Comments:
U2's triomphant return to the Netherlands. The standard 1st night setlist excellently delivered but with a few surprises. Stuck in a moment is opened with When I get home, a hommage to Dutch rock'n'roll artist/animal/idiot (take your pick) Herman Brood who took his own live weeks earlier by jumping of the top of a hotel roof. During Bad Bono stops singing during the 2nd verse to get a young girl out of the audience which took some time. When he finally succeeds he takes her on his shoulders and runs a few laps with later on around the heart. The pauze between the 2 encores is cut short when the band decides to come back after almost leaving the stage, citing that some people have to catch some trains. Prophetic words indeed but not for trains cause what's even more memorable for me was the giant traffic jam after the show. The title of this recording is not official in anyway but a pun made by me to the person who trade me this boot. I told that the nosebleedsection where I was had a few people around me who were just standing there like zombies, not singing or anything. It was like being in the land of the living dead I said, and look how the show was titled when I got it.
