The plane ride back to the States seemed to go by quick. Johnny and Donna had to arrange for them to fly right to Las Vegas for their next scheduled concert. The next thing the group knew, they were walking through the tunnel from the plane to the terminal. The first thing they heard was a girl scream out "A.J.!" Then they saw the crowd of screaming girls at the entrance. Luckily, the bodyguard, cleared a path. Girls still reached out to at least touch Nick, Brian, Kevin, Howie, and A.J. They safely made it outside to the van which would take them to the hotel where they were staying. Kevin got the surprise of his life, when he saw Theresa standing by the van. Denise had driven her out to Las Vegas, so she could continue on the tour, and be close to Kevin. He ran to her, and gave her a long kiss.

"You guys can kiss each other hello later!" Nick said, as he hurried past the lovebirds and hopped into the back of the van. Laura hopped in behind him, then Brian Brianne, Alyssa, A.J., Kristen, and Howie and Mary Jae. Kevin finally stopped kissing Theresa and helped her into the van, then he jumped in and slid the door closed. He did it just in time, because the girls came running out of the airport, and headed right to the van. They started banging on the windows calling out their fave guys name. The driver slowly pulled away from the curb, and drove off rescuing the guys from the frenzy.

"Woooo!" A.J. said letting out a low whistle. "What a welcome, huh guys?"

"Yeah! I thought that girl was gonna grab my Wildcats hat off my head!" Brian said laughing as he straightened the blue cap that he had on backwards like he always wore it. "Do I still have hair?"

"Yeah! I'm not sure I do though, all those girls were pulling my hair!" Nick said pushing the hair out of his eyes.

"Oh poor baby!" Laura said giving Nick a quick kiss on the cheek.

Howie and Mary Jae, and Kev and Theresa were the only couples not talking. They were too busy kissing.

They made it to the hotel where they were to stay, the MGM Grand. The driver of the van was given strict orders ahead of time on where to park the van and drop the boys off. In the back. He parked the van, and everyone tumbled out, well... except for Theresa, Kevin helped her out. They went up to their rooms and unpacked their stuff. Then they met with Fatima in one of the hotel meeting rooms to go over the dance routines for the next nights concert. The girls watched them rehearse. Then Alyssa started copying their moves to Everybody (Backstreet's Back). Fatima saw this and said "You're good!"

"Maybe she could do the number with us tomorrow night?" Nick asked glancing hopefully at Alyssa.

"Well..." Alyssa said

"Come on darlin, please?" Brian got down on his knees and pretended to beg. Alyssa started laughing as she said "Okay!"

Brian then jumped up and kissed her in front of everybody.

"Oooooh!" They all said, making both Alyssa AND Brian blush.

Rehearsal ended soon after that, and they all decided to hang out together and explore the city that never sleeps. Denise watched Brianne again, and they all headed out. A gang of bodyguards surrounded the group as they went out on the town. Their first stop was Circus Circus, where Brian won a teddy bear for Brianne, well actually it was for Alyssa, but she gave it to Brianne. Nick won a plastic ring for Laura, which got the gang thinking about how much Nick liked her. A.J. bought one of those Dr. Seuss hats and joked he was gonna wear it at the concert the next night, but he playfully put it on Kristen's head, and put his arm around her waist. Kevin won a picture of The Muppet Babies, which him and Theresa both planned on hanging in the babies room. And Howie and Mary Jae just walked along behind the posse, holding hands, and gazing lovingly into each others eyes, like newlyweds usually do. They ended the night with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, where the boys, being the sweeties that they are, signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans.

They all returned to their rooms exhausted. Brian plopped down on the bed, and sighed. "I'm exhausted! How people stay up all night here, is AMAZING!"

"Yeah!" Alyssa said.

Brian sat back up, took Alyssa's hands in his, and pulled her down onto the bed so that she was lying on top of him. He kissed her on the lips, she returned the kiss, they laid there on the bed in each others arms just drinking in each other's kisses. When a knock came on the door, they stopped. Alyssa got off of Brian, who stood up and went to the door. He opened it to see Kevin and Nick.

"What's up?" Brian asked.

"It's A.J. and Kristen, they're not in their room!" Nick said.

"WHAT?!" Alyssa and Brian asked at the same time.

"Yeah, we've got to find them! Donna's gonna kill him! He went off without the bodyguards!" Kevin said.

"Oh man!" Brian said as him and Alyssa closed the door to their room and followed Kevin and Nick to the elevator. Just as they were waiting for the elevator, the doors opened and out walked A.J. and Kristen holding hands.

"There you ARE!" Nick said. "Where'd you guys go?"

A.J. put his hand up as if to say "Let me explain" Nick closed his mouth and crossed his arms waiting for an answer. "Guys... I'd like you to meet Mrs. A.J. McLean!" A.J. said gesturing to Kristen.

"OH MY..." Alyssa said as she hugged her beaming friend.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Brian asked.

"We wanted it to be private...." A.J. explained taking Kristen's hand. He walked to the door to their hotel room, and opened it. "Scuse us!" A.J. said as he put the Do Not Disturb sign up on the doorknob, he closed the door.

"Two down... three to go!" Brian said.

"I'm so happy for her! Although, I'm kinda upset she didn't tell me, she IS my best friend!" Alyssa said as her and Brian headed back to their room.

The next day the boys were busy. They had a meet and greet, sound check, and a photo shoot for the cover of People Magazine. 8 PM rolled around, and the concert began. When it came time for Everybody (Backstreet's Back) Alyssa joined the guys on stage, and did the dance with them. When the concert was over, they headed back to their rooms to pack, they had to leave right away, because they were scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno the next morning. They hopped on the tour bus, and used the drive time to get in a few hours of sleep. They pulled into the NBC Studios at around 7 that morning, and got off the bus. Everyone stretched their muscles out and headed inside to the dressing room. The boys did some a capella work to warm up. Then the stage hand came to the door and said you're up next! Brian kissed Alyssa for good luck, as did the others before heading onto the stage. They performed a new song called I'll Love You Forever which Kevin wrote. Then they joined Leno up on stage.

"Good to see you guys again!" Leno said as they sat down on the couches. "How's the tour going?"

"It's going great!" Brian said. "We've got a month off after tonights show in L.A. to take some time to relax."

"What are each of you planning to do,if I may ask?" Leno asked.

"Besides sleep?!" Brian asked smiling. "Well, I'm just gonna spend time with my fiancee and her little girl. You know, plan the wedding, play basketball...."

"I'm gonna do the same" Kevin added "My fiancee is expecting, and I'm gonna take care of her, and spend time with her, and my family"

Next it was Nick's turn "I'm just gonna spend time with my girlfriend, my family, do some scuba diving, SLEEP!"

"I just got married. So my wife and I are gonna take a well-deserved honeymoon/vacation to Italy or somewhere romantic!" A.J. explained.

Howie was the last to speak. "I just got married, when we were in Jamaica for Spring Break. So I'm probably gonna take my wife someplace special and romantic for our honeymoon!"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Leno said "Let me get this straight? TWO of you are married, and TWO of you are engaged?! When did this all happen?!"

The guys laughed. "Well Jay, I just re-met my girl, we were really close in high school, and..." Brian said, "We knew we were meant to be together!"

"A fate sort of thing, huh?" Leno asked.

"Yeah!" Brian replied.

"Well... best of luck to the two of you GETTING married, and congratulations to the two of you who just got married!" Leno said as he shook each of their hands.

"THANK YOU!" The boys all said in unison.

The show was over. They did that nights concert, and all of them but Theresa and Kevin boarded a plane back to Florida. Kevin and Theresa had decided to stay in California and go to Disneyland, and do some other tourist things, before renting a car, and driving back to Florida. They all settled in for the flight, happy for the upcoming two month break that was just starting.
