Diana and the kids were escorted to the dressing room, "You know the routine ma'am, you don't open the door for anyone except your husband, the boys or myself. I have to get to the boys, police are surrounding the arena as we speak." Jason said heading to the stage as Diana locked the door, the girls busied the younger kids with a game of I Spy putting smiles on everyone's faces, but the looks between Diana, Jessy and Chele, expressed the fear of the situation on the other side of the locked door. Diana moved to the answer the knock on the door, "Mom it's us." Isaac said and Diana opened the door. Chele and Jessy each made a beeline to the guys, hugging and kissing each of them along with Diana as Walker arrived, explaining what was happening out front, "We have to go. Sis where's you Emergence ID?" Jessy asked heading to her backpack, taking off her jacket and then clipping on her EMS Technician identification badge, her red cross volunteer, CPR technician, and Certified First Aid technician identifcation badges. "Mine are in the bus." Chele answered. "Here wear these." Jessy said pulling off a couple of hers as she raided the first aid kit. "How many first aid kits in the buses Daddy?" Jessy asked and Walker opened the door finding a police officer and sending him to the buses retrieving the first aid kits and Chele's identification while he made arrangements for Jason to go with the girls. "Jessy, Chele, I'm so proud of both of you. It's such a good thing you're doing." Diana said hugging the girls. "Mom it's what we were trained to do. How can we not help." Chele explained putting on her own identification badges, "Girls I'm so proud of you both but please promise you'll be careful. Jason is going with you to keep an eye out or you stay until I know things are under control." Walker said. "Come on big guy, we have work to do and the three headed to the stage, finding utter chaos. Jessy waived at the control booth, pointing at Ike's mic, "Hello. Hey listen up. Mmmbop." Jessy screamed into the mic popping her 'p' and their was silence. "Hey everybody, we're here to help but we can't do it without your help. Everyone who is okay, please step to the back of the arena and take a seat please. Those of you with just bumps, bruises or nerves frayed, please back up to the begin of the second section and take a seat. Those of you with scratches, small cuts please take a seat at the back of the first section. Those of you with more serious cuts, sprains or breaks to the first rows, we'll be with you as soon as we tend to those who are unconscious or unable to move because of serious breaks." Jessy explained. "Heads up anyone who has medical or first aid training, please line up hear and show you identification to this big guy right her and he'll let you know what to do." Chele said surveying the results of Jessy's sorting of the crowd as Jessy hopped down from the stage grabbing a first aid kit and making her way to the more seriously hurt, tending to the unconscious, immobilizing broken limbs as Chele joined her and the made their way through the most seriously injured and were working their way through the first rows, bandaging wounds and immobilizing sprains or slight breaks, "Help. Daddy. Daddy." they heard and looked in the direction of the screams. "Sis possible heart attack." Chele shouted racing to the middle age man collapsed on the floor by the screaming girls. Jessy made her way to her as Chele assessed the situation, "No pulse. Airway cleared, beginning CPR." Chele announced breathing into the victim and starting chest compressions as Jessy arrived, checking for a pulse, breathing into the victim, working with Chele. "Don't you die on me. Breathe." Chele ordered, as Jessy breathed then checking for a pulse as Chele continued chest compression. "I have a pusle, breathing on his own. You did it Sis." Jessy congratulated hearing an ambulance in the distance. As the ambulance parked Jessy whistled loudly, waving her arms, "Heart attack. Got him breathing again, move it. Need two backboards up front." Jessy hollered at the next ambulance and soon the seriously injured were being transported and more and more help arrived. "Hey big guy, I need you to talk to Daddy for me. Things are still really wound out here, ask him if the guys could come back out and do something from the acoustical set to help calm things down." Jessy asked and Jason was on his way as she returned to tend to more wounds. "Jessy. Sweetie the guys are setting up. This is a great idea Jessy." Walker said. "Daddy we can't have them going home terrified and if they're fans like me, the guys' music has such a calming affect on me. I got more wounds to wrap, we're almost through them and can deal with the emotional problems." Jessy explained heading back to work. As the girls moved among those without physical wounds, holding hands, hugging and just listening, the guys stepped center stage singing 'With You In Your Dreams' and a sigh came from all over the arena. "Hey Sis dig the threads." Jessy said as Chele appeared in hospital scrubs. "Let's grab a drink." Chele said heading to the Red Cross table grabbing a couple of juices, "Talk embarassing, here I am up to my elbows wrapping wounds and this tech comes up to me, 'Miss please sit and relax, I'll take care of you, you have blood everywhere.' I go like read the badge pal and get out of my way so I can get back to work and he points out the blood on my pants. I had totally forgotten Sis but let me tell you those EMS trucks are really fitted out, he had pads, panties, scrubs and even managed to get the blood out of my white pants, can you believe it." Chele explained and they sat among the fans, sharing their love of the greatest band something they all had in common. As the guys began 'Mmmbop' the audience joined in filling the arena with the song, erasing all the pain and bad memories. "Miss Chele, Miss Jessy I was sent to bring you back to the Mrs. She needs to see for herself that all her children are okay." Jason informed and they headed back stage. "Oh my poor babies. Come on into the shower. There's a change of clothes for each of you." Diana ordered. "You're an angel Mom. Thanks." Chele said kissing her cheek. "No you two are the angels, Walker told me how proud he was looking out at the two of you tending to the hurt fans. Then sending for the guys to help calm things down, girls you're both so caring. Your parents should be proud, we are." Diana replied as the three hugged. Jessy was in and out of the shower, as Chele moaned her relief as she stepped into the shower. "I'm heading out Sis." Jessy said after drying her hair. "Jessy, you were great. Man I heard you two saved a guys life, brought him back to life." Zac asked. "That was sis. Man she screamed at that sucker to breathe, she wasn't about to lose her first patient. It worked." Jessy explained cuddling in his arms. "Hungry baby?" Zac asked. "Yeah I am, you on the menu?" Jessy whispered in his ear before nibbling on it and wrapping her arms around her neck. "Yeah Mom she's hungry." Zac relayed. "Walker what was the name of that pizza place down the street?" Diana asked ordering pizza to be delivered. Taylor waited at the bathroom door for Chele, "There you are baby. Man you're awesome, I saw you working the fans, calming them, taking care of their wounds. Man you went out there and made something good out of a tragedy. Sis said you were a real LifeSaver that the one dude was dead until you saved him. You're really something baby." Taylor said wrapping her in his arms and kissing her deeply. Pizza was delivered and the family joined hands praying for those who were hurt and their family during this trying time. "Family. I have to call home, they'll flip if they hear about this." Jessy gasped. "Momma I'm all right. Sis and I put all our training to good work though. You know I hate these machines, talk to you later." Jessy recorded and dialed her grandmother's. "Gramma it's me. I tried calling Momma but got the machine. You'll never guess who I met." Jessy said. "You met Hanson." Gramma replied. "How'd you know. Yeah I met Hanson, Zac Hanson. He's so nice Gramma, nicer than you said he would be. He is so hot." Jessy squealed. "Down girl." Gramma teased. "Oh okay I'll behave. Umm I'm with him and his family now." Jessy shared explaining what had happened earlier and that she was staying with Zac's family. "Gramma I now Momma and the boys are still in the boonies with Uncle John and the Trekkers recreating the Louis Clark Expedition, I was wondering if I could travel with the Hansons. They're headed to Ohio and then Toronto and Detroit and they'll drop me off at home in three weeks, about the time Momma will be back. I was staying with Sis, this week and you the next two so could I just stay with them?" Jessy pleaded. "Jessy this is hard to believe girl." Gramma said. "Gramma, then talk to his Mom she wouldn't lie to you." Jessy said handing the phone to Diana and they came to agreement that Jessy would travel with the Hansons. Jessy turned to have Chele call home and found her asleep in Taylor's arms so she dialed the number. "Hey big brother you watching TV?" Jessy asked. "Yeah lil sis why." Shane asked. "Well if you watch the news there probably will be a piece on a riot at the concert we went to but Sis and I are fine, we weren't in any danger, Hanson's bodyguard got us out and after Sis and I played Florence Nightingale. Sis saved this dude. I couldn't believe it, she was awesome. Refused to let that sucker die, told him he wasn't ruining her record." Jessy shared. "Sis is a hero. Wow impressive." Shane answered. "Shane, Mom and Dad up?" Jessy asked and spoke with Donna explaining what had happened Mom. "I guess I just don't want to shuffle around right now, Sis has to work and then band camp and yeah I can go to Gramma's early but I feel safe with the Hansons, they're really nice people, and they lived it I don't have to explain anything." Jessy explained why she wasn't returning home with Sis. "She's asleep Momma Donna. Man she was awesome. Sis is still my hero." Jessy shared. "Awww Sis you're my inspiration, I say what would my lil sis think and somehow I can do anything." Chele mumbled as she awoke and then spoke with her mother while Jessy curled up in Zac's lap eating a little pizza before nodding off. The family watched the newscast, "Oh my god." Chele gasped as they interviewed the family of the heart attack victim, hearing their gratitude as they referred to her as an 'Angel of Mercy'. They talked another hour before Isaac carried Avie, Walker carried Mackie and Diana carried Zoe to the bus putting them to bed as Zac laid Jessy down on one of the couches and placed a blanket over her before heading in to take a shower and dressing for bed. "What do you think you're doing?" Chele asked Zac as he crawled in next to Jessy. "Going to bed, why?" Zac answered wrapping his arms around Jessy. "Zac?" Jessy moaned. "Yeah baby, go back to sleep." Zac whispered. "Hold me?" Jessy mumbled. "Sure baby. Sssh go back to sleep." Zac whispered. "Got a problem with it now?" Zac asked. "No Zac. Thanks for loving her." Chele whispered back as Taylor entered the room. "Got a problem with what baby?" he asked sitting next to Chele. "Your lil brother loving my lil sister and no I don't have a problem with it." Chele answered, adding, "You look beat Taybear." Chele sat behind him and began massaging his nec and shoulders as Taylor moaned deeply. "Taylor you're totally stressed out babe. What's wrong?" Chele asked. "I don't want you to go home. Please baby you have to stay with me?" Taylor pleaded. "Taylor we already went over this and you know there is no way I can right now. It's not that I don't want to TayBear, I want nothing more than to stay with you, get to know you, give us a chance but I have committments too." Chele answered as Taylor knelt in front of her. "What am I going to do without you? I know everything I need to know, I love you Chele. Please believe me." Taylor pleaded laying his head in her lap. "Oh Taybear I believe you think you love me. Hey I'm adorable and you're my Taybear. What am I going to do without you? Tay I really have to go to band camp it's my last year. Taylor would you take me to the prom?" Chele asked. "Wow. Sure baby, I'd love to take you. What else we going to do?" Taylor asked. "What? You mean like Homecoming, Winter Carnival and that kind of stuff." Chele asked and the two planned their senior year. The next morning Taylor drove Chele home as Isaac followed to pick up Jessy's things and bring Taylor back. Jessy traveled with the family and soon was thought of as a member of the family. She was a right hand for Diana, doting over the younger siblings and always helping with the household chores. Her picture appeared constantly in magazines, her with the kids, her in Zac's arms, her with his folks and by the time they made it to Michigan, Jessy was getting a taste of life as a Hanson and had begun hiding from the press. One afternoon, Zac in hat and shades and Jessy in a short red wig to conceal their identity, the two had tried to make it to an arcade in a local mall to have some fun, Zac was found out and the two were hounded and Jessy was separated from Zac somehow and panicked when she was surrounded by screaming fans. "Stop. Stop pushing and screaming." Jessy screamed back at them to no avail. "Zac." Jessy gasped collapsing into his arms as he brought Mall Security to their aid and they were escorted to a taxi returning them to the family. "We can't even go out." Zac grumbled. "It's okay Zac, we can go home and play video games together." Jessy said hugging him tight. "Still scared?" Zac asked. "I was fine until that person played Red Rover and won. I was so scared, they just kept screaming and moving in closer. Then you were there, my white knight. Thanks Zac." Jessy said climbing into his lap, kissing him deeply. "Jessy don't let them come between us. Try for me." Zac pleaded. "Who? The press, fans? Zac that's not going to happen. I love and trust you Zac, as long as I'm with you, we're okay, nothing can come between us as long as we have each other." Jessy replied resting her head in his chest as he wrapped her in his arms, "I love you too Jessy." Zac confessed kissing her deeply. "Zac I know you love me, it's the one thing I'm sure of hun." Jessy replied cuddling into his arms kissing him tenderly. "You'll probably be glad to get back home now." Zac mumbled not wanting to hear the answer. "Zac don't feel that way, I'm so scared about leaving you." Jessy said burying her face in Zac's chest. "Scared? Why babe?" Zac asked puzzled. "How am I going to survive without you Zac." Jessy gasped as she started to cry. "Baby what's wrong?" Zac asked, rocking her slowly. "Zac for the past three weeks, I've been with you 24/7. When I wake up in the morning I can see you, if I have a bad dream, I can break the rules and crawl in bed with you to be held, before I go to bed, you're there to kiss me goodnight and tuck me in. Zac I don't know how I'll ever survive." Jessy whimpered. "Yeah babe, I feel the same way. My heart is going to break when I have to leave you." Zac confessed leaning his head on top of hers as they arrived at the arena and Jessy dug their passes out of her bag and took off the red wig, unpinning her hair. "We'll get out here driver." Zac announced getting out and taking Jessy's hand, "Walk with me baby?" he asked. "Sure hun. I love walking by you side." Jessy replied and the two headed to the arena and when they heard the fans calling to them, "Your public awaits Zac." Jessy teased and the two walked over to the fence and autographed for the fans. "Here hun sign this." Jessy said handing Zac a picture of the two of them with Jessy's signature on her image. Zac took the picture, "Turn around babe I need something to write on." Zac asked and then handed the picture back to her "Oh Zac. I love you too." Jessy declared wrapping her arms around him, kissing him deeply and the fans went crazy cheering for them. "Oh you guys don't even know what you're clapping about. Look what he did." Jessy said turning the picture around and everyone ahhhhh'd at their signatures, 'Forever Jessy and Zac Hanson, I give you my word, Love Zac'. Jessy ran for another picture of the two of them and they signed it for the fan before heading in to the family. Jessy's last concert with the family was memorable, the fans chanting for her until she was convinced to stand and wave to the fans when Zac admitted his love for her. The next morning the bus was headed to Jessy's house but as the neared more and more carloads of fans we surrounding the bus. "Momma it's me. We are totally surrounded by fans." Jessy explained. "You. Girl they have been camped out here since late last night. The police have been out here every hour to clear the roads and they still come. Jessy this is impossible let me speak with Walker." Barbara asked and arranged for Jessy to stay with them until she could figure something else out. "Sorry about all this Barbara, it's overwhelming to say the least." Walker ended the conversation and then turned to Jessy. "Sweetie welcome to the family. You're staying with us until your mother can find a more secure place to live." he explained. "Yes!" Zac screamed as Jessy gazed out the window as the passed the exit before hers, her exit, the corn fields surrounding her house, the exit after her where her school was. "Baby are you okay?" Zac asked wrapping his arms around her. "Not now hun, everythings fine as long as I'm with you." Jessy replied wrapping her arms around his neck, "You're my LifeSaver." she whispered in his ear.
