Anthony Michael Kent, aka Kunta Kentay, plays the drums, and does the vocals for Endive. In school, he plays on the Dryden football team, and Varisty Track. In his spare time Anthony enjoys Women, computers, and of course music!! Anthony has been Playing drums and percussion for about 4-5 years, Six string guitar for just about two years, singing for about a year, and just recently took up bass.

Anthony loves rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, punk, hard rock, light rock, soul, funk, Reggae, fusion, hardcore and ska music. His main rock influences are The Smashing Pumpkins The WHO, and Cheap Trick. His favorite bands are Shelter, the WHO, Cheap Trick, and Smashing Pumpkins. His least favorite bands are Mullets, Punch Drunk Monkeys and Hanson. His favorite vegetable is, um, Endive and his favorite color neon yellow. He's a Sagittarius too, for all the interested ladies. His favorite movies are Shes All that, Varsity Blues, Tommy, Monty Python and The Quest for the Holy Grail and Greedy. The funniest movie he's ever seen is Greedy.

If, through a cosmic error, he turned into a gardening tool, he would chose to be a wheel barrel because it's really fast. His interests are girls, music, sports and "the daily business of being Anthony Kent" (sounds like a full time job to me)! His personal quote is one he wrote himself, "Don't ever give up on something your heart tells you do because if you give up on your heart then your heart will give up on you and then you may never be able to fall in love again!" Favorite book? Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He watches Hard Rock Live on TV and his advice to you is, "Never never never never give up, NO matter how bad you think things can be they will always and I mean always get better! If you look in his window at around 2 AM, you might see him drinking chocolate milk.

What does he want to say to you fans?

I love all of the beautiful Endive fans out there and please do come to more shows and keep supporting us because without you guys there would be no use in us playing!!
