Intet band er et rigtigt band, hvis ikke nogle af medlemmerne har nogle skyggesider, og det er lige præcis hvad Smart og Edgalar havde i form af fritidsbandet Eternal Cross. EC er et kristent heavyband med tilknytning til organisationen Christian Aid For Fat Children (CAAFC). Selvom projektet ikke endnu er helt lion, er det godt på vej og CAAFC er meget interesserede i at arrangere en tour, måske en hel festival, på vegne af Eternal Cross i den nærmeste fremtid. Det kommer sandsynligvis både til at dreje sig om koncerter i Tranbjerg (specielt på Mejerivænget), i Brabrand (specielt i Søren Schlossers hus), og i kristenmiljøet omkring Lillehammer i Norge.
