an all-time favorite of audrey's, this
treat should be enjoyed with
precision bass melba or almond
alembic float.

recipe: (1) set of used bass strings
(4) qts boiling water
(1) pinch of detergent

Boil the water to a rolling boil. Place the bass strings
in a loose coil, and add no more than a pinch of the
detergent (watch for the bubbles!)
Allow to boil 3 minutes until the core is soft, but fully
cooked. Salt may be added to taste.
Allow the strings to cool before serving. Strings should
be dry to the touch before serving on your favorite bass.
