The alarm went off at 5am and Jessy was up raring to go. "Chele c'mon, it's time to get up. Come on Sis today's the biggest day in our lives, how can you sleep?" Jessy asked. "Oh Jessy it's 5am, that's how I can sleep." Chele moaned and rolled over. "Fine, I'll call Zac's Dad, he'll come get me and you can stay here and sleep all day." Jessy said getting up from the sleeping bag on the floor and reaching for the phone next to Chele's bed. "Okay you win, I'm getting up." Chele said and headed for the shower. "What you going to wear today. I know what we're wearing tonight, but I didn't plan on the whole day with Hanson, just with other Hanson fans." Jessy asked. "I didn't think about it either." Chele answered. "Your turn. Don't fret so. I don't think it matters what you way. Zac's still going to stare." Chele teased. "You're so funny, Not!" Jessy said heading in for a quick shower. She was out drying her hair in no time, "I know what I'm wearing!" Jessy yelled out to Chele. "Chele don't you care?" Jessy asked as she ran the brush through her hair one last time. "Chele?" Jessy said heading into the room. "Wake up and stay up Sis!?" Jessy pleaded. "Huh? Oh you didn't say I had to stay up. You know I hate mornings." Chele griped. "Fine don't do this morning. But from what I read in the rule book, you don't do morning you don't get noon, or night." Jessy teased and headed to her bag and pulled out what she had decided to wear. She pulled on her panties, dropped the towel and slid on her bra. "I'll just go wake up Shane and have him drive me over. You go back to sleep." Jessy said slipping into her jeans then pulling on her b.u.m. sleeveless hoode top. Jessy grabbed her black boots from the box and sat to put her socks and boots on. "Now to pack" Jessy said loudly. "I get the hint." Chele grumbled, got up and moved to the dresser to dress. Jessy made her bed and grabbed her backpack and took out what she wouldn't need and packed her clothes in it. "Happy, I'm ready to go." Chele asked. "Yes, I'm happy. Let's go." The girls motored over to White's Water. "Five minutes early. Way to go Chele." Jessy yelled as they pulled in the parking lot. "Hey girls." Walker said walking to the car. "Morning" Jessy said kissing him on the cheek and giving him a hug. "Morning Jessy" he said kissing her on the forehead, adding "Zac's up. Go on in. Tay's up too but he's still in the shower." "Morning" Chele said hugging him adding. "I'm following you over, then you don't have to worry how we're getting back." "You don't have to drive. I promised the guys." he said. "Dad you let Tay keep me company on the way over and you hired yourself a driver." Chele offered. "Hired." he said hugging her again then heading after Jessy. Jessy entered the bus and saw Zac sitting at the table. "Morning" she said slipping her arms around him, hugging him. "Hey Jessy. How can you look that good. You got less sleep than I did?" Zac asked pulling her onto his lap. "Let's see, I got up, took a shower, put on clothes and then remembered I was going to spend the day with you. That's my secret." Jessy shared. "Hey Zac." Chele said. "Hey Chele, he's probably asleep in the shower." he added as she sat across from him. "Want me dry your hair?" Jessy offered. "Yeah. I'll go get.." Jessy kissed him, "I know where it is, I'll go get it. Your brush there too. We didn't borrow that last night." she asked. "Yeah." he answered. Jessy walked to his bunk and grabbed the dryer and brush out of the cubby. She strightened his bed and returned. "Did you just make my bed too?" he asked bending to plug the dryer in under the table. "Yep, made Chele's this morning too, so she's going to go make Tay's." Jessy answered. "Geez, I thought it was a vacation, you don't make beds on vacation, maid service does." Chele grumbled as Jessy turned on the dryer and aimed it at her, before turning and drying Zac's hair. "Done." Jessy said kissing the top of his head. "Looks nice Zac." Chele said. Zac got up and headed to the back and Jessy laid the dryer and hairbrush down "Looks great Jessy. Hey will you do it for me before the show." Zac said wrapping her in his arms. "Depends on what you'll give me for it?" Jessy teased. "Money, how much you want." Zac said. "Don't you know money can't buy everything." Jessy said. "How about this." Zac said and he kissed her, softly and gently. "Whoa, much better, that might get you something though." Jessy said and Chele burst into laughter. "What's so funny?? Chele that's a dirty laugh, get your mind out of the gutter and tell me what you're laughing at." Jessy asked as Chele laughed red faced. "Your dirty minded girl friend is making fun of me." Jessy told Tay. "Dirty minded this morning huh?" Tay asked slipping his arms around Chele. "I'm so bad." Chele said caressing his arms."What you laughing at?" Tay asked. "I can't say Tay, it's bad. I'm so bad. Bad Chele." Chele said. "Come here." Tay said lifting her to her feet and turning her to face him. "Must be bad, you've embarassed yourself." he said kissing her cheek. "Ummm warm cheek." Tay said hugging her. "Why you having dirty thoughts this morning? What'd you dream last night?" Tay whispered into her ear. "I dreamed about you." Chele whispered and hugged him tight. "Hair looks nice Zac. What'd you do different?" Tay asked. "I got me a girlfriend." Zac smiled and hugged Jessy. "So I'm a girlfriend, I've never been one of those before. Is it hard work?" Jessy asked. "Sometimes, depends on your boss." Chele said. "I'd suggest you ask about the job perks before you accept Jessy." Tay said. "This sounds complicated. I don't know." Jessy said shaking her head. "Don't listen to them. It's not a job. It's just what you are because I really, really like you lots, more than anybody else in the world. That's all." Zac said . "That's not all." Tay said. "If that's all then Jessy just got 10 boyfriends yesterday and it would have been more if I hadn't hid her in Treasure Island for like almost four hours. Those 10 boys liked her more than anybody else too. Geez, a couple of them said out of this world, that's more than just the world." Chele said. "She's right Zac, Jessy can't be your girlfriend unless she likes you back the same way. More than anybody else, man. That's a lot to hope for Zac. Jessy's a knock out man, there's probably guys falling all over her every where she goes, I bet." Tay said. "It was sad. I felt so bad for those poor saps. One right after the other. Lined up around the park, to get their poor hearts broken." Chele said and Tay comforted her and they headed to the back of the bus. "Zac is that true what Tay said about I'm not your girlfriend unless I like you like you like me, more than anybody else?" Jessy asked. "Jessy that don't matter, just say you'll be my girlfriend." Zac said. "Zac it does too matter and you know it does? And if it doesn't it should. Tell me the truth Zac, does it matter?" Jessy said. "I don't want to talk about it anymore. You hungry?" Zac said. "No, I mean yes, but it's more important for you to answer me, than it is to eat right now. Zac please tell me that it matters how I feel, Don't I matter?" Jessy asked. "Of course you matter, you're all that matters to me." Zac said. "Than why don't you want to know how I feel if I matter so much?" Jessy asked. "I don't want to know that you don't feel that same way I do." Zac said. "Have done or said anything that would make you think that I don't." Jessy asked. "No, No you didn't." Zac said. "Jessy I like you more than anyone else, do you like me?" Zac asked. "Zac I liked you more than anybody else for years and now that I finally met you, I like you even more than that. Yes, Zac Hanson I'll be your girlfriend, will you be my boyfriend?" Jessy asked. "You bet. Then were like going steady already." Zac said. "Boy honey I don't think that one will make it too far up the charts." Jessy teased. "Funny Jessy, Hey Tay a new song,We're like going Steady Already. Don't you think it'll go to number 1." Zac asked. "What are you talking about?" Tay asked leading Chele back. "We're like going Steady, Already and Jessy says it won't make it up the charts." Zac said. "For real." Chele asked. "Yep sis, for real. Chele I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Zac Hanson. Zac this is my Sister Chele." Jessy said. "Hey sis." Zac said kissing and hugging Chele. "Jessy this is is my older brother Taylor, Tay this is my girlfriend Jessy." Zac said. "Way to go bro." Tay said high fiving then hugging Zac. "Sis I'm so happy. I can't believe it. The look on Zac's face, I didn't think he'd ever risk it after what I said." Chele whispered to Jessy. "Yeah, why did you say that?" she asked. "Oh Jessy, men are such jealous creatures. I didn't want problems for you later, because Zac never faced the truth. His girlfriend is a Hottie." Chele whispered and hugged Jessy. "Oh I know." Zac said and headed to his bunk, searched for something then headed to the back closet. "I'm hungry anybody want pancakes?" Jessy asked. "Sure." Tay said. "I know you'll eat my pancakes especially smiley face pancakes." Jessy said heading to the back. "Zac I'm making pancakes, that okay by you." Jessy asked. "Uh Huh" is all he mubled. "Zac Hanson what on earth are you looking for?" Mom asked. "Mom I can't find my black case, you see it?" Zac asked. "It's on the dresser, remember." she answered. "Yes, you're the greatest." Zac said. "Jessy what we making?" "Morning Mom, pancakes." she answered hugging her. "Good choice, everyone likes pancakes. I'll cook some sausage for the boys. I've got a bag of oranges around here some where, we'll section some for the kids." Mom said. "Where's Zoe? I expected her to be up by now." Jessy asked. "She was about 5a and I didn't get her back to sleep until about 6a. She probably won't sleep longer." Mom said. "Jessy here will you wear this as a going steady ring?" Zac asked, adding, "Please, it would mean so much to me." Jessy was shocked and when she saw the shock on his Mom's face that turned into the warmest smile with a single tear making it's way down her face when she looked at Jessy and nodded yes. "Zac it looks so special, are you sure honey? I'd be happy with a ring from a cracker jack box. But yes, I''d love to wear it. I'll treasure it like you have." Jessy said and Zac slipped the ring on her finger. "Too big. I've got a chain. Wait." Zac said and went to the back room again and returned and placed the chain around her neck, then kissed her neck. "Now you look official." Zac said smiling. "Mom this is my girlfriend, Jessy. Jessy my Mom." Zac said. "Mom this is my boyfriend Zac. Zac this our Mom." Jessy said. "Oh this is so precious. I'm so happy for both of you." Mom said hugging them both. "Zac, Mom says there's a bag of oranges around, have you seen it?" Jessy asked. "Yeah, in the closet." Zac said retrieving the bag. "Just where I keep mine . No wonder I couldn't find them." Jessy laughed. "Help me cut some up while Mom gets the saugsage cooking for you." Jessy said and the two headed to the sink."Your griddle awaits you. Time for making pancakes, I'll finish this." Mom said trading places with Jessy. "Zac Hanson you make sure you tell her how special that ring is before someone else does." Mom said and sent him on his way. "So you like to cook?" Zac asked. "Not as much of some things but I enjoy it. Do you cook?" Jessy asked. "Basics, Mom wants to know that we don't have to come home to eat after we finally move out I think." Zac said. "You're so funny. I love that you can make me laugh." Jessy shared. "Jessy that ring is special, you were right. That ring is the one my Mom bought for her Mom on the next Mother's Day after I was born. Mom gave them to us after she died and said she prayed that someday we would find somebody special that would treasure our past. and dream of our future, and love us as we are now. I guess I should have told you before you said you would wear it. I'll understand if you don't want to now, but you're that special to me." Zac said. "Zac you're that special to me too. And you touch my ring and try to exchange it, I'll scream." Jessy said hugging Zac. "Find me something to put pancakes on so I can keep them in the oven and keep them warm." Jessy asked. "How we doing?" Mom asked. "Need something to eat off of, and someone to eat them." Jessy said. "Zac go wake everyone please. Taylor?" Mom said. "Yes Mom?" Tay answered. "Could you put up the card tables and chairs, it's time to eat." she asked. "Jessy we serve them here. Can you take this to Walker and bring back his coffee cup to refill?" Mom asked and Jessy made her way to the front of the bus. "Hey daddy, mom said if you give me your cup, she'll refill it for you, fresh pot of coffee." Jessy said placing his plate on the tray to his left. "Here you go and thanks Jessy." he said. Breakfast was over in minutes and the bustle of cleaning up and people getting dressed filled the time. "Jessy are you going to dry my hair too?" Ike asked. "Sure. Can't have you thinking I love one of you more than the others." Jessy answered. "What? You do. Me. And I say so." Zac said. "Oh how could I forget that." Jessy said noticing Chele and Tay sitting on the couch lost in each other's eyes. Jessy finished Ike's hair. "You were my challenge. I like it.Go see." Jessy said kissing him on the forehead. "Ike is this dryer yours?" Jessy asked. "No Zac's." he answered and Jessy headed to put it away. "Jessy please say you'll fix my hair for the show. This is the best it's ever looked." Ike said hugging her. "Dad put Jessy on the payroll as our personal groomer look at us." Ike said grabbing Zac and Tay and pushing them towards the front. "Such a big smile we have." Jessy said sliding in next to Chele. "Ohh still warm." Jessy said wiggling into the warmth. "He smells good too." Jessy said. "Jessy you have your own." Chele said. "Just an observation Chele, chill." Jessy said getting up, adding, "You're like Jekyll and Hyde. Excuse me for thinking I wanted to know what was going on in your life." She said as Tay and Zac returned. "Sis I didn't mean it like that." Chele said as Jessy pulled away and headed to the back. "Jessy don't be that way." Chele said. "I'm going to go lie down before I say something, I may regret later. Oh go for it, I see you smiling and I want to share. I sit down and comment that it's still warm and because I've been up since 5am, made 2 beds I didn't sleep in, dryed 3 heads of hair, helped make breakfast for 11, cleaned up afterwards, I wriggle into the warmth, and I make the comment that whatever Tay wears, it smells good, You tell me I've got my own. I can see where you would think I was after Tay, how brazen can I be. I should be so ashamed of myself, my own sister's boyfriend, when I just got one of my own. How can I be this way." Jessy said and headed to the back, crawling into Zac's bunk. "Chele honey what was that about." Taylor said sitting and taking Chele in her arms. "Oh Tay I did I snapped at her. I don't know why. How could I do that to her, she's my sister?" Chele creid. "Chele don't cry baby, you know I hate it when you cry. It drives me crazy to think you hurt bad enough to cry. I'm sure Jessy knows you love her, your each other's only sister." Tay said holding Chele while nodding at Zac to go take care of Jessy. Jessy felt someone crawling in the bunk, "Leave me alone." she whispered. "Me too." Zac asked. "No not you. Oh Zac." Jessy cried. "What did I do to make her so mad at me?" Jessy asked between sobs. "Nothing, you didn't do anything. Don't blame yourself. You're both tired, maybe that's all it is. Why don't you rest." Zac said stroking her hair. "Zac I don't think of Tay that way." Jessy said. "I know that , he's your brother." Zac said. "Uh huh? him and Ike and Mackie." Jessy mumbled falling asleep. A few minutes later Zac slipped out of the bunk and headed back up front. "She's asleep. She wants to know what she did to make you so mad at her. She's not sure if it's because she made you get up, she suggested you make Tay's bed, she made breakfast, she cleaned up, she blow dryed Tay's hair, or just the fact she exists is the reason." Zac said sitting at the table as the bus pulled into the stadium parking lot.
