This live recording of My Generation captures The Who's crazy stage angsts that were so prevelent at the end of their sets. This recording climaxes with a huge explosion from Pete's amplifiers blowing up
Baba O'Riley, recorded live before an invited audience at Shepperton Studios on May 25, 1978. This show was no doubt one of The Who's most and awe-inspiring sets. The energy of Pete Townshend was unreal. Roger Daltrey didn't miss a note. John Entwistle ran up and down the longest bass neck in rock music like it wasn't even there, extremely smooth. And Keith Moon was, well, Keith Moon. Never missing a beat, always wise to Pete's 'wandering', a style all his own. Unfortunatley, unbennounsed to himself and the rest of The Who, this was to be Keith's final performance
And to end off that Shepperton Studios set, a gigantic performance of Won't Get Fooled Again. A spectacular display by 'The World's Greatest Live Rock'n'Roll Band'. (unofficial dubbing July 29, 1971
