BRUCE LEE

Bruce Lee was probably the greatest combatitive martial artist of the 20th century. He certainly was the most charismatic and entertaining on the big screen. Bruce was originally a student of the southern Chinese kung-fu style Wing Chun. He created his own concept of fighting called Jeet Kun Do, which emphasized adaptability and flow over technique. Bruce was the eptiome of skill, speed, strength, coordination, and agility. He was master of the nunchaku, the bo staff, and several other Chinese weapons. Bruce was taken from the world too soon. It is most likely that he died from complications from being hit in the head too many times. Although Bruce was the greatest fighter of his time, he was constantly being challenged by co-stars, extras, and anyone else who could get the chance. Here is a small collection of pictures of one of my heros.

Above is a .gif from my favorite movie Return of the Dragon (it has his best action sequences in my opinion, a decent plotline, and a young Chuck Norris as the U.S. karate champion hired to kill Bruce).

Below are a few pictures from Enter the Dragon, the only movie I know of that is originally in English. It is about a martial arts tournament held on a remote island by an evil renagade/criminal Shoalin monk. Bruce is a Shoalin monk sent to infiltrate the island in the guise of a fighter. In my opinion, it is the second best Bruce Lee movie
