"She's cute!" Brian said once again as he closed the door to Brianne's room. She insisted on having Brian read her a story before her bedtime.

"Isn't she?" Alyssa said as she flopped onto the couch.

"Friendly too!" Brian pointed out as he picked up a foam ball and pretended to slam dunk it into a little basketball hoop.

"How come your not tired?" Alyssa asked from her place on the couch.

"Natural energy, I guess!" Brian said as he kneeled down next to the couch and stared in Alyssa's blue eyes.

"It's SO GREAT to see you again!" Alyssa exclaimed running her fingers through Brian's hair.

"Same here..." Brian whispered and then he kissed Alyssa on the forehead.

"I thought you didn't kiss girls on the first date!" Alyssa playfully teased him.

"This is different! I've known you since high school!" Brian grinned boyishly.

"Oh..." was all Alyssa could get out before Brian gave her a long and passionate kiss on the lips.

Before the two of them knew it, it was morning, and they were both in Alyssa's bedroom fast asleep in each other's arms.

Alyssa woke up to the smell of omelettes, and she was treated to breakfast in bed by her Prince Charming, Brian.

"I've gotta go..." Brian whispered kissing Alyssa on the forehead.

"Really?" Alyssa asked letting her disappointment show.

"Really... I've gotta meet the guys for a photo shoot, but, can I see you and Brianne tonight?" Brian asked.

"Sure!" Alyssa replied smiling.

"Kay. Don't forget me!" Brian said kissing Alyssa one last time, and leaving.

Alyssa remembered something just then and called out "Brian! You didn't drive here remember!"

Brian came back to her bedroom door and said "Oh yeah! Ummm... can you give me a ride?"

"Sure! Lemme just get a quick shower and get dressed! Can you get Brianne ready for me?" Alyssa asked.

"No prob, bob!" Brian said closing the door to Alyssa's bedroom to give her some privacy.

45 minutes later, the three of them were in Alyssa's Jeep, driving down to the studio where the photo shoot was to take place. Alyssa pulled up to the building any a young-blonde boy of about 18 years old came bounding up to the Jeep.

"Hey Frick! Aren't ya gonna introduce us to your lady friend here?" The boy asked.

"Oh sure... Nick this is Alyssa and her daughter Brianne, Alyssa this is my best friend in the group Nick Carter" Brian introduced them as he got out of the car.

"Hi!" They both said at the same time.

"C ya tonight around 8, sweetie?" Brian asked flashing that gorgeous make your heart melt, grin.

"Fine... c ya then!" Alyssa replied returning his smile.

"Bye Brianne!" Brian said waving to her and blowing her a kiss.

"Bye, bye, daddeeeeee!" Brianne replied waving a stuffed duck at him.

Nick looked quizically at Brian and asked him "Why'd she call you daddy?"

"I don't know, but I like that name!" Brian replied.

When Alyssa returned to her apartment, she suddenly felt sick to her stomach. Figuring she had a bug she took some Tylenol, and settled Brianne in with some Disney videos. Then she went into her room to lie down. 2 hours later, Alyssa woke up feeling better and got ready to go to work. She dropped Brianne off at her friend Kristen's apartment, and headed to the music store.
