Lawnsmell, formed around 1991, played some mad punk tunes for a few years and then broke up. If you've never heard them before then you should because they are the best punk band ever to come out of Australia. They were made up of: Matt Alison - Electric/Acoustic guitar, Gina Monaro - Bass, Glenn Smith - Bass and Derek Alley - Drums. Glenn Smith, one of the bass players, also did most of the artwork for their album covers and he has some kick arse zines out around the place. Glenn is now in a band called Stitchface with members of Mortal Sin, Massapeal and All You Can Eat.

INCREDIBLE BONE CHILLING NEWS: There is going to be a double CD Lawnsmell discography with absolutely everything they ever released and some other stuff as well!! It's got 39 tracks and it'll be put out by Blind...but no one seems to know when. In other news, Stitchface have released their debut album on Blind.
