-----Okay, Kevin got back with Theresa, now he's a daddy. Awwwwww! He couldn't be at the VMA's because he was with Theresa, but he called. Yadda, yadda...the boy's won Best Group Video. Now they're partying! On with the show!

The next morning, Alyssa woke up and nearly knocked herself unconscious when she tried to sit up in her bunk on the tour bus. She remembered the night before, how the group had partyed till they could party no more. She hopped off her bunk, and checked in on Brianne who was still asleep in Brian's bunk. She tried her best to make her way to the front of the bus, but it was hard to walk a straight line, she kept running into the sides of the bus. She actually FELL into Kev's bunk, luckily he wasn't there. She got back up, and sat down at the table with Mary Jae and Howie.

"Where is everyone else?" Alyssa asked.

"Sleepy-Land!" Howie said in a cute little voice.

"So what's up with you two?" Alyssa asked.

"Just enjoying the sounds of quiet, before Hurricanes Brian, Nick, and A.J. hit!" Mary Jae jokingly replied.

"They're not that hyper! You've just gotta know how to control them!" Alyssa replied.

"Easy for you to say! You've know one of the wilder ones since high school!" Mary Jae replied.

"What's going on?" Nick asked coming into the room with Laura close behind. Nick sat down at the table next to Alyssa and Laura sat on the end.

"Nothing much...waiting for Kevin to call..." Mary Jae explained. Just then Brian walked in to the little table area.

Howie spoke up "Guys...wanna give A.J. a surprise wake-up call?"

"How?" Brian asked climbing over Nick and Laura to sit next to Alyssa.

"Oh...nothing much...just some shaving cream and a feather..." Howie playfully replied.

"I'm sorry...I'm NOT shaving A.J.!" Laura exclaimed.

"No! Well..." Howie pretended to think about the idea.

"HOWIE! Don't you dare!" Mary Jae exlaimed grabbing him and pulling him down beside her.

"I'm only kidding!" Howie replied as Mary Jae put her arms around him.

"That's not a bad idea..." Nick spoke up. "But what about Kristen?"

"What about her?" Howie asked.

"Is that really nice?" Nick asked.

"It's ONLY shaving cream!" Brian replied.

"We can just wake her up..." Alyssa cut in.

"I guess..." Nick said as he got up from the table. The group followed Howie back to the bunk area, where he made a quick stop at the bathroom to get the shaving cream.

"Alyssa? Get Kristen up..." Howie whispered. The group made a walkway so Alyssa could get through. She looked into A.J.'s bunk. Carefully, she shook Kristen, so as not to disturb A.J. Kristen opened her eyes "What?" she asked.

Alyssa helped her slowly, quietly, climb over A.J. "We're gonna Give A.J. a wake-up call..." She explained once Kristen was out of harms way.

"How?" Kristen asked.

"You'll see..." Brian replied.

"Do any of you girls have one of those cosmetic brushes?" Howie asked. "That will work too!" Kristen dug around in her bag, and pulled out a Blush Brush which she handed to Howie. "What are we gonna do? Give him a make-over?" Kristen asked. The group quietly laughed. Howie shook the can, and sprayed a whole heap of shaving cream into A.J.'s palm. Brian started laughing and hard to turn away. Howie tickled A.J.'s nose with the brush, and A.J. put the hand full of cream on his nose to scratch it. He smiled. Now Nick was turning red from holding the laughter in. Alyssa took the brush from Howie now. She brushed it across his forehead. A.J. put his hand up there, and left shaving cream there. 5 minutes later, his face completely covered with shaving cream, A.J. still slept soundly. The others were suffering shortness of breath trying not to laugh.

"Geez!" Nick observed.

"Let me try!" Laura said taking the brush from Brian and kneeling beside A.J.'s bunk. She tickled his neck with the brush. A.J. put his hand up, and hit his neck. His eyes fluttered, then opened.

"Oh shit!" Kristen said "Go! Go!" She started pushing her way through the group. The others had the same idea, NOBODY wanted to be caught holding the Blush Brush. They scrambled for the table. Howie slid in, Mary Jae slid in next to Howie, slid too far, and landed halfway on his lap. Kristen slid in, next and picked up a page of the newspaper, and pretended to start reading. On the other side of the table, Brian slid in, then Alyssa, Nick and Laura. Laura noticed the brush in her hand and chucked it under the table.

"WHAT?!" A.J. asked from the bunk.

The group started laughing. A.J. came into the kitchenette thing, and said "Very funny!" He pretended to sound mad, but he was laughing as hard as the others. How the driver concentrated on the road with all the racket going on, nobody knows. But the bus pulled into it's next destination safely. Their next stop was Washington for a concert that night. They weren't staying overnight though. The bus pulled into the back of the venue, and everyone got off. When Alyssa stepped off, those butterflies came back to her. Tonight was the night. Her first night opening for the Backstreet Boys. She was scheduled to go on right before them, and Alyssa knew by then the fans would by SCREAMING for the Backstreet Boys. The boys did soundcheck, and then headed off the stage. They went out to the front to do a Meet and Greet. The girls stayed in the back, and went back to the bus. Brianne greeted Alyssa at the bus. "Hey Girly!" ALyssa said as she picked her up and swung her around.

"Momma..." Brianne just rested her head on Alyssa's shoulder and fell back to sleep. Alyssa could feel the heat on her shoulder. She knew Brianne had a fever. So she took her inside and laid her down in Brian's bunk. She went back to the bathroom and got a thermometer from the First Aid Kit. She stuck it carefully under Brianne's little tongue, and smoothed the hair off her forehead. A few minutes later, Alyssa took the thermometer out of Brianne's mouth, and sighed, she had a fever of 100.1 degrees.

"What's the matter?" Mary Jae asked.

"Brianne's sick...what am I gonna do?! I can't leave her...but I have to do tonights show..." Alyssa put her head in her hands.

Mary Jae patted her shoulder "Don't worry...I'll watch her...."

"Really? Thank you!" Alyssa exclaimed as she gave Mary Jae a hug.

"No problem...I wanted a quiet night to myself...I'm sure Brianne will sleep most of the time anyways..." Mary Jae replied.

The concert was set to begin at 8 PM. Alyssa started getting ready at 7. She decided on her baggy white overalls, over her white t-shirt, white Sketchers, and a white baseball cap turned backwards. They had just finished her make-up and hair, when she got the message it was time for her to start to the stage. She hopped off the bus, and started walking. She headed into the tunnel to the stage. The lights were bright, but Alyssa was so nervous she hardly noticed the lights. She slowly walked up the stairs, and stopped, because the stage was right in front of her. She could see Aaron Carter just finishing up. The announcer came out and said "Let's give a big shout to lil A.C.!" The audience started screaming. "Now... for our FINAL act...this is her first concert so give her a hand...THE ONE, THE ONLY, Alllyyyyysssssaaaaaa!" Alyssa ran onto the stage. She didn't know what came over her, but the butterflies disappeared, and she actually had fun performing. She even saw some signs for her. After she sang My Love she remembered what the announcer said, to get the audience hyped for BSB. "ARE YOU ALL READY TO PARTY?!" She asked. She was answered by screaming. "WHAT?!" "YES!" "Well...I don't know about you, but I had a GREAT TIME! My name's Alyssa...my album will be out sometime in January...ENJOY YOUR CONCERT!" With that she gave one last wave to the crowd and ran off the stage. She stopped at the side, and watched as Brian and the others rose up onto the stage. Laura, Kristen, and Aaron came running up the stairs just then and together the four of them watched the concert. Well... Alyssa left a little bit earlier to get back to the bus and Brianne.

"How'd it go?" Mary Jae asked.

"AWESOME! Oh man...what a rush!" Alyssa sat down at the table.

"I could hear the screaming from here!" Mary Jae said. Howie's cell-phone started ringing so Mary Jae picked it up and said "Hello?....oh my gosh hi!.......what's up?.......how is she?......that's good!......I wish they were, boy, what timing, they just went on.......what?.......No! We're gonna leave you guys at the hospital in Florida!" By now Alyssa knew it was Kevin, she grabbed for the phone, but Mary Jae, moved "What?....no that's just Alyssa......yeah....she's trying to grab the phone from me.....why?.....I don't know......I don't know.....you'd have to talk to Johnny or Donna....no.....they went somewhere.......you've gotta come back soon though.....the fans miss you.....yeah!" Alyssa knew by now the only way she was gonna get the phone was to take drastic measures, so she started yelling into the phone "Hey Kev!" She continued this until Kevin hung up the phone. Alyssa went back to bring some more apple juice to Brianne, who looked a little better. She read her a story and sat with her until she fell back to sleep.

The concert ended soon after, and the guys all hot and sweaty from being under the stage lights returned to the bus. Soon after, the bus pulled out of the venue, and continued on to their next stop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brian pulled Alyssa into the back and kissed her.

"What was that for?" Alyssa asked as Brian wrapped his arms around her waist.

"You were AWESOME tonight...." he replied.

"Thanks...so were you..." Alyssa whispered. Then Brian moved Brianne up to Alyssa's bunk. He pulled Alyssa into his, and then closed the curtain.
