Can you possibly see
What burns within my chest?
Can you ever feel
What imprints itself into my mind?
The dirty images
Of you and him
And the things you did
Brings tears to my soul.
You betrayed me
You denied me
You destroyed me
You killed me from the inside out.
You ripped my heart from within
You tore at it with your talons of hate and disgust.
You dropped it when you were finished
Scraps for the dogs to lick off your feet.
