The five made good time, blading back to the guys' house. In the garage it was a race between Jessy and Zac to see who could get out of their blades and back into their shoes, as the other three just shook their heads. "Beat you." Zac declared. "Oh you didn't tie your boots, you'll fall on your face that way. Here I'll do it." Jessy said tying his boots together. "Got you now." Jessy said racing to the back door, "Come on Sis I want you to meet their Mom, she's really cool, just like ours. How she manages with so many boys, I don't know." Jessy said. "Jessy you cheated." Zac complained. "Oh poor baby." Chele said making her way past him to Jessy's out stretched hand. "Hey Mrs. Hanson, I'm back and it was her. This is Chele, my sister. I don't care what our Moms say somehow we're sisters. She is in my heart and that's all that matters. Chele this is the guys' Mom." Jessy introduced and added, "Look at Zoe, Walking real cool their girl. Can you dance yet? I'll teach you, got to be able to groove to the music." Jessy said picking up Zoe and dancing. "Chele was it. I'm glad Jessy found you. She's much happier than when she left, you can see it in her eyes." Diana said. "I don't think I get all the credit for that. You son put most of that twinkle in her eyes." Chele said. "Zac, the little devil. I saw him looking at her but I never thought he'd have the nerve to act on it." Diana shared. "Well it's kind of hard to resist Jessy, she has one of those personalities, everyone is attracted to her." Chele said proudly. "I see you think a lot of your sister. So does my baby, that's why I'm hiring her. My husband and I haven't a night out since she was born. Tried a million sitters, she hated everyone of them. Haven't finished one dinner without being tracked down, Zoe has cried herself sick, so we return home." Diana said. "Jessy is great with kids. She'll be a great Mom some day. Oh, I'm sorry I guess that's an opinion you could have done without." Chele exclaimed. "No I agree with you. She is great Mom material. Now what about you. You just moved in the neighborhood too she tells me." Diana said as the two moved back to the kitchen and Chele helped her make supper while they talked. "So there you are. The girls skate faster? You three still have school work to finish, Chele agreed to help me with dinner so you're off the hook. Get your school work done." Diana said looking back at Chele when she noticed the look in Tay's eyes. In the family room Jessy had Jessie, Avie, Mackie, and Zoe dancing. "You just leave her alone and go do you school work, Zac." Diana scolded. Jessy heard the warning and looked to find Zac staring, she smiled and continued dancing with the kids. Jessy grabbed her the Live CD from her player and programmed Shake Your Tail Feather "This is how they danced when your mommy was a girl." Jessy explained and caught Diana's attention so she stopped to watch as Walker returned. She shared what Jessy had said. "Mother I think she knows all those steps even the Tony Maronny, she's good. Not a bad tail feather either." Walker said. "Walker Hanson she's just a child." Diana complained. Chele spotted the guys sitting on the stairs watching too. When the song ended the kids squealed with delight. Jessy turned off the music and grabbed a book and read to them. "Mother I'd be honored if you'd joined me for our first night out on the town, just the two of us. Make up for the missed anniversaries, birthdays our little Zoe cried through." Walker said kissing his wife's hand. "I'd love to. Let me ask Jessy. Oh Walker this is Chele, Jessy's sister, the one who just moved into the neighborhood. Chele will explain it." Diana said heading to the family room to ask Jessy. "Fine by me, let me call my mom and make sure though." Jessy answered her question and picked up the phone. Jessy joined them in the kitchen, "You're one lucky man. A hot date with the prettiest woman in Tulsa. I told Mom about Zoe and she said to tell you to close the joint down and take her to breakfast before you bring her home. She said it's okay for me to spend the night so you don't have to worry about keeping me out too late. She's packing me a bag and dropping it by, she wants to see her other daughter. I can sack out on the couch, sleep with the girls, anything is fine with me except sleeping outside with mesquittos. They like the way I taste too much. Remember Chele." Jessy informed them and Chele told about their camping fiasco last summer. "I don't think there was anything that didn't have a bite on it. She soaked in the tub all day with this concoction my mom made up. It worked but was she ever wrinkly looking the rest of the day. Like one of the Sharpei dogs, the one with all the wrinkles." Chele finished. "You two girls are definitely free spirits. It's so refreshing. It's been along time since I've met one. No wonder you swear your sisters. I agree you must be." Walker said hugging them both. Chele looked to the stairs and saw Taylor and Zac watching again. Chele offered to finish dinner while they got ready for their big date and Jessy returned to reading the story. "Chele you're more than welcome to stay for dinner." Diana offered. "Thanks maybe some other time, I sort of accepted dinner and a movie with this really cool guy I just met. Our first date of many I hope." Chele smiled knowing he was still watching. Diana moved past her to stir a pot and glanced hoping she'd see her son on the stairs. She smiled as she caught sight of Tay, shaking her head yes Walker called their favorite restaurant and made reservations for 7, giving them two hours to get through everything and get dressed. "Taylor if your work is done, please go finish the story Jessy is reading so I can show her the house besides Zoe's room." Diana asked and Taylor headed to the family room. "Tay said you wanted to show me the ropes." Jessy said. "Heres the number of the restaurant. I'm not sure what else we'll do." Walker fretted. "Mr. H do you have a cell phone you can take with you? If so just leave me that number than you two are free to do whatever. You know free spirits." Jessy suggested. "Smart girl too." Walker said. Diana took Jessy by the hand "She's mine now. You help Chele with dinner." Diana and Jessy headed up the stairs. "This is Ike, Tay, and Zac's room enter at your own risk. I gave up on them, they're responsible for cleaning it. I apologize." Diana said coming to the open door. "I have four brothers remember, at least the odor hasn't made out here." Jessy said. Diana finished the tour, laying out everyone's pajamas and tell her expected bed times. The tour ended in Diana and Walker's room. "Jessy did I see something between Chele and Tay, is Tay the really cool guy she is going out with?" Diana asked. "Yes but don't blame Taylor for not saying anything, I've sort of occupied all your time since we got back." Jessy answered. "No I'm not upset. I'm actually glad about it. I think they're meant for each other. Just like you and my Zac. Not pressuring you girls. But I think you've moved her as an answer to my prayers, but someone is missing. We'll just have to pray again for that someone special for my Isaac." Diana said. "That's what Taylor said and Chele has this friend, they're going to talk about it tonight." Jessy told her, adding "It couldn't hurt to ask the big guy though." Jessy said kneeling at their bed and Diana joined her. As they got Diana kissed Jessy's cheek, "You I like." she said. "So what are we wearing to knock the socks off the old man." Jessy said walking towards the closet. "Wow, this is pretty. So simple, but sexy." Jessy said pulling out a blue, wrap dress with plunging neckline. "You know the minute Walker asked me I thought about that dress. I'm wearing it." Diana said pulling out one of Walker's nicer suits and laying it on the bed. "Now your hair. Would you let me french braid the top, say to here and let the rest cascade down natural." Jessy said pulling her hair up away from her face. "I'm sold." Diana said. "We have to do your nails, you have a mother's hand but we can fix that. Do you have fake nails or should I have mom . That's it!" Jessy said grabbing the phone calling her mom to bring her make up case and nail case. "Yes, caught her in time. Your husband doesn't stand a chance." Jessy said. "You my lady to the tub. Don't worry about a thing outside this room either." Jessy ordered and headed back down stairs. "Isaac I need you to do something for me." Jessy said and whispered to him. "Sure Jessy. It's a nice idea. I'm on my way." Ike said and headed out the door. "Chele, I know you and Tay are going out but can you hang around until I help his mom with her nails, and hair." Jessy asked. "Sure it sounds like you to are up to something can I help?" Chele said. "I think I have everything, Mom's bringing my makeup and nail case, she's got a knock out dress. I'm going to french braid the top section of her hair, put on fake nails, her's are like non existent, a little powder and shiny lips. She'll knock his socks off." Jessy said. "Oh yeah, I just sent Ike to get a corsage for his dad to give her." Jessy finished. "You got it covered, my little romantic." Chele said hugging her and she made her way to the family room to tell Taylor. "This is awfully nice of you Jessy. My folks haven't had a night alone in quite a while." Tay said holding Chele's hand. "Thanks for agreeing to help out." Jessy said as Ike returned with the corsage. "Great choice, it's just perfect. Thanks." Jessy said as Zac finally joined them. "Did you get your school work done." Jessy asked. "I hate science." Zac said "I like science, what are you studying?" Jessy asked. "Fossils." Zac said. "Cool. You can really have fun searching for them. I'll help you if you want." Jessy said. "You would." Zac asked. "Sure. There's probably some great spots we can explore around here. Besides you'll be helping me learn about where I've moved to." Jessy said. "Deal you help me and I'll show you around." Zac said. "Deal" Jessy smiled. "Dinner's ready." Chele said. "I'll get the kids cleaned up." Jessy said as Tay and Chele sat the table. "I'll help Jessy." Zac said following her to the family room and they rounded up the kids and headed to the bathroom washing faces and hands. "Watch that one Jessy, she hates her face and hands washed." Zac warned about Zoe. "Here baby." Jessy said picking up Zoe and placing her on the vanity. Jessy got her hand wet and added a little soap. "Can I have your hand?" Jessy asked extending her wet hand. "Oh thanks that's so nice of you. Can I have the other one too?" Jessy asked and cleaned both of her hands, rinsing hers adding more water to Zoe's and they clapped their hands spraying water and Zoe laughed. Jessy took the wash cloth, wetted it, wrung it out, "Do you think I could wash your face?" Jessy asked and Zoe stuck her face out to be washed. "Thank you." Jessy said glaring at Zac. "Honest Jessy, I've never seen this before." Zac said. "Mom and Dad won't believe it, no one will you just tell them." Zac exclaimed. "Sure Zac. Whatever you say." Jessy laughed and they headed to the kitchen. "Where's your dad?" Jessy asked putting Zoe in her high chair and putting on her bib. "He went to clean the van Jessy." Ike answered. The door bell rang and Zac went to answer, "Come on in. Jessy your Mom's here." Zac said leading her mother to the kitchen. "Hey Mom, this is Zac, Ike, Zoe, Mackie, Jessie, Avie, Taylor and this is Chele." Jessy said as Chele rushed to hug Mom. "Thanks for bringing my stuff. Chele let her breathe. You'd think you hadn't seen her in say a year." Jessy teased and took her cases to the stairs. "Chele I love you baby, but the boys are at home timing me, I promised I'd take them to the new Jackie Chan movie and they'll be calling here if I don't head out. Come along it will give me something to do." Mom asked. "I can't Mom I already have a date." Chele said. Mom whispered in her ear. Chele shook her head yes. Mom smiled and kissed her. "Now I've got my cellular if you need me, even with the bigger kids." Mom glared at Zac. "You have a nice time on your date. You tell him for me, if he makes you cry, his ass is mine. Don't forget to mention my power lifting trophies. It always works. Jessy will never have a second date. I display them right by the door. Bye my girls." Mom said and headed out. "I'll eat later, I'm going to see if your Mom's out of the tub so I can do her nails and hair." Jessy said heading up the stairs. "Great you're out. Mr H. went to clean the van. Why don't we move to the girls room to finish dressing you so he can get ready when he gets back and we can still surprise him." Jessy suggested and the two moved everything to the girls room. Diana went back and laid out her husbands clothes and left him a note. Jessy and Diana laughed and joked all the while, getting to know each out quite well. "Man I think I've told you stuff I haven't even shared with Chele. You sure are easy to talk to. Time for the dress and we'll be done." Jessy said and Diana slipped it on. "Wow. You look great. It's hard to believe you've had seven kids. I hope I can keep my shape like you have. You're an inspiration." Jessy said. "Jessy you're a magician, I do look great." Diana said. "I'll go see what's up with your date be right back." Jessy said dashing down the stairs. "Wow you look handsome. She's ready too. Ike can you get a camera or two." Jessy asked rushing back up the stairs. "I see why you married him. He looks so handsome waiting for you" Jessy said. "Jessy I've got butterflies." Diana confessed. "Cool. After all these years. It's nice to it's possible to keep love alive." Jessy said cleaning up their mess. "You ready, I know he is." Jessy said extending her hand. They made their way to the first landing. "Let me make sure Ike found a camera." Jessy said looking around the corner. "Yep their ready. Have fun." Jessy said kissing her on the cheek and heading down the stairs. "She's worth the wait." Jessy said as Diana came down the last flight and all the kids fussed over how beautiful she looked. Walker met her at the bottom and handed her the corsage to her amazement. "Not that I'm trying to rid of you guys, but if you don't go, you're going to miss your reservation." Jessy said and they were off. "Ike can you drive Chele home so she can get ready for her date?" Jessy asked. "Sure Jessy, you kind of hard to say no to after what you just did." Ike said and he took Chele home. "You go get ready, she won't wait forever." Jessy told Taylor. "Oh my what a mess, did you get any in you?" Jessy asked Zoe getting her more spaghetti. Jessy started cleaning up and than sat down to eat with Zac, Jessie, Avie, Mackie and kept her distance from Zoe the messy eater. As she finished she cleaned up more and put the left overs away. The phone rang and Zac answered, "Jessy it's Chele." Zac said. "Hey Sis what's up? Oh, okay? No that's fine. No he hasn't come back down yet. Oh was I wrong. He's...Yes he is. Are you wearing that outfit you bought last time we shopped, if not put it on now. Have a good time. Love ya. Bye." Jessy said and hung up the phone. "You look nice Taylor." Jessy said turning and heading back to the kitchen. "Zac I guess Ike's friend lives down the block from Chele and they bumped into each other. So they're going to hangout for a while." Jessy shared as she finished cleaning the kitchen. "Now you messy baby, you're mine." Jessy said taking off her bib. "At least one spot is clean. Jessie, Avie, Mackie bath time. Everybody upstairs. You guys get cleaned and in your pajamas and your Mom left a movie you can watch." Jessy said. "Me too Jessy" Zac asked laughing. "You're so funny. Of course you too." Jessy said and Zac's eyes got big. "Just kidding Zac. You can decided for yourself when you put your jammies on." Jessy teased. "I don't wear them. How about you?" Zac asked. "No I wear boxers and a tank top. How about you?" Jessy asked. "What you doing with boxers, you're a .. Oh I ain't going there. You can wear whatever you want to bed. I'll even give you a pair." Zac said. "Oh, do I get to choose?" Jessy said. "Jessy!" Zac said. "What you started it, smart ass!" Jessy said heading up the stairs with Zoe. She used their folks' bathroom and when through, Zoe wrapped in a towels, Jessy made the rounds to make sure the rest of the kids were doing okay. "Mackie. You doing okay in there? Almost done?" Jessy asked. "Yeah Lady me almost done." Mackie answere. "Did I tell you the movie is "Men In Black" Mackie?" Jessy asked. "Me Done." Mackie declared coming out the door in a towel and running to his room to get his pajamas one. Jessy cleaned up the bathroom and headed to Zoe's room dressed her and went to check on the girls again. "Did you clean up your bathroom or do I need to." Jessy asked. "I think we did." Jessie said so Jessy checked and tidied up. "Yep you did. Let's go, movie time. Mackie's already down there." Jessy said and they raced down the stairs. Mackie and the girls sat on the couch and Zac sat in a recliner, manning the remote. Jessy opted for a rocking chair and rocked Zoe. After Zoe fell asleep, Jessy took her up to bed. When she got back down, she headed back up with Mackie. As she returned, "I'm beat you girls better not fall asleep." Jessy said collapsing on the couch between the girls and they all giggled. Avie started nodding off so Jessy asked her to go up to bed. "Will you come with me?" Avie asked. "Of course I will. Let's go." Jessy said extending her hand and they headed up the stairs hand in hand. Jessy was still tucking Avie in bed when Jessie appeared. "You girls have sweet dreams. I'll see you in the morning." Jessy said and made her way back down stairs. "Zac do you want something to drink, I'm going after something?" Jessy asked. "I'll come with you." Zac said hitting pause and following Jessy to the kitchen. Zac stared at Jessy bent over looking in the fridge. Jessy grabbed a Dr. Pepper, "Zac what do you want? Zac?" Jessy turned her head to see Zac staring at her rear end. Jessy waved her hand behind her butt waiting for Zac to notice. Zac's face turned red. "Zac I asked what do you want?" Jessy said. "Dr. Pepper is fine." Zac said and Jessy grabbed another. "Zac don't be embarassed." Jessy said handing his pop. "I stared at your butt too. You just didn't notice, but your Mom did. I wanted to die. She was cool about it though." Jessy said. "My Mom saw you staring at me?" Zac asked. "She said you'd been checking me out too." Jessy said. "So she caught me too?" Zac said. "Your Mom is pretty sharp, she even asked me about Chele and Tay." Jessy said. "So was she mad?" Zac said. "No Zac, not mad, not upset, she was cool with it all. Can you rewind the movie I'd like to see it all without missing sections?" Jessy asked. "Sure Jessy. Let's go." Zac said putting his hand out to Jessy. Jessy slipped her hand in his and he lead her to the family room, grabbed the remote, led her to the couch and sat down, still holding her hand.
