Steven Trapped In A Round Glass Room (Are You So Blind?)
I like this work, but only for technical reasons. The view/s that created and sustained it I now view as unfair and unjustified, and it serves now only as a record of a past emotion. I do suppose, however, that as an artist I may say what I like when I like. Still, I'm not proud of thinking this way. My brain was the only thing that was trapped. It'd be interesting to discover that the views presented here were actually true...
I feel an enormous amount of affection for these works and perhaps I do still believe he is blind to some things, refusing to acknowledge some things or indeed KEPT blind to certain things. I suppose he would not blindfold himself, or lock himself up. Someone, something, would do it. There - do you see where my negativity about this series sprung from? How would I know? Is it even my right to infer?
To the second in the series
