All Men Are Assholes
True love is a treasure long lost.
Searched for by all, but found by none
Eventually your path and his will cross,
And you'll know that he's the only one.
He turns your heart upside down,
Takes it, carresses it, and places it gently in your chest.
Puts you on your heels, and spins you around,
But all men are assholes, so you put him to the test.
Asking questions about his past love life
And he tells you everything you ever wanted to hear,
You realise that you love him, and want to be his wife,
You only know that you always want him near.
You would fall madly in love with him,
But your past experiences won't allow you to.
All of your past loves have since grown dim.
But all men are assholes, and you know what he'd eventually do.
You grow further away from love so true
Now he's gone, and you don't know what to do.
You're constantly thinking of him, and you're always blue,
You've realised that he wasn't the asshole,
The asshole was you.
