Jessy was busy the rest of the day with laundry and helping with the kids. It was lunch before she new it. Mom was busy with Zac and his problem with Science, so Jessy fixed macaroni and cheese, peaches, and chicken nuggets. As lunch was almost finished, she sat the table and then found the family. "Mom, Zac lunch is ready if you can take a break. Oh mom, I asked Chele and Ash to stay seeings they're both still here." Jessy said and headed back to the kitchen. She checked faces and hands and got Jessie, Avie, Mackie and Zoe a plate and they started to eat. Chele, Tay and Ash came upstairs and Jessy fixed them plates. She was about to fix her own and sit down, when she noticed Mom and Zac coming. "Mom did Daddy leave, I couldn't find him. I know Ike left." Jessy said. "Yes sweetie, he went to meet Ike." Mom explained. Jessy fixed a plate for Mom, Zac and then one for herself and she followed Zac. "Jessy you sit here otherwise will be dueling elbows." Zac said pulling out a chair for Jessy. "Thanks Zac." Jessy smiled and sat. "Jessy remember you promised to help me with fossils?" Zac asked. "Sure, when do you want to go?" Jessy asked. "My teacher isn't to happy with my lack of progress. I could really use your help. Could we go today? After you get done working?" Zac asked. "I'll call Mom to make sure she doesn't have anything planned. Yeah I'll help you after work." Jessy said and his eyes lit up. Jessy felt his hand touch her left leg and she smiled. It rested there throughout lunch. Jessy played footsie with him and he drew the attention of Tay, when Zac gasped as Jessy stroked his leg almost to his knee. Jessy quickly asked Chele details about Friday night, when was Jen due in. "I pick her up at the bus depot at 2:30." Chele explained. "Chele if I'm done working, I want to go. I can't wait until she's here." Jessy said. "Jessy I'll make sure your done working, please plan on going with your sister." Mom said. "Thanks mom that'll be great. Just listen at 2:30 Friday, You'll here us scream from here." Jessy laughed. Zac was stroking her leg and driving her crazy. "Nice to have lunch with you guys. I have laundry and my lunch time is over." Jessy said picking up her plate and glass and taking them to the dishwasher before heading to the laundry room. She stopped once she was out of sight and turned to get Zac's attention. It didn't take much, Zac was watching her smiling. She smiled back and blew him a kiss, and took off down the hall. She read to Mackie, danced with Avie and Jessie, promising to find her ballet slippers and bring them soon. At 1:30 she took them all out to the back yard to play on the swingset, they played follow the leader, and ended on the trampoline. After each of the kids had their turn, Jessy got on saying, "If you practice everday I'll teach you to do this." Jessy said as she did a flip, then twist, a back flip, and ended with a combination. The kids squealed and clapped and Jessy heard applause for the back door. She turned to find Mom, Dad, Ike and Zac watching. As she got down she was tackled by the kids. Mackie squealed, "Zac helps us she's getting away." Jessy had almost wiggled out from the three of them, when Zac pinned her back down. "No fair. Ike help me please." Jessy yelled. As Ike wrestled Zac off of her, Jessy screamed, "Pile up" and dove on Ike, Jessie, Avie, and Mackie on top of her. Zac reached up to grab her arm and pulled her off the pile closer to him. "Come on kids. Jessy's done working, let her up." Mom called. Zac's eye lit up. "Did you ask your Mom?" Zac asked. "Yep. I have to be home at 6, so we have four hours." Jessy answered getting up from the pile. Ike agreed to drop them off downtown at the museum and said to call him when they were ready to go home. They waved as he drove away. Zac took Jessy's hand and headed to the front doors. They explored the museum, Zac hiding and trying to scare her, Jessy holding his hand at every opportunity. They spent a lot of time at the fossil exhibit. By the time Jessy was done explaining, Zac named the four types, and how each was formed and how to tell the age of the fossil. Jessy was so proud she threw her arms around him and kissed him. "Oh I said I wouldn't do that. I forgot." Jessy said. "But Jessy." Zac said his eyes looking down. Jessy looked down, seeing nothing. "I don't believe it. I think I bet test that again." she said kissing Zac again, very deeply taking her own breath away. Jessy drew back and her eyes looked down, nothing. Her eyes searched Zac's, "Who da man?" she declared, kissing him and adding, "You da man! Zac I'm so impressed, Thank you." Jessy said hugging him tight. "Awww, look mommy she likes him." a little girl declared. "She likes him a lot!" Jessy declared and Zac took her hand and they left the museum. "We have two hours until you have to be home. What do you want to do?" Zac asked. "Show me downtown." Jessy said. They were walking arm in arm by this time. "Jessy, Zac" Chele screamed. "Hey Sis, Tay. I didn't know this is where you were going. We just got done at the Museum. Have you seen it yet. Beautiful building, you'll love it." Jessy said and Chele giggled with her wrapping an arm around her and they walked arm in arm leading the way. A car went by with Will Smith blaring and the girls started strutting their stuf. The car noticed the girls, stopped to enjoy their dance. Jessy and Chele hammed it up do quite a routine and had quite an audience before the song ended. Car horns blared their approval, the girls bowed and headed down the street. "You trying to ditch us." Tay said. "I thought we'd give you some distance, so people didn't pair us up in, just in case you weren't thrilled with our display." Chele explained turning to catch Tay's eye. "That's nonsense, I enjoy your display, especially this." Tay said catching up to her, wrapping an arm around her waist and his hand appreciating her butt. "Taylor Hanson people are watching." Chele said. "Let them watch. As long as they don't touch. This butt is mine." Tay declared pulling her close and kissing her deeply. "Jessy you can really dance." Zac said. "It's one of the things I really enjoy doing, I usually give it my all." Jessy explained. "It shows. Zac said taking her hand. "Thanks for saying so." Jessy said smiling. "You feel like a shake, or ice cream cone or something, there's a ice cream parlor in the next block." Zac offered. The four sat in a booth together, the guys' arms around the girls and the girls touching every chance they had. When Jessy went to the bathroom, Zac walked her and used to phone to let Ike know they had found Chele and Tay and wouldn't need a ride home. Jessy joined him at the pay phone wrapping her arms around him, kissing his neck after pulling his hair back. As Zac hung up, he drew Jessy to him and kissed her passionately. "Oh Zac" Jessy swooned. "You two are getting pretty close. That's nice." Chele said entering the bathroom. Zac took her hand and led her back to the table and they finished their shakes. Zac helped Jessy finish hers. At 5:30 Tay said they had to get going and the four made their way to the van and they were at Jessy's fifteen minutes later. "Come on in guys, you can see where I live and meet the boys." The front door was locked so Jessy fished the key from her bag, opened the door, and headed to the letter on the end of the stair railing. "Jessy just missed you, Diana said you were headed to the museum. Chris got called out of town and Delaine asked if we'd come early and keep her company. The boys were bored. so we've left. Sorry baby, I know how you hate to be alone. Diana said you're welcome to stay there and so did Jenna. I picked up your steaks, found a farmer outside of town, nice looking angus herd. He sold me some he had just picked up. The freezer is stocked, so is the fridge, and there's money in the can, have fun Friday night. Love Mom and boys." Zac called it first, "You're staying with us." "Oh no she's not, she's staying with us. We're were her family first." Chele argued. "So we're her family last, that means she's ours." Zac argued back. "Stop it, I'm right here. You know me, the one you're arguing over and you both lose. I'm staying here. I'm a thousand miles for what used to scare me and I'm staying here with my bestest friend in the whole world, ME!" Jessy declared. "I haven't been alone for over an hour or two in so long, I can't wait. Please don' be upset Sis." Jessy pleaded. "Jessy I'm not upset, I'm worried. What will you do here alone, if you have another nightmare. I remember Mom telling me how you woke from one so sure it was real, you ran almost three miles before she could stop you." Chele said grabbing Jessy in desperation. "Please don't do this, let me stay at least." "No I'm doing this. I haven't had a nightmare since I've moved out here. My reason for them is a thousand miles a way, they can't hurt me anymore. Besides if they come, I'll kick their asses." Jessy said grabbing a trophy from the case and tossing it at her. "I'm not a chicken anymore." Jessy said moving to the kitchen opening the cupboard and grabbing a hershey cocoa can, popping the top, she turned the can upside down at the table shaking."Wow major bucks, must be feeling guilty leaving me alone. Cool. Maybe I better stay with one or you. I stay alone and she won't feel guilty. Scratch that this is my paycheck too." Jessy said laughing. "Guilt my foot, she left me twenty bucks for four days." "Jessy there's two hundred and sixty dollars here, so you earned, Wow what do you do?" Tay asked. "Mom runs a computer design type business. She handles mostly business accounts designing and maintaining web pages. I help out. Imagine getting paid to surf the web. She just picked up one that we monitor a chat room, mostly dweebs in there though. She asked Chele but Sis is too busy to earn money, something about a new love interest in her life." Jessy explained putting the top back on the can and putting it back in the cupboard. She picked up the cash, "Come on I'll show you my room." Stopping at the fridge, handing Zac a Dr Pepper, Chele a Coke, Tay a bottle of water and grabbed a Dr Pepper for herself. She opened the cupboard and grabbed a bag of Doritos and headed up the stairs. She tossed the bag of Doritos on her bed. Jessy pulled a book off the bookshelf and headed to the bed to join the others. "You going to read to us?" Zac asked. "Sure, Once upon a time princess Jessy felt bored and decided to enjoy life for a change. She needed major bucks for new threads so she could turn the head of every man in the kingdom. She opened her magic book and out came money." Jessy said turning the book over and out came checks and cash, she took two hundred and put it back in the book and returned it to the shelf. "That's my mad money if you ever need any. I don't get mad too often." Jessy said. She grabbed a deposit ticket from the desk, picked up a pen, returned to the bed and endorsed the checks. "Who wants to count the cash?" Jessy asked as she listed the checks and totalled them. "Wow I had more than I remember set aside for my visit to Chele's." Jessy said."Eight hundred forty five dollars." Zac said. "What, we were going to have major fun this summer Sis." Jessy said as she entered the cash amount and totalled the deposit. "Major fun. Zac could you open the drawer in the nightstand and get me an envelope please." Jessy asked. "You keep a diary?" Zac asked. "Yes I do I love to write. There's a box in the closet full of my past. Go see if you want." Jessy offered. "There a blast Zac. That's what we always did on rainy days when I'd spend my vacation at Jessy's, she was quite a character. My favorite year is eight, she kicked butt that year. Got kissed on the playground, decked the fool, won everything at the County fair, went to State Fair and kicked butt, walked away with practically everything. It's the white one with the red hearts. Her first diary is kind of cute, what were you four or five?" Chele asked. "I just turned four. My Aunt sent me the diary and a Minnie Mouse pen and I was hooked. Here's my first published work." Jessy said returning to the book shelves and pulling out a kids book and handing it to Tay. Tay read the story aloud. "How old, seven. can't imagine Avie writing this. You ought to take it and read it to them. They'd get a kick out of this Jessy." Tay said. "Good idea, Avie doesn't like writing, maybe I ought to give them diaries. Do they have them?" Jessy asked. "No they write in their journals, but not a diary." Tay said. "Cool. Zac did you find it?" Jessy asked walking towards him. "What are you looking for, maybe I can help? Boyfriends, age 10, 11,12 and the current one. At 10 it was Tim McGraw, Kevin and Michael, 11 Tim McGraw until he got married and broke my heart, Michael sort of, and Hanson, 12 Hanson, Zac Hanson, Michael and Ronny, the current one covers what's his name, Zac Hanson and Hanson." Jessy told him reaching into the box pulling out the three years, and picking two new unused diaries to give to the girls. At the desk she opened a drawer and found some pens and put all of it in a gift bag and placing them on the desk. "Tay when you leave could you go home by way of the bank and put this in th night deposit for me?" Jessy asked putting the deposit in the envelope. "Sure." Tay offered and Jessy handed him the envelope, placing the duplicate deposit ticket on the desk. "We better get going. Come on Zac it's okay to come out of the closet, these are he nineties." Tay teased and Chele and Jessy were rolling on the bed laughing. "So you think that's funny huh? Mrs. McGraw. I'll show you." Zac said straddling Jessy, pinning her arms back and kissing her again, and again. Zac looked to see his brother in about the same position, except his hands were exploring her breast and her butt. Zac kissed Jessy again and released her hands. Jessy immediately wrapped them around Zac's neck. Zac kissed Jessy again and as he moved his hand towards her breast he had second thoughts, whispered, "Let's go downstairs." Zac got up and extended his hand to Jessy and led her downstairs. Zac headed to the couch and was surprised when Jessy pushed him down and climbed up on his lap, her hands lost in his long blonde hair. Jessy kissed Zac, and kissed him again. This time she sent her tongue searching his. Zac moaned and his hands felt the shape of her butt. Zac caressed her butt as Jessy moaned. "If you two are finished. If not you are finished." Tay said. Zac's and Jessy's eyes popped open. They first looked at each other, the approaching Tay and then each other and they laughed. Jessy rose and extended her hand to Zac and pulled him to his feet. "You gotta go." Jessy pouted. "You could come home with me?" Zac said. "Honey I need to do this for myself. Try to understand." Jessy asked. "I'll call you." Zac said. "I'd like that." Jessy said kissing him. "Night Sis, please don't worry." Jessy said hugging Chele. "You call me anytime and I'll be here in five minutes." Chele whispered. "I feel left out." Tay complained. "Night Taylor." Jessy said hugging him. "You'll be just fine." he whispered bringing a huge smile to Jessy's face. "You're right I will be just fine." Jessy said and waved as they drove off. Jessy quickly dialed her Mom and explained she was staying home alone and told her Chele had just left for home. Next she dialed the Hanson house, "Mom it's Jessy. The guys just left but they have to take Chele home. Mom I've decided to stay home alone and they were this long trying to convince me to come home with them. I'm going to be okay. I'll be there in the morning. I promise I'll call if I get scared. Tell Daddy thanks. Goodnight and I love you both." Jessy hung up, double checked the door and headed upstairs. She took a bubble bath, wrote in her diary, did her nails, found her ballet slippers. Jessy packed the slippers, the diaries and a dance outfit into her backpack. "Mackies is going to feel left out." Jessy said and she rushed to the closet. She pulled out a plain blue diary, found a matching blue marker. In Sam's room Jessy found a magazine with Power Ranger, Lost Galaxy, pictures. She cut them out and decoupaged them on the cover of the blue diary. "Cool if I say so myself." Jessy said and headed down to the kitchen to eat while it dried. She heard her phone ringing and ran to get it. "Hello" she said collapsing on the bed trying to catch her breath. "Jessy you okay? You sound like you're happy to see me not hear me." Zac teased. "I was down in the kitchen, getting something to eat is all and I raced up her, in case it was you." Jessy said. "Minute I walked in the door, Mom asked if I thought you'd be okay? I told her Jessy told me she would be and I believe her." Zac shared. "I love you Zac Hanson." Jessy declared. "Jessy?" Zac asked. "Yes Zac." Jessy said. "I love you too! I know I've only known you a little over a day. But I know I love you and I want you in my life forever and a day." Zac confessed. "Oh Zac. That's one of my favorite songs, but what Hanson song isn't." Jessy laughed. "Wait until you see what I made for Mackie. I figure giving the girls something, he'd feel left out and I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings." Jessy said. "You know I think you are the nicest person I've met in my life." Zac said. "Thanks and you're about the dreamiest guy I ever imagined on the face of this earth. Are you from Albertane?" Jessy asked seriously. "You figured it out." Zac said. "Zac it doesn't matter to me, I still love you." Jessy said. "God Jessy you would wouldn't you?" Zac asked. "Yes Zac, I'd still love you." Jessy said. "Wow." Zac said. "Did you tell your Mom everything you know about fossils?" Jessy asked. "At the dinner table. She was pouring Zoe more milk and I rattled of the different kinds, how there shaped. Then I explained how to date them. She poured milk all the time I was talking. Major lake." Zac laughed. "Oh that's so funny. I'm so proud of you." Jessy laughed. "I couldn't have done it without you. That's the way I feel, I couldn't have done it, breath, walk, laugh, love, without you." Zac said. "I know the feeling. It's kind of scary, but makes you feel tingling all over and you can't help but smile." Jessy said. "Yep that's the feeling." Zac said. "Jessy?" Zac asked. "Yes Zac." Jessy answered. "Love me forever?" Zac asked. "I have to, you're the only man on my earth." Jessy said. "Zac there goes the timer. My dinner's done and I have to shut off the oven. Call me later?" Jessy asked. "Every hour on the hour." Zac informed. "You probably will. Can't wait to hear you at 3 am. Bye Zac." Jessy said and hung up and headed to dinner.
