Diana and Jessy headed to the kitchen table. Jessy sat and placed Zoe on her lap. Zoe played with Jessy's Hanson bar necklace. "Jessy I'm really impressed with you. It's hard to believe you're only 13. Lord you act more mature than Taylor and Isaac." Diana said. "Like I said, I'm the only girl in my family. What other choice do I have but be the mature one. Besides, girls always have their heads on straight. I think it must be in the genes." Jessy explained. "I haven't talked to Walker yet, but I sure want you to come to work for us. What do you think." Diana said. "I'm sure I can handle the younger ones. They seem like awfully nice kids and this one, has me wrapped around her little finger already. I guess my only problem is the older guys, I'm not sure if I can handle the fact that I have been a majorly obsessed Hanson Fan. I think I was one of the original Scream Squad. I managed to get to two of their concerts and screamed so loud I didn't talk for the week after. You have no idea how much fun it is to be a fan. I've met so many good friends over a shared obsession. I have sort of adopted one of them as my sister since I don't have any of my own. Chele and I have gotten so close. We spend a couple weeks together each year. She's moved here somewhere but I haven't heard from her and she has no idea I finally talked Mom into moving here too. She's going to freak. If I can only find. See what I mean, I don't know if I can handle the older guys. I've talked non-stop just mentioning Hanson. My obsession just takes control." Jessy finally finished. "You do get excited don't you. But Jessy I don't see a problem, like you said you have your head on straight. I hope you find your sister Chele. Did you think to ask the guys. They keep pretty good tabs on the neighborhood. I could call them." Diana offered. "That would be great." Jessy said. Diana got up and moved to the stairs, "Isaac, Taylor, Zac could you come here a minute please?" Diana turned back to find Jessy and Zoe dancing. She was taken by the sight and just watched as her three sons joined her, all watching Jessy and Zoe. Jessy had Zoe laughing and as she twirled, she noticed her audience and the dancing stopped. Jessy shook her head, then smiled "This living with so many people in one house. How do you handle it Zoe. Everywhere you look, people looking at you." Jessy joked with Zoe to cover her embarassment. "We didn't mean to stare, but it was such a heart warming sight Jessy. Zoe really likes you a lot." Diana explained. "Well I like her too." Jessy said hugging Zoe and Zoe squealed in delight. "Boys, Jessy is looking for another girl who has just moved into the neighborhood. She'd like to find her. Jessy can tell you more." Diana explained and they all sat at the table. "Her name is Chele and she would have moved in around the same time I did, during the last three or four days. She's 16, long blonde hair, brown eyes, she's about 5'6 and I think she's pretty but I'm partial, she's my sister, well in our dreams were sisters. Neither of us have one so we decided we're sisters. Chele lives with her Mom and Dad, and older brother Shane. he's two years older than you Ike." Jessy explained. "I think I have picture." Jessy said rushing to her backpack. Jessy pulled out a mini-photo album and started flipping through it. "Yeah, here we are." Jessy said turning the photo towards the guys. "Where did you get Hanson boxers? They don't make them." Taylor asked. "I know you didn't want them made, so we had to make them ourselves. Last year when you didn't tour, we were majorly bored and we held a "Hanson Summer Camp" it was one of the activities." Jessy answered. "Why didn't we get invited to camp?" Zac asked. "Get real, it was girls only. And you're not a girl. I don't care what the Hanson Haters say" Jessy replied. "I think I've seen her Jessy." Taylor said. "I think you're right Taylor. If you put clothes on her, I think that's the girl you had me going around the block so you could get a better look." Isaac added. "Hey you're right. If you imagine her with clothes on, that's the girl." Zac finished. "You do know your sons well. Your mom said you keep close tabs on the neighborhood." Jessy said adding. "Could you tell me where to find her, she will freak when she finds out I've moved here too." "Sure, it's not far, we could walk." Isaac said. "I bladed over here, I left them outside, we could blade to Chele's." Jessy suggested. "Then it's settled, Jessy the boys will take you over to see if it's Chele and they'll bring you or you and your friend back, that will give me time to talk to Walker about my decision to hire you." Diana said and the guys headed to the garage to get their roller blades on. "Zoe, I'm going to go away for a little while but I'll come back to see you soon, okay?" Jessy explained and put Zoe down. Jessy made her way to the front door grabbing her backback after she slipped her sandals in it. She turned back as she opened the door and waved bye to Zoe who waved back. Jessy sat on the front step and put her blades back on. As she was fastening the last of the buckles, she notice a pair of roller blades stopping in front of her. When Jessy was done and looked up, Zac said "Ready to go?" and he held out his hand to help her to her feet. "Thanks" Jessy said taking his hand and they skated off joining up with Ike and Tay. "She's not far from here, if it's her." Tay said taking the lead. "You skate pretty good for a girl." Zac said. "Zac Hanson you're rude." Jessy said and skated off to join Taylor. She heard Zac talking to Ike behind them explaining what he had said. She heard Ike suggest he apologize but didn't think he would. "Jessy it's about another block, you okay?" Taylor asked. "Sure, I blade a lot. Can't drive, well I drive really good, but I'm not old enough to get a license is all. Transportation of the young, blades." Jessy answered and they laughed together. "Oh my god it's mom's car. Chele." Jessy screamed. "Chele" she screamed once more as her Mom stepped out the door. "My God Jessy, what on earth are you doing her. It really is you." Jenna said racing to the sidewalk grabbing Jessy and hugging her. "Mom where's Chele." Jessy asked looking at the house. "Honey, she just left with her dad. They went to check out Shane's dorm room." Jenna explained. "Mom, I'm sorry this is Isaac, Taylor and Zac. You know Hanson. The cause of all the screaming for the past few years. Guys this is my other Mom, Jenna. Everybody calls her Mom." Jessy explained. "Mom we moved out here too. The day Chele wrote and said you guys were packed and moving, my Mom came home from another trip to the Friend of the Court and threw her hands up and said, No More of this S H I T, we're moving pack, take only what you want the rest she'll have cleaned out, and we rented a U Haul and hit the road. Headed out here blind, not knowing where we were going except to Tulsa, preferably Northwest to be near you." Jessy finally finished. "God child, you and your sister, non-stop talkers. I swear you don't even breath at times." Jenna teased. "Tell you what, everyone come on in, I just baked a chocolate cake because Chele was so bummed about Jessy not coming until next week. You guys like chocolate cake?" Jenna asked. "Yes ma'am" all three said and they sat on the step to take off their blades. Jessy opted not to put on her sandals seeings the guys had to go sock footed. As soon as they were in the door, "Where's my room?" Jessy asked. "Up the stairs, left and second on the right." Jenna answered. "I'm going to go see, you guys wanna come?" Jessy asked heading up the stairs. When she got to the top of the stairs and turned left, she looked to see Zac following her up the stairs and Ike, grabbing Tay's arm at the bottom of the stairs and talking to him. "One, two is Mine. Kool. Mom I love it." Jessy screamed as she entered the blue room. "Yes" she said spinning circles in the center of the room. She stopped to face Zac. "Nice room." Zac said. "Thanks." Jessy said. "Jessy?" Zac asked. "Yes Zac." Jessy answered. "I didn't mean what I said, or not the way I said it." Zac tried to explain. "What did you mean? Jessy asked. "I only meant you skate good. I shouldn't have said for a girl. You're right that was rude. I don't blame you if you don't want to talk to me but I just wanted you to know I didn't mean the way it came out is all." Zac said turning to leave. "Zac, thanks for apologizing. That couldn't have been easy. I know I don't like to. It's awfully easy to put your foot in your mouth, but sometimes it's so hard to get out." Jessy said. "You're easy to talk to. uh." Zac said. "You wanted to say for a girl didn't you?" Jessy asked. "I almost did than I figure you forgave me once I better not push it." Zac said. "It's okay to say sometimes, Zac, we are different. But I really get sensitive about the stereo types, you're a girl so you can't play sports, should wear a dress, can't be strong, all those." Jessy said. "Now the ones like girls are smarter, live longer, those I like." Jessy laughed. "You really are easy to talk to for a girl. Usually I feel so uncomfortable. But not now." Zac said. "What a nice thing to say, thanks." Jessy said kissing his cheek. "Oh my god I can't believe I did that, I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking except that was a nice thing to say and it was sweet of you to say something so nice. But still I don't normally do something like that, I'm so embarassed." Jessy said her face turning red as she tried to cover her face with her hands. "Jessy it's okay. I liked it." Zac said.
