Source:
Digital audio copy of the 'Rattle And Hum' movie CD-I.

Sound Quality:
Excellent professional recording.

Comments:
This CD is the same as the 'Rattle And Hum' movie CD-I. Both CDs are the same picture, that of a famous 1987 black and white photo of Bono singing to the crowd. The front and back covers are also the same as the released video. Inside, there is a big photo of Bono and B.B. King. The text on the back cover reads: "A concert movie on an unprecedented scale, Rattle and Hum captures U2 -On and of stage - during their triumphant Joshua Tree Tour. From the giant Technicolor stadium celebrations to the black & white intensity of the indoor shows, this is U2 at their best. Follow the group across America, exploring new influences, playing with the legendary B.B. King on a journey which takes them from Dublin to Graceland, from San Francisco to the streets of Harlem, from The Joshua Tree to Rattle and Hum." Overall, this is simply an audio copy of the movie, but features digital sound. There is no distortion to the audio, but as is a flaw with audio from a CD-I source, there is slightly too much treble and not quite enough bass. A simple (and slight) equalizer adjustment is all you need to really get your money's worth. This is hardly noticeable, and the sound quality overall is superb. This is a welcome collection item.
This is the original pressing on this label.
