Comments:
This is the only show that I know of where U2 does an encore after they have played 40. They only come to Texas once as year is Bono's explanation. Unfortunately the last track is cut prematurely. This is the 4th Joshua Tree tour show and the band already starts to sound well oiled. I do wonder though why they choose to put MLK/The unforgettable fire in the encore section. It does not really fit in that section. From the 2 Houston shows, the one of the 8th sounds better, but this one appears to have been the better show. But isn't this the story of U2 bootlegging? The best sounding shows in circulation are not always the best shows while really great shows sometimes sound atroucious.
