Comments:
U2 put on a good performance for Munich the night before 'Zooropa' was
released in Europe. Although obviously an audience recording, the sound
is surprisingly clear. Track 11 on Disc 2 is labeled as "vocals by
Edge", but really he's just singing his usual backing vocals without Bono
on lead. Track 12 on Disc 2 is not particularly interesting. It's
hardly even a song, just an instrumental jam. Track 13 on Disc 2 is more
interesting, starting off with a chiming, delay-laden riff, and visiting
numerous moods before abruptly ending. The packaging is nicely done,
with interesting graphics on the discs themselves, and a 12-page booklet
with ZOO TV and 'Zooropa'-era photographs.
This is the original pressing on this label.
Personal comment:
Remember, I just got this one on tape. I'm still looking for the real thing on CD.
