jessy mumbled as she wondered if it all boiled down to how she looked. "Oh Jessy I'm so sorry. I didn't realize." Taylor sighed. "Here Sis I gotta go." Jessy said tossing the phone her way before bolting for the bathroom. "Wait Jessy." Taylor called out. "Sorry Tay. She's in the bathroom already." Chele explained. "I never got to ask her if she'd go to lunch." Taylor shared. "You want me to go get her. Taylor I really don't think she had to... I think she just had to get away from thinking about what happened. She acts tuff Tay but this has really hurt her." Chele explained. "No don't bother her again. Maybe with a little time." Taylor answered before asking, "Chele would you join me for lunch? I would understand if you'd rather not but I truly would like the chance to get to know you better." "I'd like the chance to get to know you too Taylor. I'm just not sure about Sis though, maybe I shouldn't." Chele answered as Jessy stood at the end of the hall listening. "Maybe you shouldn't what because of me?" Jessy asked making her pressence known. "You're back. Umm I was wondering if I should go if you aren't." Chele answered. "Oh Sis this is stupid. I can stay alone, I'm a big girl." Jessy teased. "I wish you'd go. Jessy you know it was just a dumb remark. Zac Hanson would be that mean." Chele insisted. "If you say so. Umm I've got like this major pain. I think I'll get an ice bag and try to sleep it off." Jessy replied lightly stroking her nose before heading to the freezer for an ice bag. "No way am I leaving you now." Chele argued. "Sis I won't sleep if you're here. I just think if I rest I can get rid of it without taking pills okay?" Jessy pleaded. "I'm not sure. I don't like the idea of you being alone. What if it is something worse?" Chele asked. "I'm not sick to my stomach or anything. I think it's just from the swelling you know. How long you going for anyway? If it's like three, four hours that would be about what I should sleep because I didn't sleep well last night. You can like check on me when you get back. Actually wake me when you get back otherwise I'll never sleep tonight." Jessy suggested. "You sure?" Chele asked hearing Taylor calling to her. "Yes I'm sure. It's really bad Sis. I hear Taylor Hanson calling out your name." Jessy teased. "Oops I forgot about him." Chele squealed making her way back to the phone, apologizing, "Taylor I'm so sorry. I was so worried about Sis that..." "I heard Chele. I like it that you care about your sister. I was thinking you could leave Jessy my number so if she needs anything, or maybe if she changes her mind she could just call." Taylor suggested. "That's a great idea Tay. I think I'll do just that. Well I better get ready. I'll meet you at Liv's then?" Chele asked and they finalized plans.
